Logs
We did find this one today, well bits of it anyway. We contacted the CO to verify but have not heard back happy to edit my log if needed. I wonder if CO is still caching? This definitely needs attention.TFTC
Out work himself and get dog on a blustery winters morning for some light caching. TFTC. Quick find. Great camo. But nothing that would twist with my fingers.
1270 for the tribeG'day from across the ditch! The tribe are on a caching adventure in Auckland for a few days targetting our DT grid, some very old caches and some very favourited caches, and of course enjoying the amazing natural beauty ofNew Zealand The quality of the caches in this neck of the woods really is something special. Some amazing camouflage and some real time and effort has gone into many of the hides we found today. Also stunningly beautiful coastline here with some amazing lava formations.A big thank you to the CO for placing and maintaining this cache and for bringing the tribe here. We had the best day.
After my choir rehearsal at St Georges Church in Takapuna ([here is the link to our upcoming concert next Thursday - you should come and watch!](https://www.aaf.co.nz/event/waiata-mai)), I was having a nice time on my walk and continued on to this cache. I'll admit I have been here to look for it before, back when I was a very very new geocacher and had no idea caches could be hidden like this. Today I walked straight up and found it instantly. Has it always been there, or is it just more obvious now? I'm not sure but I was happy to walk away with the smiley now. Thank you for the cache!(#2146)
I'm down in Auckland for a geocaching weekend with Yvettetb. It was her birthday yesterday and I wanted some cache numbers to bring my December finds up. Hence a plan was made to hit Auckland.Yesterday we did the walks in Long Bay Regional Park. We walked 18.7kms and got 30 caches (including AdLabs). Todays plan was to cache around Lake Pupuke where we got 27 caches and did 10.8kms of walking. Another neat hide. We couldn't twist anything to reveal a log and wondered if that part is missing or just needing crc. Thanks for the hide
Another great cache thanks majaby, unfortunately I think the twist part of the cache may be missing. A quick find at GZ.Day two of my birthday long weekend and what better way to celebrate than by going geocaching with Lis's Crew. What are great summers day for caching in/around Milford.
I like these plain sight caches, no weird fossiking around looking like a weird person!A strong tool is required to extract the log which my car lacked. So I couldnt extract the log on this one.
I had to call into Takapuna briefly for work this afternoon, then TheLandGirl and I took the opportunity to walk to Milford and back again, finding a few caches along the way. Immediately spotted the cache at GZ but suspect that the logsheet may now be missing, couldn't get anything else to budge within the cache. TFTC!
Found with Vistra bit struggled with accessing the logbook. Took photo which I can send to the CO if necessary. Tftc
An afternoon in Takapuna whilst my partner caught up with friends...
Another double-digit favourite cache along this stretch of road.
Having parked up close by and prepared myself for a fossick in the bushes I was drawn to another object closer to where my GPS zerod out.
Yep, that'll be it, but there's less of a 'twist' now.
Could use a CO check!
Thanks majaby

Found the shell but couldn't see the logbook tried twisting but didn't work. Maybe you need a wrench or I'm just being silly. TFTC anyway!
I am on a misssion to find as many 10+-FP-caches for the current wheel of challenges today. Spotted immediately on approaching. If there once was a twist to get to the log, then it gone by now. All nice and dry here. Cool construction. FP given.

I came here on a bit of a caching frenzy. I need caches that have 10+ FP's for the challenge HQ have presented to us for the month of May.
So may places... I checked one place only and found the cache there. Don't understand the hint about the twist? Perhaps the C.O can enlighten me. Anyway, the paper was full so I have replaced it with new paper. Thanks for bringing me here majaby.

Not sure as per comments below if I found the real cache as I didn't need a wrench to log in the log book. Cool cache
Staying just across the road, nice easy find, a lot of foot traffic this evening.
TFTC.

Sneaky indeed… but I’ve seen enough of these to not be fooled. A surprisingly quick find early in the morning. Thanks!
Beautiful day to do a spot if caching along the Milford beach, we stopped for lunch & now heading back to car.

Nice quick find - which was good because lots of cars and people around. Log definitely needs attention as just fell out as geokid grabbed the cache. TFTP .
Very quick find by my caching buddy PG. Which is good because we are feeling very conspicuous in the spot. All in good order, tftc
No log, so have replaced a piece of paper but no waterproofing so may not last. Tftc
Found it but my fingers aren't strong enough...will bring a wrench next time.
M24: another creative cache, however the log is full and is in need of maintenance. TFTC.
A nice quick find. A sneaky spot for the log though. Thanks for placing your cache.
I'm in Auckland and I am exploring the region while I am based here. Today was another lovely sunny day. No biking today, just wandering and driving around. I had a great time.
Thanks to all CO's for publishing and maintaining their caches. Cheers.

14 of 23 caches today, and these 23 caches were not the intended target for today. originally we had planned to drive to Mangawhai to team up with a whole lot of cachers from Whangarei to complete the cliff walk series this has now been postponed to July due to the weather report from last night however I feel that the weather is better today then forecast.
spotted this on approach.
