Wow, tree meets sign here was quite damaging. Luckily the cache is very much still intact and all in good condition.
I was scratching my head for a while here until I remembered I was a geocacher and soon the crafty hide was found. TFTC
Found this one while on our way to Lake Mackenzie.
The name of the cache helped us pinpoint the right spot.

Great hide! Hiding place full of ants though and cache is soaked and needs to be replaced. Couldn’t sign
One of the quick finds on my night catching with colliflowers, needs some maintenance due to water damage, as I couldn't sign the log tftc:)
Very cleaver hide took a bit but chose correctly in the end log is very damp needs replacing but still able to sign TFTC a fav point from us
Had me stumped for a little while but finally found the cache container. A little damp and subsequently log is compromised.
Hello MapsOfTassie thank you for the cache
I picked the wrong one while EeePees chose wisely.
EeePees and I were on a weekend away finding caches.
This one of yours was one of many that we found.

Hello, and thanks for the cache.
A caching weekend with AlbyDangles under the guise of having to transport 3 Venturer Scouts to a statewide camp at Arm River Camp.
Having dropped them off, we're now heading back to our cabin at Gowrie Park. Gee it's now blissfully quiet in the car.
Off course we had to stop for a cache or two.
A nice quick find once the right wise choice was made. I've never seen this type of log container used before. Oh well, variety is the spice of life.
Thanks for the adventure.
Cheers, EPs.

Note: Road In Currently Closed
As I was going to be in the area I quickly saved some caches to offline. Without reading the description I just plugged one set of co-ords in to my google maps and off I went!
Google maps took me down an unnamed road that ended up being a 4WD track (thank goodness I am in a hilux).
When arriving at GZ realised that it waa the lookout I had seen "closed" on in signs in the area.
There was a small snow flurry whilst I looked.
Returned back via the 4WD track as, due to the amount of storm debris, I suspected the main road may be blocked.
TFTC... and the lesson in doing more homework rather than point and shoot!

Heading to the North West for a few days . Grabbing a few caches along the way. What a beautiful area. We will be back tomorrow to do this full stretch. The gps was playing up but the clue was good once we figured it out. TFTC
With the cache name I suspected I knew a likely GZ as sure enough I was right so a quick find was made. Thank you maps of Tassie this was my 24th find for today.
Found it on our second attempt. Very clever hiding place. Not an easy find but the Hint is accurate
A day out with Oldsaint. The main target of the day was some GCA caches for the Blitz event. The day was a real mix with snow covered caches with more snow falling to blue sky caching. Great day out!
Found this cache while in the area looking for a GCA cache. TFTC

Out and about caching with whitewebbs on a nice autumn day and found your cache along the way.
Cache and contents were in good condition.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

At gz there were only 2 likely hiding spots so chose wisely.
Located the cache in the obvious but well hidden spot...all in top condition.
Many tftc MapsOfTassie...cheers ST.

Great spot! Took a while to find it. Didn't have a pen to sign in. Our friends from Team Tranny found it a day before us.
Co ords seemed way out but location was obvious. Replaced log book with a plastic bag as original was soaked through tftc
Took us a while but we eventually found the cache. Log was very wet though. TFTC!
Arrived at the junction and the coords were well off but with an obvious hiding location I soon made the well hidden find.
Today with the lifting to stage 2 of COVID19 restrictions almost felt like a free person again in a sense, and with geocaching you don’t seem to come across many people so this afternoon I headed out to mole creek area to collect some new caches around the area as well as pick up 2 FTFs along the way.
Total of 21 finds and 1 DNF for the afternoon.
Thanks for the cache.

Fond this one while out on a 4x4 trip today. Wasn’t too hard to work out, I have a similar hide in the south.

Heading up this way today to get some of the MTM caches so stopped for this one as well.
Our GPS had us in the middle of the intersection but it was very overcast at the time.
A quick find was still made though in the obvious place.
The log sheet was surprisingly a little damp, wouldn't have thought water would have got in to this one!!!
Thanks.

GPS took me straight over to a likely GZ, we had seen a similar hide. So a look and a quick find. Thanks
Very good! We did like the apt title of this one! TFTC MapsOfTassie!

Yesterday afternoon we sat down to work out our adventure for today. We made a couple of plans because we weren’t too sure what the weather maybe like and whether Lady membsec was up to walks or anything today. One plan was to do Devil’s Gullet as we haven’t had the time to venture up there since the earth cache was placed and if everything was good today then we had the time. Another plan was to head along the coast. Waking a little bit later today we were investigating our plans when we saw a newly published cache. (Don’t get notifications for this area) Ok, that fits in with some of our plans so after breakfast we headed off.
Well done to 2y’stassie for their ftf, they are certainly a dedicated team.....good on them. The GPSr had us in a different location but the hint helped to locate the container. Great hide and worth a favourite point.

When this cache was published in early November we were heading to Victoria. We were surprised that it still hadn't been found by the end of November and it remained a candidate to continue our FTF streak into December.
So at 22:45 last night we headed off aiming to get to the cache just after midnight. We arrived about 15 minutes after midnight and after a short search we located the cache in a familiar style of hide.
We were surprised and very disappointed that there was already an entry on the logbook claiming FTF at 5:30am on 1 December, over 5 hours AFTER we had found it. Obviously another team had found the cache before us but had entered false data to make it look like they had found the cache around sunrise on 1 December. The falsification of the log was the biggest disappointment.
As they claimed that they found the cache 5 hours after we found it, we are claiming {FTF} at 0:20am on 1 December 2019. When we get home we will add confirmation showing that we took photos of the log at 0:26am.
02:30am
Two images have now been added to this log.
1: Image of the logbook with other cacher name redacted
2: Screen shot of the details of the above photo showing data and time (cacher name redacted)
Thanks MapsOfTassie for this cache in a lovely part of the world.
