After exploring the obvious, something caught my eye and I ventured off to make the find. TFTC.
We found this clever hide this morning, as we set off to find a few of this series. The hint helped us locate it, and we appreciated the work needed to make it so interesting. A favourite point coming your way, dghoffy, with thanks.
Visited it during 28-days geotrip to Australia, N.Caledonia, Vanuatu, Fiji, Am.Samoa, Fr.Polynesia with Marci, Ch. Sometimes we logged as "MT" or "Jonea" or "MTCh". Thanks for showing nice caches and places. MT-Jonea from Brno city in Czechia EU.
It was hard to tell what was rubbish around the spot, so very difficult to find. But the Bellbirds were amazing.
Down the coast for annual holiday found on a day trip to EdenAhh nice container, found after short search
Did not find and dont recommend looking. A tonne of rubbish thrown in the area alongside the road. It would be impossible to distinguish what was a cache.
wow again. What a great hide, dont think its meant to be under the sand. TFTC JENPETEH, The H,s , South Africans living in Tassie GeoCaching our way around Australia and loving it
Thank you for going to the effort of hiding this cache. You have shown us a new place and increased our experience in this location it is what helps make geocaching an enjoyable activity. Unfortunately after a good look around we didnt find the cache this time.
Found by Mary and David at 12:20. A FP for another great camo job. Our thanks to dghoffy.
In the area for work. G'day from Brisbane. Rocking along to Merimbula Favourite Point for the effort! It's a hard rock!TNLN TFTC.
F(H)ound It! #3792 @ 3:45 PM
A fabulous container! Took us a while to open, until we realised it was not a screw-top.
Thanks for the cache, dghoffy

What a great series and great caches. Aqau and I stayed at Pambula for 2 nights. Thanks for placing this series for us to enjoyment.
OCW PelDroedGwin and geodog Peppa, heading to Eden today.
Another well crafted container.

Ocw the Bebes on a sunny Boxing Day. A quick park and grab for this one. Nicely made container. Tftc
I assume the people that beeped at me were fellow cachers haha. But yes, diving into bushes in full sight does make me feel awkward haha. Nice cache. Thanks.
Found this cache on our East Coast Trip Day 5 in company of Bazzars. On route to Pambula, we found a few extra on the VB series. Thanks from D B-A
Found a note pad with unlogged geocaches from The Stumble's annual caching trip so doing a lot of retrospective logging.

Very glad I moved my foot quickly out of the way. Could have had quite the injury. TFTC!
This cache Rocks. Heading back to Eden after the Pinnacles had been visited and we had no objections to stopping off and picking up a couple more caches by this CO. This proves the quality of the caches, as a dozen in a day for us is a lot.
There was a little room on the verge here to safely park while two of us set about looking for the cache. I certainly understand now a previous finders comments regarding a CITO here, there is plenty of garbage just beyond the line of bushes.
Found the clever cache container, protected amongst large rocks, away from the other debris. Log sheet all good and was signed and replaced.
Thanks for the cache creation dghoffy. Another good one. Cheers

Might need to host a CITO here! Shame people like to dump rubbish in our beautiful nature...
Luckily the cache wasn't affected and hiding away from it all out of sight! Another good find

**All caches were signed *AB ! 11 / 9***
Adventure Boys! consisted of: Loci612, DARKSIDEDAN and sebass19 for this trip

**Day 2: VB Series**
Today our main focus was the VB series, plus a few extras along the coastline section of the loop! We started nice and early at 7am and had a jam packed day until we decided to leave the last 20 or so for the next morning! We didn't expect the series to take quite as long as it did, but with some tricky hides, tough bush bashing through thick regrowth and a couple of DNF's the time added up quickly! Thankfully we almost had the roads to ourselves, at one point we saw less than a handful of cars over several hours! We did see a big bikie group coming through the forest at one stage also!
Absolutely fantastic series, easily one of the best in NSW! I'm not a big fan of power trails but this was far from one! Just a cluster of awesome caches, on quiet roads with plenty of parking and lots of creativity and fun to be had!
Thanks dghoffy!

Found with the Adventure Boys (Dan, Seb, Loci) on a trip to the deep South. Signed dsd or darksidedan or Adventure Boys or AB to save space in the log. Thanks for the cache and the adventure.

That is very sneaky! not giving anything away but we spent a lot of time stepping around the pile of rubbish. you do not need to go into the pile of rubbish at all. it's a very safe spot and it's within 1 m of the clearing.
Exploring the area with Nibletricecakes and k8tybee. Love the variety of dghoffy hides. Thanks for the entertaining day.
Bit rusty? Not sure how.. but.. seemed to be. cache still in great condition despite recent tree clearing in the area. Very cleverly done.
Down at the coast with GLISS! to help K8TYBEE celebrate her birthday. Perfect time to grab some funky caches, check out some antique shops and stare at the beautiful beach. Been watching the news in case the dreaded Covid rears it’s head down this way. So far things are looking all clear. Thanks for the cache.

With our masks ?? and sanitizer we are out in the area for a couple of days, adventuring for my birthday ?? with nibletricecakes and GLISS! TFTC ??
Normally I’m good on the photos but today I was a little off my game so here is a photo of my pixie kitty instead. ??

This one tricked us. Cache was in hand immediately, but we didn’t realise. We were about to call it quits but had one last check… and there it was. TFTC
On arrival at GZ we weren’t sure whether we would find this one as there is lots of debris from the previous floods/rain and a heap of rubbish been thrown into the bush. However a short search turned up something that was likely to be the container and it was. There is no way this is floating away in the floods and although the log is quite wet it’s still able to be written on. Thanks for a great cache.
Didn’t like the look of the drop where we pulled up so Miss 4 stayed in the car for safe keeping. Soon found up a bit further near a pile of someone’s dumped rubbish
Thanks for the fun
Thanks for the fun
TFTC down here from Canberra for a couple of days exploring the region with mr-aeiou.
There was something out of place here, but at first try we were unable to locate the cache. second inspection saw the well-crafted hide located.
Its been a while since we have made it up to the southern New South Wales coast but we are back for a week or so. Haven't chosen our time well with all the wind an rain that is about but it is still great to be away. But this has been of benefit to the local cafes as we have visited a few!
With a bit of a break in the weather we thought it was time to head out and look for a few local caches. There is quite a bit of new activity in the area since we were last here and with most of it by D G Hoffy, we knew there would be good and varied hides on the agenda. We weren't disappointed!
We managed to dodge most of the heavy showers during our time out and were treated to some magnificent scenery. All in all a great day.

The Canberra day long weekend falls on the first weekend in March so we usually take this time to head out of town. So this year, the caching troupe of us and Rapidlywild decided to head to the Merimbula to Eden coastline to collect a few smiley's.
The weather was lovely and it was really nice to get some sea breeze on our faces and sand between our toes.
A quick search around and we soon had the cache in hand.
Thanks for placement and the series dghoffy.

With the Canberra Day Long Weekend upon us, the FFLL ladies and I usually take off towards SA or the likes for some caching, however with the unpredictability of COVID on the borders, we decided we would try for something a little closer to home. We decided that we would come down and have a crack at the VB trail around Eden and Merimbula. It was a great weekend away with both the FFLL ladies and it was nice to see the ocean and get some sun on our faces.
Day 2 of our weekend away and time to collect some more smilies. Nicely done ! Would have taken some patience to put this one together. Log signed and cache hidden as found.
Thanks for the cache placement dghoffy and thanks for the wonderful weekend away FFLL ladies Always enjoyable and always something to look forward to.

I'm getting into the feel of the VB caches now
So here by the lazy peoples rubbish dump,
I soon spied a likely bit of camo
Yeah !! Too easy
But boy oh boy that must have taken a bit of work to hide this cache

A family holiday in Pambula with some early morning caching. Unfortunately the weather wasn't so great with overcast and rainy conditions on most days. Didn't stop the geokids hitting the surf and nearby river, but a few more degrees and blue sky would have been nice.
Spent a few hours most mornings before everyone else was up caching the local area.
Apologies for the generic logs, specific or interesting details added as appropriate.
A well planned and thought through series, well done!!. TNLNSL TFTC

Great work. Had to "flush out " a guy in a ute having a cigarette very close to GZ. As soon as he left, we swooped on the cache. Gets a favourite point from us.
Crystal Warrior and I spent the day on a run to Eden. Along the way we stopped off to look for this series of original caches! We liked how they were themed and how they all had good safe spots for pulling off the road. Thanks dghoffy good job on this one!
Super clever hiding spot! If you’re wanting to sign on this one take a pen. Wasn’t one there and didn’t have one to leave!
What a great series. Good caches and awesome scenery. This was one we found. Fav point alloc. Our thanks to dghoffy for placing this cache and adding to our enjoyment of the area.
Yet another great hide hoffy. Introduced Wominjeka to cacheing. Her first find. TFTC
