Found by Mary and David at 11:50. We'd left the Caberra rain behind as we headed for maccamob HQ after the Capital GeoBash. The creek was making gurgling noises. We'll be home tonight. Dropped off "the shoe sole" TB. Our thanks to OZREG.

I was on my way home to Melbourne after spending a few days in the Snowy high country with the MX-5 Club... and took the opportunity to stop off in the Wodonga area to find the caches I needed to help me qualify for the **WCW - The 80/20 Rule Challenge**.Although I was planning to concentrate on the caches along the abandoned rail lines, I detoured into Belvoir Park for reasons of "convenience"... and then proceeded to this cache as it was nearby. Thanks **OZREG** for putting this cache here... and sharing part of your life story... and that of your dad's... with us all.
We joined in on the Canberra Albury Invasion or CAI fun this long weekend. After lots of puzzle solving and planning the time had come for a four day weekend of geocache hunting and hiking in and around the Albury/Wodonga area. We could not have picked a better weekend, we had great weather and avenged a couple of DNF's for us. Apologies for the generic log, thank you to all the cache owners for placing and maintaining the caches in this area, and for giving us a reason to come down the highway and visit this lovely area. Thanks for the hide OZREG

Albury Invasion trip Day 1. After panning and months of puzzle solving it is finally time to head to Albury Wodonga for a long weekend visit. I was with Kitty Katch, FufacesLL and Joolay for this trip. We left Canberra early in the morning and had one stop along the way before ding some caches just before Albury and lunch. We then caught up with other cachers who were able to join on Friday to go caching up a hill behind Wodonga. Logs for the weekend were signed CIA23 to save space. After the challenging hill climb we did a string of caches across Wodonga hoping to get back to the virtual before the end of the day, but we ran out of time and energy. It was a long day, but we achieved a lot and were happy with our start to the caching in the region. After a shower at out great ABB, we headed out to dinner at a local hotel. Thanks for the cache OZREG44808.19 TNLNVisited: World Traveling Gold GC A#6 & 2012 Compass Rose Kilimanjaro A#246**Albida**
#18845; Arrived in Albury around luchtime to participate in the Canberra Invasion of Albury 2023 weekend, which had been preceded by much head scratching and puzzle solving to prepare. Our merry band comprised Sol de lune, albida33, Smittengranny, Kittykatch, Joolay, FurfacesLL, Barb2e and isopeda, along with yours truly. Met up with Sol de lune and checked in at the hotel before heading south of the border to meet up with the rest of the caching posse before heading for the hills and a handful of caches. Following the hill climb, it was back to the 'burbs and a few more along the river flats before we pulled up stumps and headed back to the hotel for some sustenance. All up 19 finds and one DNF for the first part of the mission, with logs signed CIA23. A quick park and grab here on this nicely named cache. TFTC opted-out user

Strategically spent the weekend finding caches that were part of my initial Rutherglen Mega plan. Glad to knock out hundreds of kilometres; exploring small towns and finding caches along the way. Thanks to all Caches Owners for their hides.
