Visiting a friend in Hawera and have got her hooked on geocaching. This was her second find.
Home Owner Has Done Maintanence On Behalf Of Demonqueen ,Cache Container Has Been replaced with Another Of Same And New Logs Have Been Installed For A Spring Clean.Happy Caching Everyone.
Didn't see Rose, or anyone, just strelitzia. A favorite point for being close to a dairy so we could celebrate with an ice cream. Thank you Demonqueen
A nice quick find. No one around! Then we headed off for an ice cream. Thanks for placing your cache. Ms_KR and I are on the road again, up "North" to visit family an friends. Today we are on our way south into South Taranaki! Another lovely summers day too.Occassionally signed MK+KR on cache logs, and apologies for the generic logs. Thanks to all CO's for publishing and maintaining their caches.
Decided The Cache Needed Some New Years Maintanence So Have Replaced Seals And Checked Logs She Is All Ready For The New Year. Happy Caching. Home Owner On Behalf Of Demonqueen.
A quick find without being noticed -except by a dog barking in a house.
Out and about with LNM1961 revisiting Taranaki and collecting caches.

Whilst hubby stayed warm in the car, NZ_B & I sauntered over to check out the cache. I quickly located it in its nice hiding spot, signed & replaced as found. No chance for us to linger today as the weather (especially wind chill factor) wasn’t what wow wanted as we head up to explore the Taranaki region.
With Gap (of Fap and Gap)…
Auckland Anniversary: We needed fair weather to smash out our big caching plans. We were hopeful that Taranaki would turn on some sunshine today and it did. In spite of one heavy downpour in the afternoon and the threat of thunder, we managed to stay dry and in the game.
We enjoyed working our way through the Smile GeoArt. Each of the puzzles was a test of logic and reasoning. We were able to solve many with surprising rapidity, while a handful needed some heavy duty problem solving. In the end, we had the trail sorted for this weekend's visit... A big break from Smiling - We felt a bit awkward on arrival. The neighbour was sitting at the table in her front window. We didn't know whether to wave or smile, and she didn't look comfortable either. We guess she knows something goes on at the neighbouring address, so we pressed on. A quick find - Thanks demonqueen. TFTC

Thankfully Mr Geckoh walked straight up to this one - no one seemed to be the least bit concerned about what we were fup to (not a lot of people around). TFTC

As I often do, I was spending the weekend in Wanganui (from Welligton) and after taking care of everything I needed to take care of there, I headed over to Hawera for an afternoon trip and to catch up with a friend. After a fun afternoon I headed back towards Wanganui, and stopped to collect a few more caches along the way. This was one of them.
Not my favourite type of hide, I usually avoid caches that are on private property or near letter boxes, however after reading the description and scoping out the location I thought I'd give this one a go. I did have to wait for the neighbors to farewell some visitors, and once it was all quiet I swopped in for what was fortunately a quick find.
Thanks to the CO for placing this geocache.
I enjoy every cache I find, and it is only with CO's placing them that this wonderful game continues.

I was so relaxed about finding this one that it took me aaages. I was keen not to enter and disregarded the chain for too long. All good in (on) the end. Cheers
With a preferable weather forecast for the Saturday this weekend, and a little time available for a roadie out Taranaki way I was off out the house at 0600 and back home 12 hours later. My initial (misguided) plan to cache up to Stratford, then back again was adjusted just after lunch and Normanby was the turn-around spot. A good day out and improved my Taranaki stats somewhat with 30-odd real finds and 17 Ad Lab stages (3 completed). Put my big-boy pants on to climb the Hawera water tower (a DNF for the cache though) and a great Earthcache out at Ancient Beaches. Many, many 2 Bulbars caches, thanks Lester, and appreciate the efforts of all COs.

My Email Account Was Deactivated Then Could Not Log Into Geocaching Web Site So Had To Set Up New Email Then New Caching Account ,So What Better Cache To Start New Account Than With The Geocache On Grandads Front _________.
School holidays so time for a tiki tour to visit friends in Taranaki. Parked in town and got on the bike to collect a few caches around town. All quiet here on a Sunday morning. Cache all fine. Thanks for the smiley.
Have Done Maintainance For Cache Owner ,Replaced Wet Log ,Put In Plastic Ziplock Bag (Please Put Log Back In Ziplock ,Bag Disappeared Last Time) Replaced Rubber seals on Cache Container ,Hopefully This Lasts For Winter.
We must have visited this one soon after the maintenance was done - everything was in excellent condition, and very secure! Thanks demonqueen for the fun.
As I pulled up on my bicycle I started to chat with the very friendly neighbors who were out the front of their house at number 11. They kindly pointed out where the cache was and so I made a very quick find here, TFTC
Met a nice local cacher in Stratford who told us about this one and that he did maintenance on it. So on the way through we stopped by for a visit. Found the cache easy enough and without causing neighbouring muggles to freak out. Almost got stung by a bee though... guardian of the cache

We met gibbin (who does maintenance here) a couple of days ago at a cache in Stratford. Had to come by while passing thru to get this one. A resident of the property arrived as we were leaving and made sure we had found it! Found a bee on the cache and a toy bee inside the cache! The real bee didn’t fly away the whole time we were there!
Malinkaly and I planned a road trip to go to the MEGA but Covid has postponed the event again. We decided to continue on with our planned journey making adjustments as we go with the ever-changing travel restrictions.
Greetings from Dunedin!
Thanks for the cache, Demonqueen

With team bop Philip.Perry McJandals and Nzflossy back in June going back through and logging the caches I forgot to log back then thanks for bringing us to this part of New Zealand really enjoyed our weekend away.
Found it , very cool and helpful neighbors .. in good condition, unfortunately didn't get to meet the dad .. thanks for the cache number 52
We always get a little nervous poking around people's home's and mail boxes, even knowing it's been placed there with permission, largely because of the close proximity to neighbors property's.
It took us a little time before Mrs watcache spotted the hide, but we were very happy to be able to tick this one off. Many thanks for setting this up.

On a road trip today with Mrs Rattll started off in the dark so would reach our first cache of the day as daylight hit. interesting area nice street. A bit hesitant to look to much around things as houses surrounding us, but then a find was in hand. log signed and placed back where found then we hit the road again. TFTC
A plan was hatched recently to hit the Naki area this long weekend. Nice to get away and grab a lot of our solved puzzles and ALs plus others along the way. Signed logs Team BoP to save room on log sheets.
I am logging using the Cachly app template so please excuse generic logging along the way. It’s just my way of keeping track, but I do genuinely thank each and every one of you cache owners for taking the time and energy to place these caches. Many Thanks for bringing me here. Cheers.

On tour with part of Team BOP having lots fun and laughs. We targeted one trail and lots of cool different caches. Thanks to all the COs for the work that goes into making and maintaining. Looking forward to the next visit as well TFatC
Team BOP is back on the road this time heading to Taranaki with our sights set on some Labs, some geo-art & everything else in between
Our current incarnation includes Davidson Clan, NZFlossy, McJandals and myself and we’ve signed the cache logs as ‘Team BOP’ to save time and log space. We’ve thoroughly enjoyed the journey as most caches have been found quickly & without fuss thanks to accurate coords and a straight forward placements.
I appreciate there’s a stigma attached to cut’n’paste logs like these so I’ll try to provide cache specific notes retrospectively when I get home. We do genuinely respect the work put into these caches, particularly some of the puzzles, but with a numbers mission like this - the hides start to blur together unfortunately. So Cheers COs, TFTC and most importantly - thanks for bringing us here

On a road trip down the west coast of the north island. Exploring and finding some geocaches along the way. TFTC.
A nice and easy find from my toddler (after giving him a small lift).
As we were putting the camo back the CO’s dad came out and talked to us. After a quick chat we were on our way again.
Good to meet you demonqueen’s dad and TFTC demonqueen!

Thanks for putting out this cache for woolwood9 and I to find!
SL **tm/ww NZ** (may just be a black smudge on the many wet or plastic logs)
We soon had another good cache located.
*No problem, quick stop, sorry didn't see the times listed - we were quite a bit later!*

ooh - an interesting cache description i'd try to write my log in the same style.
arrived here with the dragon not so sure down - a dead end road? yup! we spent quite a bit of time hunting through the tree before i had a brainwave and found the cache (and yet tomorrow an almost identical hide that i could not find!!) managed to fit a path tag, which is nice
a big day with taybeedragon, doing the lab caches between hawera and new plymouth. taybeedragon and i had mopped up this area pretty thoroughly last christmas so just just a few "ordinary" caches as well along this trip. probably all new ones.
discovered that I have to come back for the festival of lights in pukekura park - a must see event! it was seriously awesome last year.
ugh. too hard writing this way. i're switching back to normal.

Have Done Maintanence On The Cache For Owner Replaced Wet Log And Added Dri-gel In Hope This Keeps Log Drie also replaced seals on cache container.
We are on a ten day road trip to Taranaki, The Forgotten Highway, Taumaranui, Ohakune and back home to Palmy. Along the way will be sightseeing, short mountain walks, museum visits, a rail cart journey and, of course, geocaching. Day 1 brought us to Hawera.
We deviated a tiny bit as we came into Hawera, to get this cache. It didn’t take too long to find, but the new log is already getting damp, although not so much that we couldn’t sign it. Thanks for the placement demonqueen and TFTC

I am getting tired after a day of travel and caching and posted my previous log for the wrong cache! This one was a fairly quick easy find but the homeowner was probably nice and warm inside on this wet, grey, cold afternoon. A good one to finish the day with though. TFTC
Very overcast afternoon so followed the dancing numbers for quite a while but did eventually come up with the goods, went back to the car for a TOOT and soon had it all snuggly resting once more. TFTC
Teamed up with Cats&Dragons, for an overnight mission down the West Coast focusing in and around Hawera. It's been awhile since we've done a trip like this and it was great to be out finding caches again. We left Hamilton at 7pm Friday night and returned midnight Saturday, with only a few hours of sleep needed we managed 116 finds for the trip. A big thanks to all the cache owners for their placements.
Thanks for the hide. Managed to grab this one stealthy like.

Normally I would bypass geocaches hidden in locations such as this. However, there was enough information in the description to make me feel that my presence wouldn't be considered suspicious. The hide type was very appropriate for the site.
Found one lovely sunny afternoon to celebrate the easing of lockdown. Friendly people in this little neighbourhood TFTC
Rick-a-mortis was here OZR3RZ
Found on a rainy day with porkcrackle
And 2 first to finds

Travelling through this town and stopped to locate this cache. No muggles close by although one neighbour not far away but who did not seem too worried by my presents, if he even noticed that is!
thanks for this newer cache and all was well here.

Time whilst down here to pick up this cache. Owner was busy with concreting so had a short conversation with him. Tftc
A quick easy find with the hint. Was that gibbin sitting out in the sun resting his injured foot? TFTC
Heading through to New Plymouth when I get a PAF call from a fellow cacher who can’t find this cache. Thinking outside the box but inside the gate, it was an easy find. TFTC
