Bundaberg Day 6
In the afternoon I went out with Liz and Bruce to find a couple of caches & return to a couple I had previously had a DNF on.
What a woderful garden, really enjoyed my drive here.
FP for the location, these grdens deserve to have a cache to bring people here to see them.
Thanks for placing this cache MiddleRoom

Suspect the coordinates may be off a little. Went to where the coords said was gz, and searched low and lower. Then went back to the boulder and got down on my knees again, still without any luck.
Found today with Wazza9 and Liz and Bruce, stamped log and replaced. Thanks to MiddleRoom,
S24 51.286 E152 20.234 is where we found this one.
Thanks it is a beautiful park.

Multiple dnf from many different days. No CO log replying to messages or checking on the cache. Has not been found in quite some time
I tried to find this one on 9/6/20 with no luck. I even used a photo as a guide from a previous cacher. No luck for me on this one.
About 3mtrs from it's marker. Take a small child to look low enough. Left a tiny treasure in it.
Boyfriend looked for ages while I watched the dog and he couldn’t find! Then I looked and found it fast ! good hide !
This cache had Scratches and myself walking around in circles. Was just about to abandon the search when I finally found it.

Another lovely spot in these gardens. I was looking in completely the wrong spot (GZ according to my sats which then moved) when BH86 called out that he had cache in hand.

Took a while to find, well hidden! Had to get down very low to find it. Thanks for the adventure
Drove from gladstone to bundy to go geocaching. Lived in bundy years ago and had never been here. Thanks to this cache i have finally been here.
These containers are well camouflaged, just when we were about to give up,there it was.TFTC
Had me stumped for awhile there, passed over the area twice. No pencil on me as I was just out for a walk and didn’t come prepared. TFTF
Sorry about the DNF on this geocache guys! I have replaced the cache container and logbook. I have made it a micro container with no trinkets and have edited the profile. Happy Geocaching : )
Couldn't find this one at all unfortunately have upset children because we couldn't find it at all
This one couldn't find what so ever looked over half an hour on the 0m and nothing
Multiple DNFs cache was in a high traffic area and clear where it should have been...
Started the morning in Bundy with a stroll thru the Botanic gardens...
Pondered the possibilities and then read a few logs. It wasn’t there or there and definitely not over there. Widened the search and spotted it tucked under there
Dropped a trackable.

Time to do the outstanding hides in Bundaberg that I need a golden smiley on my map for. This was the 6th and last of the morning and the fifth of five in the gardens. We decided to park and walk to all of the hides in here that we had come for. As we approached GZ the GPSr was taking us to a spot where there could not possibly be a cache hidden. Let it settle down and it did not alter.
Read some previous logs and tried to decipher the meanings. Went over and sat down and out with the trusty torch. There it is. 15 meters out and placed way in towards the back of the covering object. The additional hint states no lifting required and this is true.. A traditional cache has to be at the posted co ordinates and this is per the guidelines set by groundspeak the owners of Geocaching.com and up to 6 meters out is acceptable but 15 meters is far from giving reasonable co ordinates. Please be careful of the plants in the garden as the hide is well in. TFTC MiddleRoom

A weekend trip to Bundy and a chance to visit a few last remaining caches within the 50km circle. A quick little walk around the lake as a couple of new hides have popped up on my map. Took a moment - was where I first looked, but I needed a second look past the blue stone.
Thanks MiddleRoom for entertaining me at this location.

Quick early morning find just had to wait for the gardeners to turn the other way. Hint was more helpful than the coordinates. TFTC
Beautiful Chinese gardens. Lovely plants, and loved the pond with ducks in it!!!
Love the tower shaped rocks and plants. It's very beautiful here. Thank you from Team ASB.
Thank you middle room for this cache it is very amazing and is in a beautiful place at Bundaberg TFTC
TFTC. We have been in Bundaberg house sitting since mid July. Having been in the area last year as well we had cleared Bundaberg out (except the T5s). It was good to see some new caches in the area. As we are coming to the end of the house sit we thought we would take the opportunity to find the newish caches before we left.
We were getting the motor home serviced and a morning in the Botanic Gardens was a great way to spend a few hours. We were just about to give up and when walking away we spotted it. A couple of other items diverted our attention.

Chinese gardens are so sculptural. I found the cache quite quickly while admiring the ground cover
Our second FTF for the day. After making our way to the Chinese Garden, we soon had this one in hand. It was quite visible from the path and looked like it could be susceptible to muggles. Hopefully it lasts long enough for many more keen geocachers to find. Thanks MiddleRoom for placing this cache. Cheers from Bindair Dundat and Princess Madelyn.
