Logs
This was a tricky little one that took us a while to find.We read a few old logs and looked at a couple of pictures that helped us pinpoint GZ a bit closer.Very clever how you utilised that spot.TFTC
I had the right idea and suspicion on this geocache, but it took a few minutes to find it. A nice location and hide, and the cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks KrispyKremers for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.----------Today, it was an outing in Brisbane's western suburbs of Sinnamon Park, utilising my flexible work Friday in visiting the cluster of geocaches that I hadn't had the opportunity to find. Across lunch, I had organised with [jesswrigley](http://coord.info/PRNW59T) to support baby Mopsy whilst shopping at Indooroopilly, thus we went up/down the mall levels window shopping accordingly. I then continued geocaching in the afternoon in nearby suburbs Fig Tree Pocket, followed by St Lucia, and as I returned to the CBD, a newly published cache had me detour to West End. A day cruising around and it was nice to be out and about.
Was pretty difficult until I started reading the logs. I nearly instantly found it afterwards. Pretty fun. Forgot pen so couldnt sign log book. Tftc
8 June 2024 2:55pmNeeding some time out in the afternoon with the kids we grabbed a few caches, before they got bored again. My daughter was really keen to go here because of the 'really cute name' and then got too distracted enticing an ibis to follow her along the pathway to even start looking for this cache. This was a nice little hide and quite fun to find. Thanks for the cache
#7734On our last full day in Brisbane we had some family commitments so just went for a couple of little caching drives, chasing tree climbs and fishing and other interesting caches along the way, we had our fair share of DNFs today, but had fun in any case as always.DNF avenged from years back... Took several seconds todayThanks for the cache!
#7734Were up in Brisbane for a few days visiting my grandparents, so in between being at home and other various activities, we have time to do some caching! We have our full range of TOTTs with us, so were targeting those caches. end of copy paste Seems the hide and container have seen better days, but nice to avenge a DNF. TNLN SLThanks for placing and maintaining this cache KrispyKremers
I headed out in the geo-car for a few caches today.Decided to hit a few along the way to visit my granddaughter for her 1st birthday.I found your cache, Garden of EDENbrooke today. This is my 2579 find.Took a bit to find this one. Nicely done. FP granted.KrispyKremers, TFTC, TFTH & TFTSF
I have to admit the spoiler pics made this a relatively easy find this morning.
Most times we don't look at comments unless we are having trouble locating cache and need a little inspiration but as the last KrispyKremers cache we came across caused brain drain 'twitchers' we succumbed and had a peek
Cache found safely tucked away. Signed log and replaced as found.
Thanks KrispyKremers for another great cache.

We are now heading north to avoid the coldest of the winter weather in Victoria. Loving our time around Brisbane and around the area.
After reading a few recent logs, stopped off here expecting to take a bit to find but spotted it from the right angle, so it was quickly retrieved. A sneaky hide.
Thanks KrispyKremers for placing this cache and doing the maintenance, so we can enjoy finding it.

Found it. Did not write in the log, though. Grabbed it while having lunch nearby. Thank you.
A friend was having a surprise milestone birthday party and a trip to Brisbane was required to attend.
After accidentally (on purpose), booking my flights a few days earlier, it was time to do some pre party caching around town.
With the celebrations over and the trip coming to an end, it was time to meander my way west back to the airport
This one took a while to find. A clever hide, not where I first expected it.
Thanks KrispyKremers for adding this cache to the worldwide collection for us all to enjoy.

Wow an awesome really clever hide well done and thank you so much for placing favourite from me on this one!
Easy find. Curious about the waypoint details below the walkway that indicate the middle of the childcare driveway.
My GPS is about 8 m out here today so I guess the cloud cover was having a bit of an effect. Had a fair idea of the type of hide it would be and found the correct spot but extracting the log was quite difficult but got there in the end. TFTC
We had read this was a sneaky hide so once at GZ we suspected where it may be hidden and then it was just a methodical search until we reached the hide. Thanks KrispyKremers

Pulled up and saw a sign of the cache straight away. Extracting it proved a little more tricky but I got it eventually. Log signed, cache returned and now back out of sight. TFTC!
Sat down to watch the geokid do the hard for me and guess what I put my hand on?
TFTC.

Out caching with RoddyC and Hatsoff to do a bit of maintenance then find some other caches. I had previously been here twice before and I think it was raining both times.
Knowing the caches put out by this CO I knew it would be tricky. We made a PAF and I eventually found where it was but I couldn't retrieve it. I think it was hatzofff who finally did retrieve it but the content s weren't in good condition. The wet log was replaced and then our signatures added before replacing where found. TFTC

Bit of a maintenance run. With hatzofff and imbunda.
Well, that WAS a sneaky one. Retrieved the cache and the mushy paper inside, which is now removed. New paper in zippy.
Log signed and cache replaced as found at 2:30 PM on July 24, 2022. TFTC, KrispyKremers

On a caching and maintenance mission in this area today.
Got a little help from a friend but took us an age to retrieve. Just needed the right tool.
Travelling and caching with RoddyC and imbunda.

Soooo sneaky!! Found this one by chance! All 3 logs were too soggy to sign so I attached a picture for proof. TFTC
I took some time off from work to continue with a personal challenge I have set myself. This one was a little wet and hard for me to sign some help is required here but unfortunately, I had nothing with me today.
Thanks for the placement, I replaced all as best as I could.

Found with kelr0cks. One of the trickiest caches we have found in a while. Log was wet, added a piece of write in the rain paper.
Found with Joshwyatt83…
Tricky tricky…. Ignored the coords and used our geo brain and there it was…

We knew we were looking for something a little more tricky thanks to the previous logs. Took a little searching but we eventually found it! ??
What a fantastic cache. Like others I used previous logs for a bit of help. I looked at the exact right idea in the wrong place at first but eventually found it and even managed to extract it with my big hands lol. tftc definitely a favourite
Man that is nasty. I was on the right track from the start, but needed previous logs to send me far enough in to find this one. The log was useless from the rain. Added a new one in a baggie, so all is well here again. Another favourite point for the collection.
Excellent hide! Clues helped a lot. Log too wet to write on so pic for evidence of find! TFTC
Found, unable to sign due to being wet. Unfortunately I had no paper to replace for you. TFTC
With overall wet weather not many muggles about, and no kinders from the next door centre outside so a useful time to search. I used to walk through this park/corridor very frequently but have been very slack of late. From the logs, obviously a tricky hide, but soon located something unusual, and uncovered a container. As previous finders have commented the log is very wet and fragile, so carefully with tweezers managed to unfold enough to write on. Then replaced and departed. TFTC, KK. Saw a nice lizard keeping guard near GZ, and an impressive blossom nearby.
We were thrown off a bit by the one comment that it is better at night and almost headed back. Just a bit more searching and determination paid off. Thanks for the hide. The log is as previous logs stated a bit wet and need replacing.
Geokid_madison made the find, in the dark! Found with REMSJW, Geokid_madison and geoDaisy.
While out this way for a car service, I was determined to find this one. We have found a number of tricky KrispyKremer caches but this one had eluded us. We had looked many times before but with a bit more geocaching experience and reading previous logs, I zeroed in on a likely spot. Yay, this was it! I could feel it but it took a bit of time to retrieve it but eventually got it out. The log was stuck together from being previously wet but is dry now. Signed and replaced with a little bit of difficulty and luckily all done between people walking by. Tftc
Found with bennyboppers, we took quite a search for this one. After searching one area quite a lot, we expanded our search almost giving up. Funny thing is I kicked the thing the cache was contained in but didn't really look at it, bennyboppers searched it properly and uncovered the cache. Trust me. Oh well. Log is extremely wet and couldn't sign very well. Tftc
An invite from Kestal to help her fill in time while she was in Brisbane saw us spend a few hours dodging showers and finding a few random caches...there was no 'to do' list today - just whatever was closest. The pain was more in extracting the container from its hide then in the finding!! Nice one. TFTC KrispyKremers.
Next one to tick off the list for Eskies5 and I as we made our way around the area today. Once we had located this one the hard bit was about to start, thankfully the rain had given us a reprieve and we were able to do it without the wet stuff falling. After our struggle to retrieve this one we were able to sign our names and return it to where it was found. TFTC KrispyKremers
The first time my daughter Pinkypie05 and myself came here we had no luck. I messaged a friend who gave us a hint. We came back for another look today. Searched here and there and then I could feel something. Very very sneaky . A favourite from me. TFTC!
Peppa and abeck58 started looking while I was on the phone to 2manytrailers (unfortunately she has to go to work today and can't come out to play). Pushing prodding looking moving high low. We all love a Krispykremers hide. Peppa finally came up with the goods - he is soooo clever . Thanks again KK for sending us on a jolly search
Oh my... another KrispyKremers cache that took a lot of concentration... I’ve been here once before, but that was a very short visit, today though with PirateLinda and abeck58 reading previous logs gave a couple of clues to what must be done...
Have another fave point...

Looked for ages and read through the logs and other than saying it's really hard to find it didn't didn't help
Out for an afternoon hunt with Caveman9614 and Mystawberry.
Recent sewage spill in area made us want to find this cache fast - but it took us some time and I am glad we found it, as it is an awesome cache! Thanks for the fun (despite the smell) hunt. TFTC.

After a decent search gensies had the cache in hand. Cache in good condition! Out with gensies and mystawberry. TFTC!
Ah ha! We looked in the wrong spot for a little before reading other logs that the co-ords were just a little off. Wandered a bit further and found it TFTC Great hide
I finished work early today and decided to pick up a few smileys. I was looking for somewhere to bike ride and this area was perfect. I ended up finding 8 caches and just over 8 kms. I came here once with no luck and decided to paf. I had ridden on for 1km before I got a hint and just had to come back. I soon found this tricky find. Lucky I always have my tweezers.I love it and giving it a FP FOR all the fun. Happy doughnut day.
HUZZAH! This one took a lot of time and effort, both before and after we figured out where the cache was. We were ready to call it when geomum thought, “just one more look,” and started playing around with a particular suspect we hadn’t given attention to. I wanted it to be here so bad that we didn’t give up. Geomum noticed a a particular detail which more or less confirmed the cache’s location. With the extraction process well underway, we eventually got the little guy out and signed the nice new and clean log. TFTC!!
After a fun day with the kids at Rocks Riverside Park I decided to stop on the way home and try three caches. We only managed to score one and this one wasn't the one. We got a blue sad face instead. We looked around as much as we could but I was rather afraid the kids would slide down the hill into the water. I wombled around like a troll and crossed over like a goat but could see nothing that looked anything like a cache. Too hard for us. Thanks anyway.
I looked here. I looked there. Up,down, on-top and underneath basically all around. Finally there it was. With a slightly tricky extraction I soon had the cache in hand. Log was very wet. But with a bag of caching supplies I soon had a new log in some protection placed inside. Awesome cache thanks for a very good hide and thoughtful cache KK
Hey KK. Just letting you know I replaced the log in a new little zippy. Awesome cache. Thanks
Pretty sure you have just become one of my favorite COs. So nice to see a thought out cache!! Doing a few of yours previously I knew it would be a fun challenge.
Log is soaked. Didnt have any paper on me to replace. Photo for proof if needed.
FP for sure

Previous log helped a lot. Unfortunately, the container was full of water and the log sodden so I couldn’t sign. I have a photo if the CO requires it. Thanks for the cache
I'll be honest, as I travel quicte a bit for work, I have not cached much locally for a while and haven't found many KK caches. I was very grateful to have NurseyJulie on hand this morning who while quite content to sit back and watch me hunt, also advised me as I went, if I was not going to find "that particulr container type" where I was looking. Hmm, ok, so the coords want me here, but the cache is not of that creation, got it... [^]
I spent a while scanning, touching, bending, lifting, pulling, pushing and really didn't have much idea on what I was looking for, but I did touch something that moved and thought aha, maybe I've got it... Sadly, even with some movement, I could not make any form of extraction, so I moved on and gave that up as a no-go for the cache. After another couple of minutes, NJ asked why I had left "that spot". With a brief explanation, she suggested I may want to try a litle harder. Oh, really...
So back I went, but still no joy and I was not going to risk breaking anything. NJ eventualy felt sorry for me and showed me the trick I had been missing with respect to getting my hands on what I wanted. Oh, right. Fair to say I probably wouldn't have done that, so would have left empty handed.
Anyway, log out, I added my name, asked NJ to also assist with the return and we headed off. This certainly gave me some insight on the cache owners sneakiness.
Thanks for testing me this morning KrispyKremers, a favourite point from me for your effort and craftiness on this one.

It feels like we've poked and prodded everything in the area, but still no cache. Sent off a message for some help so will be back soon to try again!
Happily changing our DNF to a found on the same day.
Had to message a previous finder who gave us a sneaky clue that confirmed we were definitely on the right track. Headed back just before nightfall to get this one done. Changing our target area but keeping our previous technique we had the cache in hand.
This was a bit of a case of our GPS hindering us more than helping.
Another great KrispyKremers cache!

I must confess I woke up from my 4y caching slumber the other day and immediately dismissed this one of any interest. You see, I used to be CO for a cache here so I was cache-blind to the possibilities.
Over the last week or so I have been systematically cleaning the map around my patch. This one remained as the closest to home but still not attended to. Then, yesterday the wife and I popped down to take a look whilst walking the dog. Well, it had me beat. It certainly was not the type of hide that I was expecting and I left empty handed.
So, tonight I checked back through the logs. Well, if it gets a favourite point from Stairman1 then it must be something special! Not only that, Teamtinda suggests it should be bumped up to a 4 difficulty (or higher) then I'm seriously getting interested. After dinner I made my excuses to the wife for taking another shot at it and headed down to GZ.
I won't go into the details of the hunt out of respect for the CO. Suffice to say that this is the trickiest hide I've found in a long time. And so close to home! I absolutely love it. A favourite point from 5meerkats!
