A great cache and easy to locate. The container is in need of replacement, unfortunately I didn't have one with me.
Love learning the names of small towns and passing through, thanks for the rest stop and TFTC!
Log is very wet.

GT37 found this quickly as it is on the ground so we made it a little less conspicuous. Thanks for placing the cache for us to find.

We spent a about 10 days on the road with aqau caching around St Arnaud, Ballarat and Daylesford areas.

We are heading back from Swan Hill after doing the fireworks for the show there and with no real commitments today we decided to take a more scenic way home and grab a few caches.
We were doing a bit of a loop around the Central Goldfields picking up adventure labs and anything else that popped up on screen
We happily managed to locate three of this little series this afternoon, all were nice easy finds right where the GPSr was pointing and the log books now all contain our name.
We did what the cache pages said and took note of the towns names, Even though we are not sure when we will be back to finish the series or if the information will be useful in the future but if it is we are ready.
Thanks Becca85 for the cache.

An extra night in St Arnaud with BettyBoo3747 and the geodoggies.
We had planned to do the bike ride AdLab north of St Arnaud, but the weather was crap.
So we drove a loop and did some other AdLabs jumping in and out of the car.
Are you sure there is a town here, or did you just make up that name?
Thanks, Robmc.

#20336. Day 23 of our holiday in SA/Vic. Our last day - based at St Arnaud and our plan of riding around here was changed to a circular drive collecting AdLabs and a few trads. We got soaked anyhow doing the Adlabs so not really the most enjoyable way to do them. So much water lying everywhere and all the dams full and overflowing. Off home tomorrow after a busy 3 weeks in SA.
A bit of a strange name here, not heard of by me before. Rob was surprised to find the container a little lower than expected but I guess the previous finder had to take pot luck re-hiding as he found it on the ground.
Thanks Becca85

After packing up camp in StArnaud we hit the road heading for Avoca on a detour way home.
This cache was not hidden when we found it but we (Ghihash) placed it back at calf level

On our way home from camping in StArnaud K9team and I made a quick stop to pick up this cache.
Found cache on the ground out in the open placed back where I thought it should be based on hint.

Our final find for the day, at the end of afun trip from Geelong to St Arnaud and back. Thanks for the smilie!
On our way from St.A to Maryborough and decided to see if we could suss out a few caches in the fading daylight. A nice quick find here and appreciate being shown the point of interest. So many little locations that have all but disappeared, so it’s fascinating to imagine what it must’ve been like back in the day. SL TFTC
An easy find. Container did have water in there. We emptied it out. Room for small swaps
Quick find here and no worries with the container.
Thanks!

Day 6 was Mildura to Ballarat. Some very cool caches outside of Mildura get some Fave points.
Thanks to everyone!

We headed out to enjoy our day and some family time too, thanks for bringing us to see some areas we have just passed by, TFTC and all the fun
24 May 2021,heading home from weekend away, nice to stop at some caches along the way. Thanks for the series!
Left Geelong Thursday morning and cached my way up to Avoca, set up the van in the Caravan Park and glad I changed from the free camp area as the nights were very cold and ice on the screen most mornings.
With 104 caches to log I will have to cut and paste most so thanks to all the folk who placed these caches out there for us to find because without your effort we would not have any to find.
Another day and a new area to hunt for a few more Geocaches with my good friend au.fait, and we called into this guy while on our way to St.Arnaud.
Thanks ever so much for all the caches we have found of yours this w/e.

A great spot to hear the birds (in between the traffic noise).
It just begun to start lightly drizzling so the insects are around and the birds are rejoicing!
TFTC a quick park and grab.

So we have come to stay in Avoca for the weekend, and we planned a day of caching in and around St Arnaud. Clearly, the Mega here a few years ago has made this lovely country town a geocaching hotspot. We decided to drive up the western side of the Pyrenees to get to St Arnaud and pick as many caches up on the way as we could before coming back to Avoca on the Eastern side of the Pyrenees. Having left St Arnaud and heading South towards Avoca we decided to round out the day by picking up all the caches on the highway home. We were passing through Moyreisk and so we picked up this cache. This cache was in excellent condition. Thank you for this cache Becca85
Amidts the protest of the cockies, we got to GZ where accurate coordinates and the hint led to a quick find. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks Becca85 for the cache.
Made a last minute decision to hitch up the GeoPod and take off for an overnight getaway to target some caches on some roads less travelled. This cache was a quick find on the way home. TFTC Becca85.
The first find on my COVID 19 Roadtrip. Been cooped up for weeks and taking a short break to St Arnaud to clear my mind and get some fresh air. A nice little easy find on the road up. Some beautiful chocolate lilies flowering nearby. Cooler today, but still looking out for snakes!
A rare day to ourselves for Mr and Mrs Perpetuallylost so with a forecast of a sunny Winters Day we headed north to St Arnaud to escape Ballarat's chilly weather. My target cache for today was to find a wherigo to help fulfil a personal challenge of 8 different cache types found for each month of the year, then to finish off The Link Trail which we started at last years' Mega.
On our way home and stopped for this one. Didnt have a caravan in tow for a change while on this road which made things easier. Spotted the camo for this one nice and quickly which helped as it was starting to get dark and battery in the phone was going flat! Thx Becca85 ftc, had no idea this area used to be a town!

This is not a road I have driven before in caching times so there are lots of quick caches to find.
I think this woody area would be a snake haven in summer but it is winter so I search with impunity.
Thanks to a great clue it was quickly spotted.
Thanks Becca

We headed out for a day trip and decided this area was a great quiet location.
The winter day we got was just amazing, sunny and a delight to be geocaching in.
Thank you for placing this geocache for us to find.
Blasting through towards home right on dusk.

Passing through with Roaming Howie as we explore this lovely area on an extended long weekend camping trip....too many caches just for one weekend! thanks for the cache.
Some late night caching with Kristysadventures. We soon found this one and had the log signed. Looks like another night of below zero temperatures! Thanks for the cache.
On our way through to SA but found time to stop to do some caching. Some great creative hides. We wish we had more time to spend in the area but with the border block to take place from tomorrow we need to keep moving. We will return to cache around here at another time. Our thanks to Becca85 for placing this cache and adding to our enjoyment of the area.
Find No. 2989. Found at 12.05pm.
On our way to Maryborough to pick up some items and do some shopping there, so along the way we grabbed a few caches and this was one of them.
Once parked we didn't need the GPS - just follow the crushed down grass.

First day of Summer.... well with a Long pants, a Jacket on and the heater going, its Summer only by the calendar.
Needing to get out and do something I decided to go for a short Sunday Arvo drive and grab this cache.
It sure is interesting to see all the names of areas around the district. I wonder who, how and why this area was called Moyreisk?????

Found on my last geocaching drive in the St Area for this trip. I leave tomorrow morning. This was a quick find on a much nicer day than yesterday no wind and much cooler. Also found the lettering on the cache interesting. TFTC.
Hmmm !!
I can think of no reason why visiting Moyreisk and remembering that I have,
could in a million years come in handy
Even the most watched trivia shows on telly,
or held in pubs will *ever*have a question about Moyreisk !! [:o]
I will remember stopping here though
Simply because of the name.
And because I found this beautifully crafted cache container [^]
How do you print the cache name on the lid of NZ 'Tippurweir' like you have ??
TFTC in Moyreisk
Moyreisk, Moyreisk, Moyreisk ...
... How can I forget ??
You just know that Moyreisk is going to pop up in a future cache log ... don't you

Day 7 St Arnaud Campground to Mount Beckworth Reserve - Cork Oaks Camp ground
We left St Arnaud and heading in the general direction of Mount Beckworth Reserve to the puzzle trail. We stopped along the way to get multi's,puzzles and any local coucil areas. This was one of a small number of caches found on route to the reserve. We had to fix a staked tyre before we left, so it wasa late start. quick find.
Came over to the 2019 mega in St Arnaud with Mogni. We where joined by jj52, Aussie M and M plus others at different times over the mega weekend. Many caches where found over the course of the 8 day trip. Targeting multi's on the way there and back plus the challenge trail in Mount Beckworth reserve. The creative trails around St Arnaud where the highlight of the trip.

On the slow trip home after the Mega I have been stopping at a few caches along the road and rediscovering others that we have not logged for up to 6 years due to many reasons.
This one was found easily in the 4th place I looked and happily entered our name into the log book.
Our thanks to Becca85 for the cache and St Arnaud will always have a connection to our Team.

Found by Mary and David at 12:10. Hard to believe the Mega is all over. We are caching our way home. Easy to spot the cache from the road. Follow the tyre tracks and footsteps. Dropped off "Barnacle Bill" TB. Our thanks to Becca85.
This weekend was the St. Arnaud Mega event and I was looking forward to hitting the road for a few days doing some flat out caching, visiting many new and amazing places and catching up with lots of caching friends. The event was a great success and heaps of fun. The caches provided by the local cachers were, in many cases, absolutely mind blowing (FUF009 caches most notably). All in all it was a great weekend, very warm weather and lots of caches found.

Found staying in St Arnaud for a week to attend the Mega Event, had a great time finding some quality caches around the area, this was one of them. I teamed up with My good Mate Rosstaman and Green Gecko from Brisbane. We only had a few left in a 30km circle so we headed out of town for a bit of fun in the bush. We tracked down the DGS camp and said a quick hello while we were there.
Thanks Becca85 for the cache.

Our Sunday geocaching was in two parts. Firstly a run around the town and the nearby fire tracks punctuated by the GIFF event and finished off with a few more on the highway towards Ballarat before making a freeway run for home. Another great day and some wonderful caches. Thanks from D & HA B-A.
