D 1.5 T 1.5 Small Traditional Cache
Had a very enjoyable caching day with willis007, Chamad with Charli after simber15's Australia Day event in the area.
Not here today. We looked at the spot where it should be basing on the hint and checked/expanded our search. Maybe will check again next time.
Thanks for taking us here. Nice place.

Today, I started out with a visit to Tinchi Tamba wetlands, with the main objective of following a Wherigo waypoint, but it was also a good excuse to grab a new challenge cache.
After repositioning my vehicle, I headed out by bike along the Deagon Deviation Bikeway to grab a number of *Monster Lane* series geocaches, riding from Brighton Park to Bracken Ridge Road. It was then an opportunity to grab litter at the Brighton Park CITO event.
I closed out the day by driving around Newport as per the *Newport Canal* series. Unfortunately, the rain arrived in patches as I spent a few hours doing this series, in which I ended up opting for my Jeep over my planned bike ride around.
It took me about two hours in driving around the *Newport Canal* series with a sprinkle of other geocaches in between. There are some great houses and waterways around here, and it was nice to stop off at the small parks/reserves that adjoined the canals and not feel too guilty.
At this location, I managed to walk around and it was a quick find of the cache with thanks to the hint. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks spiderwebbs4 for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

My first find! Tried to find two others before this and couldn’t, but I’m glad I found this one!!!!
I love it when I follow my arrow up to the 0m mark, look up from my phone, and immediately see the container. Hooray! A nice, quick, easy find of a cash that was in very good condition. I also had a number of curious magpies to keep me company while I signed the log.

Heading home from a nearby cache, decided to stop in and grab this one. Geohubby was too hot and decided to stay in the car.
Approached the GZ and coords took me to a fairly obvious location. Searching all of the obvious places, finding a perfect spot for a cache, but nothing was to be found. Sent the CO a photo questioning as it seemed that this is where the cache should be located given previous logs and the hint. But alas, nothing to be found here today.

Looked in the obvious spot according to the clues. Nothing behind the covering.
That took longer than it should have as was looking around the other side of the tree originally. Tftc
Was exposed so tried to hide it a bit more, a few muggles about but managed to be ignored by them. Tftc. Happy New Year to everyone. My first cache for 2021.
Out with grannysmith1947, Snickersallan, RoddyC to complete the geoart we started some months ago. Now with the balance solved it was time to go out and complete them As well as the caches released since our visit.
Quick find but a bit tough to get out.
