I gave up on this one after a solo 35 min search. The area around GZ was so thick that you could have been standing right next to the cache (and probably was) but couldn’t find it. As per other logs, I went as far as I could in between the lantana and fallen branches etc towards other spots to look but nada. I reckon the council has given up on this area and I decided that if I were to have an unfortunate accident while here, my body would never be found…lol. Pic is looking down at the area from the road. The scrub is higher than me!

I'm back to work tomorrow (boo) so a final geocaching outing was definitely required. Sandra and the kids stayed at home watching a movie, I headed down to Warner to put a few more smilies on the map.

A bit of a bush bash to get to this one, but there was the remains of a track that I followed towards GZ. Once stood upon the item in the hint, I felt around for the container.

Thanks!!

Was a little bit of a jungle down there, but once the GPS settled it pointed to a likely spot. Note there is what looks like a geo trail here, but that is not taking you to the right place Smile

TFTC!

Today, with family plans in the late afternoon, I thought I would make my way north-west to Draper followed by Warner, targeting a few of the tree-fishing caches. With the summer heat, I didn't want to venture too far from the vehicle's air-conditioning, and having fun with the TOTT made it an enjoyable outing. I also learned the history of Eatons Crossing; and an experience of that letterbox hybrid cache that I won't forget in a hurry!

I ended up descending down the slope, and it felt like I had a pretty decent search around the place, but alas, no luck. It was odd that I was having some trouble at these low difficulty caches, and with talk of these coordinates being slightly out, I guess I'll need to return another day. Thanks anyway Thetrashhunters for the cache placement.

Found myself in the vicinity of this cache and as I had to walk right past the hide decided I could afford a few minutes while chugging down water. I don't like using the phone when GPSing as the accuracy is questionable. While flattening down the grass where I had GZ, broadened the search area and found the cache at another likely spot. Thanks Thetrashhunters for maintaining this cache.

11-Mar-21
The growth was certainly on today!! And with the rain we’ve had - and are having as I search - it’s no wonder. Despite knowing this was a park, it felt uncomfortably like private property and I had to keep convincing myself I was allowed to be here!! Quick find at GZ thanks to being with a previous folder. Everything was in good condition.
TFTC, Thetrashhunters. =^.^=

13-Feb-21
After much looking and poking, I found the cache just about where the hint said. My GPSr said it was some nine metres from the given location. I was getting ready to call you lots of names when I came across the hide. Reluctantly, I decided it was a pretty good hide. Thanks for the cache, and especially the hint. That really made the difference.

25-Jan-21
It was a little way away from where the navigator was suggesting so broaden your area a bit if you can't find it! The hint helped a lot!

20-Jan-21
After collecting a couple of nearby caches I figured as it was such a lovely evening I would walk up to collect the other 2 caches in the area.
This cache was quickly found after negotiating my way to gz. Log signed and cache replaced as found
Thanks for the cache thetrashhunters.

Nice quick find here. No noisy dogs today!

First cache of the day!

Wow lots of GPS bounce for me this morning. I only had success when I put down the GPS, read the description, used the hint, and my geocaching sixth sense. Ah there it is! Quite embarrassing how long it took me to find such an easy cache, oops!

Cache and log are in good condition. Log signing duties done, and cache returned as found to its little hidey hole. No noisy dogs were found today, but plenty of blue skies, sunshine and beautiful trees. Thanks for taking m to this beautiful little corner of the world.

TFTC. TB visits.

Gentle cache owner, please forgive my generic log Twisted

Pprime, Crew 153, 1MinnieMoo and I undertook to get a large amount of caches in one day. We did this in the the Toowoomba region - starting with Brother Colin's SSE series. After returning to Brisbane, 1MinnieMoo and I continued to find caches until late.

We enjoyed all the caches and appreciate the effort of creating and maintaining the various finds we made. TFTC Smile

7/1/20 4:08 pm Find #3154
I’ve made it a last minute decision this year to see if I can fill my traditional calendar for the Stats Hound Challenge. There’s only about 52 days left to fill throughout the course of the year, so that shouldn’t be too difficult one would think, although life does have a habit of getting in the way.
All of a sudden remembering today is one of those blank trad days, I decided I’d detour on my shopping journey and find myself a cache. Which led me to here.
Pulling up the car, I looked over. Hmmm T1.5? Right, a wander over that way first then back methinks!
It didn’t take long to get along, down and back to where GZ was, and only a brief moment later and I had cache in hand.
Thanks for the cache Thetrashhunters.

Our coords were off. Reread the hint altered our search and soon had the cache in hand. Tftc

The time has come to get back into caching after my hip replacement 5 weeks ago.
A FTF a few days ago was our return to caching in our own right & today we decided to push the boundaries a little.
Still several months of rehab & physio before things are 100% (or as close as they'll get) so slowly, slowly ...

#4 of 13 caches found today & it was a BLAST! Wink
So many possibilities here (with a wandering compass) that this one almost had us stumped but Mrs VC took the lead & soon had the cache in hand.
No noisy dogs present here today.

Made our mark & replaced as found.

On a roll with Potatochips101 caching smilies.
In between showers we headed to GZ ... but with my phone sending me in circles potatochips101 bested me yet again! After swatting away ants the cache was signed and quickly returned. We were lucky enough to watch a family of ducks making the most of the rain.
Logged as 3K. TFTC

Found between visits to different family members during the Christmas day gatherings. but of cause if there is an unattempted geocache on the way well you have to stop. anyway the cache was found after a search around the GZ several time only to find it in the first object I looked at. may be a bit too much Christmas cheer. TFTC.

I'm glad you said in the cache notes this was a park because I always thought it was part of someones yard.
With this new info I didn't feel concerned going down and searching for the cache.
Found it after a short hunt around.

Today T-Tech and I had breakfast at Samford, then took the drive over to grab these four new caches. It was pretty hot already, so we made them all drive-by finds, and enjoyed the air conditioning.

We parked in Barker St and wandered down to the right spot. Spent a minute looking for the Nosiy Dog sign, but didn't see it. T-Tech made the find. TFTC, Thetrashhunters.

Focussed too much on locating the sign instead of the obvious. Ah geocaching. The game of Russian Roulette, sticking your hand in places where there may be other residents! Tftc Thetrashhunters
