DNF at 10:47 AM. This place has changed so much since the last time we were here which was in Feb 2010 - looks fantastic, but there is no sign of the cache.
Found after a stroll in heavy drizzle. Falls still magnificent

The name of the cache suggested a certain form factor, but this one was smaller than expected. Similar modus operandi, though, and the cache was soon in hand.
I often find that rolling the log back up again can take longer than finding the cache and writing on the log! No-one around so it didn't matter.
The waterfall is spectacular from both above and below.

This was part of my road trip up the NSW coast. So many lovely creeks and waterfalls up here. I decided to hunt for this cache on the way down to investigate if I wanted to have a swim. I read the previous logs and knew it was going to be a funny looking and small 'tin' but I still had to check the same spots a couple of times before my fingers grasped it. TFTC Raz13

Quick find had here. Not what I thought it would be. I was rolling the log back up when Olivermuffin came along from Ireland and we had a chat and I returned the cache where I found it.

Came across mystery sleuth who was discretely concealing the log. But not discretely enough! Fun to meet another cacher. Tftc
We are in a Roadtrip from Sydney to Brisbane, mostly coastal routes, but took this waterfall way for a change of scenery. Parked our RV on the camping nearby and strolled along to see the Dangar falls and do some geocaching. I love earthcaches (if there is time), learning about geology is so interesting! Of course had findings the second traditional as well (always a bit scary, feeling around for geocaches in Australia, not knowing what scary reptile/ arachnoid is hiding..).
Many thanks for these two lovely caches!

Definitely smaller than the hint suggests. A nice pause before the down… and all the up!
We've been holidaying down in Coffs Harbour for the week. When we've been able to get to geomonsters out of the pool at the resort, we've been out and about exploring this beautiful part of the world.
Today we decided to head inland and visit a couple of waterfalls. The plan was to go via the Eastern Dorrigo Way to Danger Falls then through Dorrigo to the Crystal Shower Falls, Sherrard Falls and Newell Falls then back to Coffs Harbour.
All was well, driving through some stunning scenery, then from somewhere past Ulong the tarmac stopped, and the gravel started. And went on and on and on. If you had a proper car this road, with its tight curves and bends could be great fun to drive. We have a boring car, so although I enjoyed the drive and having to concentrate to keep us on the 'road', the family soon got fed up.
We eventually reached Danger Falls and whilst I took some long exposure photos of the falls, the family went for a wander. This was a nice quick find by Sandra and the geomonsters.
This was number 33 for our trip.
Thanks!!

Love the area, fav point for that. Have done the earth cache previously, left this at the time for some reason but not sure why now. Like the view from here but prefer the one at the bottom. Too cold to swim for me but others were taking a short dip. Now it's time for lunch. Tftc
Came to look at the falls had checked and knew there were two caches here but forgot this one. Had just finished lunch when I realized so had to go back for it. Found something smaller than an eclipse.
Thanks for the hide

The falls area was recently upgraded- I wonder if it is still in place?

Staying in Dorrigo for a couple of nights and today we cached around town and to the east. Lovely weather, some tricky hides and great spots visited - thanks to the local COs - you certainly have a range of hides!
The falls were showing off today - great spot to visit.

Out and about, caching around Dorrigo today. Thoroughly enjoyed the various caches and locations, especially along the Biessdown River. A credit to all the CO's. Found cache and signed log. TFTC Raz13 Enjoyed the walk down to GZ after looking at the waterfall near carpark lookout platform
Found on a weekend caravaning holiday at dorrigo with Anissa288 and 4 geocollies

Thank you to previous finder advising no longer a mint tin. Not much room for mints in this one TFTC. Nice big python to top it off w Roklyf
Should be renamed Nano at the falls, it's no longer a mint tin. Cache log was found in good condition.

Nice and easy. My it’s beautiful here.

This was Dorrigo Day, as that was the area we concentrated on for caching with ilook4geo. This was one of the caches we found as we roamed the area. The area was barricaded off and access was technically unavailable, but we managed to make the find anyway. Each cache we found had its log signed with both names and was put back as it had been found before we moved on to continue the hunt. Thank you to Raz13 for adding to our caching fun for the day.
Enjoyed some caching around Dorrigo area with goingplaces2. Found a variety of caches and had some fun along the way. Got around this situation OK. TFTC.
Wasn't even thinking and forgot a pen. The missus wouldn't let me run back and get it.
We spent the day at Never Never River and dropped into Dangar Falls on the way home. Had aw quick swim too. The water was beautiful.

Kid was very proud that he was able to find such a small cache. Agreed that it was cute. Thanks
Surprisingly there were plenty of muggles at the falls today despite it being windy and rainy.
Fortunately I found the cache quickly. My main problem was getting my pen to work so all I managed was a illegible scrawl as a signature on the log.
I collected the last of my Memory Lane souvenirs with this cache.

Wow things have changed around here. When I worked in dorrigo in 1994 after my last day before heading to Queensland I came for a walk here. Severely injured my ankle as there wasn’t a proper path. Now I think I probably broke it but when I went to the hospital they said they didn’t do X-rays so I just went back to my accomodation and watched the commonwealth games and it got better over 4 weeks. Now there is tar and boardwalks. Cache quickly found after I read the clue.

Found a lot easier then the last geo cache that was here that I couldn't find on 3 attemts tftc.
We're staying in Dorrigo this week and today we spent some time checking out the local sights, including Dangar Falls. My snuggle muggle, who has mobility issues, was disappointed that the observation deck up top is being repaired/rebuilt, but at least I was able to make the trek down to the bottom in order to see the Falls. Naturally, I took the opportunity to grab this nano as I went past.
Thanks for the hide Raz13.

A visitor to Dorrigo could well consider their visit a fail without venturing to Dangar Falls, so naturally after having a cold refresher at the local watering hole we made our way here. There were plenty of visitors when we arrived, however by the time we left it was a little quieter as it was apparent that storms were approaching. Regardless, we took the time at the bottom for a drink and a quick swim (Lord was it cold!) before heading back. Along the way I made sure to find this cache. It was somewhat smaller than I expected from the title but was found easily never the less.
Our thanks to Raz13 for the cache here adding to our enjoyment of the spot.

We were passing through a map of yellow Dorrigo smilies.... except one. This one. So we swung off in town and made a beeline for the Falls. We knew where to go because we've been here before. It was lucky we had as there was no viewing from the top today. It was fenced off while work was being done.
Off along the path to the lower falls we ambled to track down the cache. Being late in the afternoon and looking like rain must have cleared the viewers.. the only others we saw were heading back to their cars. It took a bit of fiddling but we finally got a hand on the cache. TFTC Raz13.

Back up the mountain for another day of caching. We arrived at GZ and as we sat down a family with a dog came round the corner. So we said "Just go through" and they said that they were heading to the same spot. Turns out it was ALFIE77, what are the chances!! After a bit of a chat the log signing duties were done and cache replaced. Also found in the company of AT, log signed BGAT to save space.
Had to keep moving to let muggles past lol Took some hunting but we got there!
After an awesome weekend of caching with some great friends from the Canberra caching crew (Onieferret, Barb2E, Smittengranny, Joolay, K8TYBEE, Kittykatch and GLISS!) K8TYBEE, GLISS! and I peeled off for another week of fun travelling around Northern NSW gathering as many counties as was humanly possible. Have managed to clear up much of the state! Thanks so much for all the fun. Thanks for the cache!

Avoiding Covid places and needing a time out from work so hitched a ride with Nibletricecakes and GLISS! armed with hand sanitiser and face masks, we went touring NSW collecting counties.
We started in Canberra and spent a weekend in Bathurst with the capital crunchers then continued on North and West before heading home again. TFTC!

EJCat and I had a great time here and loved seeing this out-of-the-way place because of geocaching! Thanks Raz13 for bringing us here.
Dangar Falls is my better halfs "most favourite place in the world" so of course whilst travelling up to QLD we had to make trhe detour out here.
Found quickly on the way down after sitting down and waiting for a few streams of muggles to pass by.
Its my 3rd time here and it's still a lovely place to visit/swim
