A person found this one a month ago and said that is not at the base and has good camouflage. I couldn't find it though.
You’re kidding me! I couldn’t find despite there only bring two places that match the hint. Darn and drat.
It took a bit of finding in the long grass.
Love the farmers sign.
Thanks for setting this up

2 deg was on strike hereso some guess work was required..plenty of parking nah not for a motorhome..any way found the typical Bitsprayer hide thanks for bringing this to my attention it would be wise to download the info before attempting this one
I had no coverage here but there was a marker. We stopped close by to check out the beautiful sign and off course there was a cache to be found. No DOC sign that I could see. Thanks for bringing us here bitsprayer
Needed to go and do some maintenance on Lomond Waltz in Naseby so decided to have bit of a raod trip and actully find a few caches (which we haven't done for a while). Just some easy park and grabs to get back into it. TFTC
Had to rely on the GPS signal, as I hadn't downloaded the info for this cache. Started looking in the wrong location, as there is a cool sign here. Ground was quite soggy after recent rain. Once I trusted the GPS, I soon found the well hidden cache with Flamingo4850. TFTC.
Nice quick park and grab here. I had a meeting scheduled very soon so thought I would park here for it but no reception so I headed on up to the crest of the hill and sat there for an hour for the meeting. TFTC # 17,172
On my roadie through central, parked up the grass was not too sodden which was good. No time for a 11km walk today. Quick find then off along the road again, cache all good. Tftc
Second find of the day on a caching "Dawn Raid" to Naseby/Ranfurly area. Beautiful day forecast but fog all the way from Dunedin and in patches on the Pigroot. I have never seen that sign before. TFTC.
Went out today with the aim of changing green boxes on the map to yellow, but unfortunately a few blue popped up too. Most of our finds were nice and simple, but a few took a bit of time.
This was the first for today and the outer limit of today's plan. A nice quick find here. May have to come back one day and do the walk. tftc

To be fair, it was not exactly obvious that there was a tramp here.
Cheers and thanks,

The "closed for lambing" sign is still up. The cache is in good nick. Thanks for highlighting this access point.
On way to our holiday destination and wanted to grab a cache or two on the way... this one is at the start of my bro in-laws farm so how could I not grab it! Plus the family agreed to the stop! TFTC
A quick easy find at the start of the track, which currently is closed for lambing. A nice sign for the station name. TFTC
A nice quick find today. Cheers.
And now it is time to head home. Today we started from Alexandra, and travelled through the Pig Root. Once we hit SH 1 No caching! (As there re none left)
Thanks to all CO's for placing and maintaining their caches. Cheers

I have driven along here many a time without seeing the DOC sign. Might have tramp the track one day. Parking area (grass) was a potential mud trap so stayed well clear. Tftc
Picking up all the new caches that have popped up since last time we were through here. Oh dear, biking access? Mr D looked interested....
FTF at 6.30. It looked like it was going to be an inside day again and I was bored.
A trip was called for saw this one was still unfounded, that quickly sorted out which way I was going, drove out of the drizzle and into some fog over the hills but the road was dry!
Saw a large sign and yes!
Thanks.
