Checked on this one this morning. Lid was screwed on a little tightly, but otherwise all OK.
Out with Normanville finding a few caches. Took photo of plaque then sat in car working out waypoints. Back out the car & found the cache but alas between the 2 of us couldnt get the log out. Have sent photo to CO. Tftc

After some correspondence with the CO, it seems I've forgotten how to count to 14.How embarrassing. Oh well, it happens to the best (or most mediocre) of us. Cache found and log signed. The CO made me feel better - I signed a new replacement log. Kind of feels like a FTF.Oh, big church!TFTC!
I checked this one out when I was walking by there tonight. Cache is still in place and in good order.
Unfortunately, I'm logging a DNF - darn. The coords did not put me close to where I thought it would be - a great big tree with many hiding options at head height. The closest 'head high' GZ I found was not a tree at all - but that option, which looked very promising, did not hold a cache.I guess I could have returned to other trees in the vicinity, but I didn't think they would be reasonable options, as they were just too far from calculated GZ.Another time ...
Strolling around the area looking forward to your cashes. No problems with the calculations, and I found the container very quickly. TFTC!

I was running early this morning, so thought I’d have a look at the caches in the area. This was the target and despite a funeral service being in progress, everyone was inside so I didn’t get in their way. My calculations matched up with the checksum, so wandered over to GZ to make the find. For some reason I expected the cache to be bigger, given the hide location. Anyway, when I approached from the correct angle it caught my eye. Tftc
The Tuesday Trekking for members of the Befuddled Puzzle Solving group came around very quickly. I picked up S.A. Sewer Rat from the rat's nest, then on to Blackadders den where he jumped in. [^] Then it was off towards the Golden Northeast suburbs for a wander looking for newly solved puzzles, GSM, Former Reel caches now named It's: and anything else we came across. Not all of us required every cache so here are the caches I was able to put my name in the log.
Quickly worked out the coords. [^] The cache however was not quick as I started two trees north where I GPS wanted me and finally found it working my way south. Still a find is a find. That is not the first time the GPS has none that to me. [:(!] time for a new one me thinks.
***Thanks EsromL for putting out this cache and maintaining it for our enjoyment. ***

Another cache found on the way home from after visiting my son. Thanks EsromL.
I’ve been here once before, but I think once I was part way in I realized that a funeral service was about to happen and that was the end of that. Despite being a Sunday (mid afternoon), all is quiet here today, and an uninterrupted find was made once the GPS settled on one of the three candidate host structures.
Thanks for the multi EsromL.

Revisited and started again with a check of coords (whic c were 3xactly as i had them the last 2 visits).... thus tine, straight to it... tft hide...
I found myself in the area so I stopped here seeking some numbers. I initially struggled to find the plaques. They were a lot smaller than I was expecting.
Once I found the plaques, I calculated the numbers and came up with some sensible looking coordinates.
At GZ, the cache was found after a few minutes. Cache and log are both in good condition.
Thanks for the cache EsromL.

Took Jolly0 for her first time visit to nearby Costco and then we had a lovely lunch just down the road at the Bottletree cafe. A quick check on geocache and we noticed a small group of geo's not far away.

Thanks for this quick multi and for bringing me to this large, interesting church. Out with makingpie.
We were in Prospect area around lunch time and looked for few multis. Data collection was straightforward and then it was off to GZ. It took as a little while to locate this cache and only found it when we expanded our search area. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks EsromL for the cache.
Found the plaque and soon solved the puzzle. Thankfully it was my head height, so cache was retrieved, log signed and returned. TFTC
A truck driver has to have a 15 minute break in the first 5.5 hours then another 15 minute break before 8 hours and before 11 hours a 30 minute break or two 15 minute breaks. This cache was found in the 3rd break. A truck rolled to a stop. The driver walked to the listed co ords. No plaque to be found, he looked around. A priest came out from the building next to the church, turns out the noise of the truck was echoing in to the building. He showed me where the plaques where ( ok i didn't read the cache listing and notice the extra wp, blame to many 60 + hour weeks ). Got the information needed to solve the multi and at the same time explained geocaching to the priest. He went off to google geo caching and i went off to find the final location. fav point for the first time i ran in to a priest at gz.
If you cache into the night it becomes tomorrow!
Found your cache by torchlight. Easier without a congregation.
With a touch of deja vu at GZ it seems I've already been here with Sebastbat a while back!
All logs come to those who wait Bless you for caching!

Yay. Found it. Probably my fourth visit to gz. First there were workers, second dead possum, third People sleeping in their car but tonight before a night owls event the area was clear. A bit spooky at night but pleased to finally make the find. Another fun adventure, many thanks for the hide.
GeoVenture Mega Event at Millicent, still looking forward to it!! A new date has been proposed for October 2021 now.

Lots of scafolding and work going on here but no dramas collecting the info required for GZ, a short sroll later we soon had the cache in hand, a caching day out with Mattycat and Sebastbat looking at collecting a few solved mysteries, completing a few multis and the odd wherigo that have popped up around here in the last few months.

Little shonky has basketball practice in Prospect on Wednesday nights so I sometimes have the opportunity to walk around the area even though it's very dark at this time of year.
Last week I found myself snooping around a church searching for a plaque. I managed to find it and then tried to do the maths in the dark and somehow transposed a digit. The final gz was in private property and looked very doubtful.
So back at home in the kitchen I had another look and soon found my mistake and came up with a much more promising gz.
This week I found myself back at the church in the dark looking for the cache. Apart from the yapping dog across the road it was still and there was nobody about giving a chance to search. The cache was found in the third place I looked. But then a muggle came along and I switched off my light to remain unnoticed in the dark. Somehow I managed to get the cache out signed back in place in the dark. I think I must have looked somewhat shonky as the muggle started walking towards me so I turned around and left. The thrill of caching on the dark in urban areas...

This was a sad day as I stopped at 10 cache hides and only found 7 caches and had 3 DNFs
Even worse was that I spent about an hour kneeling and laying on the ground, looking for a cache and all I got was a bad case of the itches from the fine needle like lining of seedpods at that cache GZ
That bothered me for the rest of the trip Considering that cache was the 2nd of the trip, that shows how long I was itchy and scratchy
Still Rex and I are intrepid and so we kept caching and made a loop from Prospect back through Modbury and back to home[^]
Came and looked at another church and dodged the odd muggle while Rex rolled on the green grass and played decoy for me to search
Cache found reasonably easily in it's hiding spot[^]

This evening, I thought I would pop out to the northern suburbs to Prospect, and visit a few locations and collect some geocaches. It wasn't a bad evening, with a few families out and about kicking a football in their front yards, and playing with a remote car in this church's front area.
This church appeared to be a nice place to stop, and it was also nice to find a multi-cache type for today's calendar day. I made my way around to the back of the church, where the relevant plaque was quickly found. I crunched the numbers, and had a plausible location. However quite silly, I got my church corners mixed up, and made my way to one corner, only to realise it was in another area. So another loop around the church, and after checking a few spots, with a helpful hint, the cache was subsequently found. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks EsromL for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance. This really was a magnificent church to admire.

Walked to final location. J found the cache first.
Cache container was in good condition. Signed the log, and put it back.

A multi cache was needed to fill a hole in the calendar as part of my goal of filling the calendar with multi finds.
There are times when geocachers also miss things hidden in fairly plain sight. I spent way too long here checking every nook and cranny but, alas, no joy for me today.

I was intending to save this multi for Christmas Day as it is very close to home and wouldn’t take too much effort. However, another multi was published close to a wherigo I had planned to do on the same day, so it made more sense to do those two together and this one another day. And today was the day!
It wasn’t difficult to collect the required information, and GZ was just a short walk away. The cache was easily spotted as I approached - its amazing how items can be hidden in fairly plain sight, but remain invisible to those who aren’t looking for it!
Thanks EsromL for the cache.

A quick evening run with a Rat and a SkuzzyBear filling in a few gaps closer to home. caches that had been published since our last scour of the area.
This evening a number of Multi caches were the target.
Arriving at the given co ordinates in darkness the glow of the facade gave an eerie but pleasant appearance. Learning that the information required was back there, the plaques were found, numbers worked out and off to the GZ a short walk away.
Signed and returned as found.

Originally tried to find this cache a few days after it was published. However due to fading light and drizzle the search was short. Fast forward a few months and I decided to revisit the Rosary. Numbers were checked and matched the same ones gathered last time. Wandered over to the row of trees (now looking a bit more bedraggled than I remember). A short search and the cache was soon located. TFTC
Wow, I did that tff hv e hard way. I needed my daily and after all my commitments of the day met I am stumbling in the dark looking for a needle in a pine stack. Jesus has left the building. No wait, he's still in this one. Given the number of used 2B churches around here, how much longer until this one joins them? Found the plaque then wandered over to GZ and found the cache in the third place I looked. Very quiet here today. Jesus is not popular on a Saturday afternoon...

Found what I needed after walking straight past the plaques...they really are small! Did the calculations then went for a short walk to GZ where I found the cache right where the GPSr wanted me. I was lucky I looked from the right angle as it could have taken much longer to find.

After an appointment in town Owl took the opportunity to find the proliferation of Church micros that have sprung up recently along Prospect Road. The numbers were soon collected, but the cache took a little longer with so many choices.
Found in the third location I searched in. Spent far to long on choice 1 & 2. Thanks EsromL for the fun.
After a bit of a Brain-Fade on 'B' in the requested number grab i corrected it and was off to the final, after the checksum checked out correctly [^]

Collected the information. Cache found and logged. I am reminded of the Ben Folds Five song Brick. Hummed the chorus and wandered back to my car that was parked appropriately.
Needed a cache for the day and this is my closest non-puzzle to work so was an ideal candidate. After lunch I 'popped' out from work for half an hour and headed here. Lovely church it was so peaceful in the gardens on this super spring afternoon. Collected the relevant info, did a few sums and then made my way to GZ for a quick find, sign and replace.

Was on the other side of town when this one was published so it was an easy decision this morning to make a small detour on the way to work and make the find on this one. Arrived in the area and parked as directed (well almost!), Wandered over to the plaques, gathered some numbers, assembled some coordinates, got the checksum to agree and then wandered over to GZ and after a short search located a cache right where the hint said it would be. Signed a log and replaced it. Another church off the map. Off to the next one.
