Unfortunately this cache keeps going missing. 3-4 times now. This is a very high muggle location and under constant video surveillance. A busy restaurant and school overlook the cache GZ.

After consultation with a fellow more experienced cacher friend, the best action to take here is to Archive. Perhaps I will find a better location and bring this one back to life sometime in the future.

Checked on it today. This one has gone again! Will have to rethink this one.

My eyes don't seem to be tuned to OSHAM's caches today -- perhaps it's time to ride home...

23-Jun-20
Had a reasonable look in the obvious without hanging around too long.

Spiffy- and I originally went out for a few bayside caches. Afew muggles but all good.

Thanks to OSHFAM for the placement and fun.

Found at 11:31 am.
Fleabag- and I had a couple of spare hours this morning so headed out for a drive with our main goal of needing a virtual in May so luckily the restrictions had been lifted before the end of the month. A bit windy and chilly but a lot of bike riding MAMILS around this morning but they were looking too fast and cool to worry about what we were doing.
A few people around today even though it was cold but I managed to spot something while sitting looking through the gaps.
Thanks OSHFAM for the cache, the adventure, the hunt and the fun.

On the way back from the local farmers market I decided to do a bit of caching on my way back home. Great hide OSHFAM, another great cache. Thank you.

TrailStevo and I parked up in Parkdale and spied a 10km loop taking us on a walk up into mentone collecting a few cache and back to the car. Such a busy place on a Saturday night, people all over the place a we tried to blend in as dog walkers. Managed to cover the 10km and close to double figure finds i think, with one DNF, and a night cache that we had a crack at but didn't have the UV with me. next time.
Took us longer than it should but then the ah ha moment.
Thank OSHFAM for this hide..

Before the real craziness began, I was having lunch nearby with family and friends. Geocaching came up in conversation and I checked to find this one very close by. We wandered out and soon had this one in hand. Signed my name first on the clean new log sheet. Thanks for the cache, OSHFAM.

I have replaced the container here with a stand in cache for now to see how long it lasts before I commit to spending another $25 on the original cache container here.
It’s still themed made of plastic unlike the original which was an actual silverware receptacle.

This is a very high muggle area, particularly in the early to late evening with the new eatery directly opposite opening up recently. Kids love playing on the grass area.

UGHHHH - Muggled!

This one cost me $25. Not sure if I'll buy another one or just replace with something less valuable. Annoyed!

Thanks! Great spot. Def stealth required but possible

Maintenance Run for the New Year.

Found cache in incorrect location. Moved it back into its correct GZ.

This is a high muggle zone even well into the night since the new restaurant opened overlooking the GZ.
Please take care here.

On our way back from a visit to Bunnings we stopped by here to pick up a NYE souvenir. This will be our last find for 2019. TFTC OSHFAM

TFTC OSHFAM!
great hide & suitably regal cache- although some difficulty accessing the silverware itself.
Returned to it’s hidey hole.

Another Genius cache. Came out close to midnight on my way home. Every time I come to visit from Queensland there are another few cache from OSHFAM. I love it. I even managed to get a couple of small swaps inside the cute container. Thanks.

We were nearby tackling the Night Cache, and decided to try our luck on a number of caches around here which are difficult due to high muggle zones. So even at ridiculous late hours, stealth is still required. Found your beautifully crafted themed cache container. TFTC OSHFAM.

Oops sorry, forgot to put this one back in play after the garden party.

All good to go here again

Temporarily Disabling this one.

Came across council workers yesterday who informed me there will be a Garden Party here on Friday 29/11/19 from 3pm-8pm.

The area the cache is in also houses electrical lighting cables which the council will access to light up the area. The cache does not interfere with this, however, due to the high numbers of muggles expected here, I don’t want my cache to be muggled.

I will return the cache on Saturday 30/11 after the garden party conclusion.

The Coffee Palace might not sell coffee any more but there are many other cafes in the area today to chose from for a caffeine hit .. I worked out where the cache was and took a seat waiting for muggles to disappear .. it sure is Muggle town!!! What a cute little cache. thanks OSHFAM for placing the cache and sharing a snippet of local history

This one is not too far away from my daily commute so on a sunny afternoon I decided to stop by and see if I could chalk down a find for the week. They have done a nice job in this area and it's certainly a lot more pedestrian friendly that it used to be. I'm aware of the modern facilities near here but I must admit I didn't know the history of the coffee palace. Moving to Melbourne has made me a coffee lover for sure so it was great to tick this one off today. I was able to search between passing foot traffic and it didn't take too long to have the cache in hand here. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackables. Thanks for the cache OSHFAM.

We found The Coffee Palace on our Sunday afternoon.

We had a wee look and unfortunately some of the apparatus of the seats came away. I spent a few good minutes trying to reattach the lighting before I spied the cache and its novel accompaniment.

Thanks OSHFAM for placing this cache and being a part of out geocaching adventure

What an amazing little cache. I had to be careful as it was a little bit muggly here on a Saturday morning.
I found a pen at GZ. I'll take it to the event I'm now headed for in Dandenong as the owner may be there.
Fav point from me.

Thanks for the fun OSHFAM

#`1640 Just happened to spot this email about 10 mins after it came through. Nice and local, I may be up for a FTF?? or should I keep it for a P366 day of which there are a couple coming up shortly. In the end I decided a FTF attempt would be the way to go. Arrived at GZ to find a gathering happening, too quiet to be extinction rebellion protesters, must be cachers. Got to put a few names and faces together, loved the Cache container. TNLNSL. TFTC OSHFAM.

Passing through on my way to Braeside and spotted a mini event happening here.
Dropped in for a coffee but the palace was closed, some time ago.
Thanks for bringing us all together for a brew tonight OSHFAM.

*Smiley # 10004.*
*Cache find # 9959 + 45 Lab Caches.*

Joint {FTF} with 4bait & Mark9375.
I noticed this one as it was nearly time to hit the sack, what should I do so I went for a drive.
Sitting around at GZ having a bit of a read on the history that I didn't know about when 4bait & Mark9375 turned up.
We started looking around and shortly after the log was signed.
Others started turning up after that for a mini event.

**Thanks to OSHFAM for placing this cache and the history lesson.**

Joint Ftf with Mark9375 and stemicmitsar, 9:52pm 10/10/19.
The notification came through and we ummed and ard whether or not to go out. It was only 4km away so the erge was too great. We spent a few minutes doing stuff then grabbed a torch and headed off, apon arrival stemicmitsar was sitting on the bench looking at his phone. We all started searching and the cute cache was soon in hand. We had just put it back when more cachers arrived. Had a breif catch up with them and headed back home. Thanks for bringing us back here to an area we grew up in TFTC
