Sounds like the spider is not in good shape and I don't have any more so will archive and free this spot up.
Could do with some maintenance. The log is full, and someone is feeling a bit legless. TFTC.
Pretty easy as long as you approach from the right angle since it has bright paint
Found this one with strigops on the way home from Gribblehirst Park. I reckon we did this one properly - in the dark by torchlight, so we got the full spooky experience No surprises with the hiding spot, but the container wasn't what I was expecting and it was so nice to see the extra effort that went into it. Well deserving of a favourite point! The log is full, but we managed to both squish in our names. All dry though, and still spooky. Thanks for the cache!
Definitely lives up to it's name, this is definitely a spooky find Finding in the dark with lumin298 added to the atmosphere even more!
p.s. signed with my real name as this is before I picked a nickname :p

I'll admit that I opened the box a little to scared and audibly screamed at the spider because I hate bugs. Very cool and creative and even jotted my name down. Shot.
Travelled up to Auckland for the Mega this weekend and to visit our daughter. Spent the morning in Western Springs Park collecting some local caches. Enjoyed this cache. Cache and log all fine. Thanks Tuolei for the smiley.
Somehow fell for one of the oldest tricks in the box. Log is very close to full. TFTC and the surprise.
Have heard good things about this cache, and made sure to make a stop by here on my way home this morning. Approached from down the hill, and had to wait for a passing muggle. Thankfully, not too many cars traveling by, as I know how busy this location can get when the traffic has stopped.
A nice surprise was had when I opened the cache. I note that the log is almost full. Thanks for the 'scare'.

With no trick or treating possible this year, for Halloween I was recommended this cache to bring the kids to as an alternative spooooooky activity. It certainly didn’t disappoint and Mini & Micro had the intended reaction to this frightful cache! The guardian is starting to look a little worse-for-wear, but still had the desired effect on my two. Thanks for all your caches Tuolei! And in particular, thanks for this trick & treat of a cache! Fav point added.
What a great little - it made the kids scream!

This one would be so much fun to find at Halloween. My husband’s scream gave me more of a fright than the spooky contents - ha ha. Thanks for the fab cache.
I had some spare time this morning so I headed out to find a few caches. Nice one! I had an idea what might be involved here but I still had an involuntary jump when I opened the cache. TFTC, Biggles.
This was on my way past as I cached randomly through the area, and with a high amount of FPs was sure to be visited by me. Parked just down the hill and headed up the slippery grass to GZ. Timing my extraction with passing traffic was tricky, but achievable. Nice camo and work here means another FP from me, one more to come for the last tuolei cache of the day too (I am a football fan though).
Another weekend caching day and with a forecast of heavy rain and high winds had mrs capperz suggesting another solo trip out for me if I wanted whilst she continues with the knitting task. So, for a change, I decided to 'cash in' some of my solved puzzles and anything else around just for a couple of hours this morning, thinking it would be a little quieter out and about (it was). Got a few of tuolei's special hides as well as a few others here and there, a few FPs given out too, nice. Many thanks to all COs for their efforts all around.

After being momentarily distracted by a nearby Munzee we refocused on finding this cache and were very pleased we did. We had an idea as to what it would be but this exceeded our expectations, and gave us a little fright as well.
Very nicely constructed and still in great condition.
Thanks tuolei for a spooky end to our day.

I'm just going to give this one a favourite point and say no more. Well, except perhaps to say I was quite surprised by what I found. Thanks for the hide !
Awesome to find, spider webs covered the entrance witch was fitting for the name. The little surprise freaked my sister out!
Just as well no one was around to hear my language when I opened the cache to sign the log book. As with all this CO's caches, the cache container is great. Easy fav point here. TFTC
Cycling to Warehouse Stationery to pick up a photo, so stopped here to find this one. My heart was already pumping before I opened the cache container ! Cleverly constructed cache container. TFTC.
Out and about for a few hours of cache detection on this overcast Spring afternoon. I parked up on the side street and climbed up the step bank to get to the guardrail in question. Cache was found exactly where I expected it to be. Kinda saw the surprise coming, but I appreciate the effort nonetheless. Cheers for the creative cache placement!
Super cute! I thought I might need tweezers to get the log book out but a sharp stick did the job! Very busy location but people are zipping by so fast it’s not really a problem. Thanks for the cache and bringing a smile
Brief visit in the area to get Auckland newest Earthcache for my milestone. Needed just two finds before it. It was one of them. Haha! Spooky , creepy , lovely hide! Well done! You`ve got me here
I had to put in a new container - unfortunately a large piece of swag had been added to the box that broke the old one. Please don't add swag to the cache.
Due to the government ordered Covid-19 lockdown, I will be doing my bit to #slowthespread. From 11.59pm on Wednesday 25 March 2020, I will not be accepting any Found logs on any of my geocaches, until the Level 4 Alert is lifted.
Please do not embarrass yourself, your hobby and your country by thinking that geocaching is essential - it is not.
If you would like a geocaching related activity to do while you are observing the lockdown, I welcome messages about how to solve my puzzle caches - I am happy to give hints and tutorials so you have lots of new caches to find when this is over.

Nice cache visited with woolwood9 today.
Stamped logs as tm/ww NZ which may just look like a black smudge on plastic logs!
*Another good pretty quick find on a busy day hunting caches in the area, we really enjoyed the drive / walk around.
TFTC
ww9 did not enjoy this one!!

"First think of a person who lives in disguise,
Who deals in secrets and tells naught but lies.
Next, tell me what's always the last thing to mend,
The middle of middle and end of end?
And finally give me the sound often heard
During the search for a hard-to-find word?
Now string them together, and answer me this,
Which creature would you be unwilling to kiss?"
Great cache container! TFTC.
