Dayboro trip. Day 14. I spent the night in Moree and began the next leg of my journey south to Tooraweenah. It was good to get some caches in each of the towns I passed through including Narrabri. It was a nice day and getting cooler as I went.
I walked down to GZ, but the whole area is very flood affected and I was not able to locate a cache in the area I was able to get to. It may bee deeper in that stuff.
Thanks.

An enormous amount of water flowed through here during the flood, you can see how high it was and the enormous amount of mud caked over all the grass and paths. The grass has been flattened. There is no way this wasn't swept away. I couldn't find anything except mud caked flattened grass and logs.

Lake Somerset Trip - Day 8
On the way home after spending the night nearby. Always like an ammo can but this was tricky in the long grass. Another LGA added to the list

Flight cancellation saw me stay an extra night in moree and a quick cache before leaving after not finding it a week ago when arrived before my travels. Tftc
While staying in Moree with ilook4geo and Twista737 we visited this unexpected area with a Botanical Garden. We had a wander around the garden as well as going to find the cache here. This was a nice easy find of a good size cache. The log was signed with all three names before being replaced as it had been found. Thanks go to ReXross for placing this cache.
No problem in finding this container in a Botanical Gardens we never knew about before. TFTC.
Easy one to find. Thanks for bring us to the gardens here with goingplaces2. TFTC.
Found this one in the early hours of the morning before riding out of town. Thanks for placing this cache in that location.
Great hide Kerrie's first cache. Good spot. Kerrie drew the landscape in the logbook
Found with Roostaman on our delayed winter escape trip.
Thanks for the cache ReXross,

A short stop in Moree on our way through to find this new cache since we were here last. Also hadn't seen this park before.. very surprised at what a nice area it is. Nice too to find a regular cache that really is regular. Wish I'd brought the TB we've been carrying around but I couldn't remember where I put it. It's definitely there somewhere... TFTC ReXross.
In Moree waiting for the border to open to cross and head further north. Found with Nimbyfran. TFTC great spot would not have found this spot without cache.
The hot pools are the drawcard here in Moree, which are becoming my weakness travelling here, but a quick detour out of them for a geocache was a nice change of scenery. This is a nice park where we found the local gardening ladies planting some greenery, cache was in knee high grass found relatively quickly. Tftc
Yay!!!
Finally. Must have walked over it at least 3 or 4 times!!!
TNLS
Swapped pen provided for mine as it wasn’t working.

I headed out this neck of the woods this morning,
and discovered the botanic gardens of Moree
After brushing up on some botanical knowledge,
I wandered over to GZ
Oooh !!
Still lots of long grass,
but a bit of a path led in to a clearish area.
And after some quality poking time,
I discovered this largish cache
TFTC
Fave point for this one [^]

Thank you for placing a large cache, they are so hard to find these days. The grass was a little long but it was quite passable and once on the other side of it the cache was quickly spotted.
This is a lovely park for children to come and play in. L 2 x TB's SL TFTC

Due to wifi problems: we found it a while ago, but the log didn't stick obviously.
Ok, scouts, nice job. A bit more mozzies than appreciated, but an easy find after all. Thanks.

Thanks for this chunky cache which was a fun find in the rain and fading light.
Worth a showering and totally snake free on my visit (perhaps that's quite normal)
Just one find left for my 366 challenge.
Thanks

Found with Flick and Flim while in Moree. Thanks to the 1st Moree Scouts for this cache.
Quick find after stopping for lunch in town. Took TB that didn't want to be put in a cache. TFTC
Driving from Melbourne to Brisbane and having been in the car for the last 10 hours on a 43 degree day, it was time to call it a day and take a rest stop at the nearby caravan park.
After a splash in the pool and some dinner, it was time to tuck everyone into bed and for me to take a walk with geo dog Agent Roxy to stretch our legs and find a cache.
The closest cache was this one but still 1km away. Unable to drive to GC because the car was connected to the caravan, it left me no choice but to walk to it on foot. Even though I was tired, I had been sitting all day so made the effort to walk.
It was nighttime around 10pm when I set off. A few shortcuts here and there. Coming up to GZ it was pitch black. I almost didn’t enter the park as I’m afraid of the dark and wasn’t sure what to expect, and how far into the bush I had to go in. All I could think of is the possibility of people hiding or creepy crawlies, especially the 8 legged variety and their webs. Surprisingly I found a beautifully set up park with lovely pathways and areas to explore. At GZ, I made a quick find. The cache was pristine with a clean fresh nicely sized log book and some scout flyers/stickers. Our name added to the log. It was now time to let the geo dog have a bit of a run around the park. She loved it. Time to set off for the long walk back to the caravan park. Then another long drive lay ahead of us tomorrow.
Thank you for the cache here ReXross

Found by Mary and David at 14:15. Only 38C today, which is rather a shock after our accustomed Melbourne temperatures lately. We know many Scouting, Guiding and Rover leaders in Victoria who are also geocachers. Good to see some water in the River (we assume that there is a weir somewhere nearby). Dropped off "Frankenstein." TB. Our thanks to ReXross.
We are on our way to St Arnaud for the MEGA event. We l at left home, Innes Park, on the 9th and made our way to our overnight stop at Goondiwindi. Today we are going from Goondiwindi to Bourke via Moree. Arrived near here and parked and walked the short distance to GZ. Quick find. TFTC ReXross.
From one Scout to another - Scouts Rule! TFTC Moree Scouts. Found fairly easily.
Caching in and around Moree and surrounds we picked up a few caches and this was one of them.
Cache and contents were in good condition.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

Thallan to Moree
We stopped along the road where we found suitable places to park with a caravan on.
Arrived into Moree about noon & have set up camp at the showgrounds.
After lunch we did a tour of the town finding caches as we went. This was a nice way to tour the area.

With a few spare days up our sleeves we headed north with a view of grabbing a few caches to fill in some missing Northern New South Wales LGAs. With the cache in hand we signed the log and replaced as found. Both the cache container and log are in good condition. Thanks for the cache ReXross.

First for the day. Day three will take me from Moree to Muswellbrook. Lots of caches, a few trigs and a whole lot of fun. Tftc
Quick cache before work. It’s good to see the group still getting out into the community.
