Too much gorse to handle. Had a decent poke around. Hint was clear but still dnf
Was out this way today heading out to Beachlands for a little function, and found myself with a little time to locate some caches needing to become smilies.....came at this one from the new subdivision and soon had things in hand...lid of the cache missing, but all seems good here.TFTC.
The Wade walkway caught my eye yesterday to go for a nice walk. Also I was also heading for any unsolved mysteries on the way. This is not on the Walkway but was near enough to go and sign the logsheet.Cheers for the cache, tramyard.

Passing through the area and grabbed this one along the way. Nice quick find here and then we were on our way. TFTC

What a great footbridge! Thanks for the quick find - beware the pricked though . TFTC
Out around Auckland picking up a pile of caches for a countdown to my 10,000th cache in a week or so, hopefully on Mnt Ruapehu at one of the huts.
Heading back from Maraetai for an ad lab, I couldn't resist seeing this cache. It is soo hot today, Luckily I remembered to bring along my sunhat, or I'd be suffering from heat stroke! I parked up next to where the houses are getting built and walked 60m or so to GZ. If ever I come back here, I won't recognise the area, it'll all be in houses.
No issues with the cache, all nice and dry tramyard.

We just realised we have found this series but not logged it. We do remember it being stinking hot so we have logged it as 12 months ago as our best guess. This was our last find on this day
M49, M12 and M23 decided to go on a we biking hiking adventure today and nab a few caches on the way #5 done.

After doing the nearby Alice caches we still had some time to collect a couple more. We have driven past here alot and I have often wondered if there was any cache on the walkway that I could spot from the car window. Turns out there is. So we decided to see if we could find it. A quick find for us.
After a walk along the Wades Walkway I called in to the café nearby to grab a drink, it was drizzling quite steadily now so a few minutes to wait it out was in order. It proved just the right time to take shelter and by the time my drink was made the worst was over. It was a short walk from there to make a quick find of this cache, all good here. TFTC.
Needed a cache to fill the a dot day today but had forgotten all about it. Arrived home from grocery shopping when I remembered and looked at where might be ‘close’ to run out again to and this seemed to be the one.
Whilst waiting for the traffic to pass so I could cross the road I saw Mr NZ Travellers driving home! He checked I was ok which of course I was and I soon had the cache in hand. It’s exactly where the hint says it will be.
Took me longer to cross the road back to my car then it did to make the short walk both ways, find and sign the log.
Thanks for the cache.

Found it!! Was hard at the start just had to go for a walk to refresh our searching skills. The hint helped just had to look around a bit!
5th find of the day. Nice quick find whilst waiting to meet some friends at The Stables for a post caching beer. TFTC.
Our last cache of the day after a morning caching at Beachlands and Maraetai and a quick visit to the CITO at Duders
Heading home from the CITO event in Duders Regional park, we stopped to collect a few caches on the way home. A quick find here with the hint. We did check out a real pinecone before finding the real cache.
Was out for a walk near Whitford today, stopped here on the way home. Nothing found where the hint suggested. Read a few logs, then an easy find. Signed and replaced where found. Perhaps just a little cache creep. That's not saying the cache is a creep. Oh, words. All good here. TFTC
The cache was lying on the ground - not sure if this is right. Lucky it hadn't washed away!
TFTC. Nicely camped container. The walkway is fantastic. Notso sure about the location description though,as with previous log first seems more appropriate.
Made plans with tramyard to head out this way and tackle the Wotties and then over to Beachlands for the geotour caches.
We were heading back to Wattle Downs to continue the Wotties series but stopped here to claim a find on this cache. The CO stood back while I had my hand on the cache straight away. Then it was time for a fresh fruit ice-cream.

Got here early before anybody was about. Nice quick find on a great new walkway. TFTC
Took 3 of us a while....
Crawled into really narrow places.
Finally nette found it...in a place we'd both felt before...but not far enough.
Phew...thanks tramyard!

Found on a nice walk at dusk along this new bridge.
Seems a bit odd that there isn't a way to get from here to the nearby playground without having to cross the road twice, but maybe that's a future project.
There was no one in sight so we made a quick find and then explored the pathways around the new subdivision. Thanks tramyard for bringing us here.

Find number 6139. After completing the caches for the Geotour we were heading home so decided to grab this newish cache. Managed to park nearby and a little search had the cache in hand. Will be different once the subdivision is built on. Thank you for the placement.
A day in Auckland
To pick up some TMGT series
Had to pick up some as we were in the area
on our way Home

Saw this one released early morning and thought if it was still not claimed would attempt on the way to work.
Having already been around this new area I knew exactly where to drive to and park to make easy access to the cache.
A quick walk and a second interruption of the clue and I had the cache in hand. A clean log sheet was my reward.
{FTF} 239 for Team NZTravellers.
