Was in the area and dont have a multi ticked for the 27th of August so thought it was as good a time as any. Thanks for the cache and the quick find
I spent the day on the Bellarine caching. This was the pit stop on the way home.I gathered the required info many moons ago.Today was a fairly quick park and grab.I signed and moved on.TFTC
TwoEms found the view from the location of the cache more peaceful than the symmetry outside the town hall. It felt good to stand tall to pay our respects, and then seat ourselves on the grass to complete the ceremony. Thank you for the cachewe admired the handiwork.
After not being able to sign this on Wednesday I'm back this weekend for an event and with a TOTT to get the task done. Loved the war memorial, thanks for the multi.
This sums up my day! 4 hours in Geelong and still not a single find. Ages spent on some multis with no luck getting all the stages, then resorted to this easy one. But at GZ there's no way I'm going to access it. Unlike the last loggers, there were no tall muggles passing to help get it, I waited for 10 minutes and then gave up. Oh well, these days happen sometime.
With a few hours to spare in Geelong, I caught up with my good friend and my original mentor au.fait for some caching shenanigans. I arrived early to work on this multi and to try and locate this cache. My early search proved fruitless, so I waited for au.fait who had previously found it.. Back to GZ, and we were able to hear the cache, but we both couldn't quite reach. So Tiz13 asked a passing muggle if he could assist...no questions asked this chap grabbed this cache for me and continued on his way.
We had lunch at the nearby Grilld and then I couldnt resist another war memorial particularly as it was a multi. Am almost at the 1000 Aussie multi mark for a challenge.Once the numbers were crunched we headed off for a walk at GZ. Had to get the husband to assist here as Im not tall enough. TFTC
With the eldest off to HS orientation I had a few hours to kill putting some more smilies on the map around Geelong. A mix of physical caches & ad labs, some of which were specifically targeted and other because I just happened to be nearby. This was almost an accidental find. I had to make a quick stop nearby for non caching reasons, so decided to gather the required info while I was here and surprise surprise, GZ was right near my next target cache. Happy days! Initially selected the wrong spot to look but a quick readjustment up the hill ended with a quick find. TFTC!
Heading home after enjoying a gorgeous day out I realised Id be driving by the coordinates Id worked out the other week. One quick stop, beautiful view, and some attempts at not looking too suss as I pulled on gloves for reaching. At first it was so frustrating because I could see the cache (thanks to my phone) and could feel the cache with the tips of my fingers! Could I get a proper hold on it? No. Did I give up? No. Did I get odd looks? Maybe. With the help of a little leverage I was able to get my hand on the cache properly. Did I do a happy dance as I signed the log? Very much yes to the amusement of some people passing. Smiles were shared but Im sure they thought I was odd. This is my third multi cache and really enjoyed working on this one. Thank you for sharing this history and two lovely places with us! Thanks for the cache! Peace, Tara Found 6.08 pm Wednesday 27 September 2023. Signed log as: Taralee_peace Took nothing, left crochet heart. Geocaches found: 29 Photo: no hints, just a glimpse at the log (nice and dry) and my crochet heart.

*Cache find # 15048.*
After this morning's event, it was time to head out and find a few more caches of interest, I had a small list as my targets, which this one was on, so I picked up the Hamfish and off we went.
I had to get a multi done and this was it, we headed to the memorial, worked on the numbers, checked where GZ was and decided to find another cache first before finishing this one off.
We arrived at GZ and were wondering if our numbers where correct as the compass was pointing down the hill a little, but then I decided to put my hand in a hole where we were standing and out came a cache container, the log was signed, cache replaced and we were on our way once again.
**Thanks to The_Tritonz for keeping the game going by placing this cache.**

Can't remember when I worked out the coordinates but today was the day to grab the cache. Arrived at GZ and grabbed the cache. Went to sign the log but neither of the two pens I had, worked. Off to a nearbyish shop to get a pen and returned to finally sign the log.
Thanks for the Multi-cache The_Tritonz

This was my last cache for the Wheel of Challenges for June. I just had to get it... I'm running out of nearby caches, and had commitments in Geelong today. Thankfully I found it. It's in good condition, and in a cracker of a hiding spot.
Thanks heaps for the cache!
Thanks heaps for the cache!
A rather forgotten war in Korea as there were others that seem to so much worse. Also I’d forgotten to log it from whenever I had found it. Thanks for highlighting this memorial The Tritonz
We solved this one a while ago but had only decided to come grab it today! Nice quick find for us today!

Filling time before this evening's meetup at the floating bu... er, Christmas tree at Eastern Beach, n0w0rries, BoatieTim and I did a bit of a Pako to pay our respects to the fallen.
Which led to a cache with a fine piece of decoration and a better view. I located the cache, but BoatieTim was just enough taller to be able to grab it.
Another nice one by The_Tritonz.

On the way to the Community Celebration Event at the Floating Christmas Tree with nirgalagrin and BoatieTim.
This was my second smiley for the day.
We bumped into Crack'n'LeeLee on the way to the final.
Upon arrival at GZ, Mark soon worked out where the cache was, but Tim is taller, so he retrieved the excellent container. Nice one Tritonz!
I'm definitely adding this to the list of favorites!

Signed log and Cache replaced as found. Started this on a walk looking for something to eat and got the info to work out later. Nice hide for the final ;position. Luck i'm on the tall side.

It was a late night of adventures in Geelong. Donutholes event for International Donut Day followed by some impromptu caching with a couple of Geelong locals. After wrapping up we returned to our cars and bid farewell. It was late enough that by the time I solved this nearby multi I would have turned into a pumpkin so off I set. No a single person at The posted coords as you would expect, and again in the carpark at GZ.
My GPS was a little bouncy tonight and after having a man look in the most obvious spots, I set off on an exploration of every object within a 15m radius. It was only on a second check of the first spot I look in that I spotted the cache had been sitting there the whole time .
Log signed and time to drive back to Melb and get a few hours rest before the hike.
Thanks The_Tritonz for adding this cache to the worldwide collection for us all to find.

ahomburg, SedwickDave and myself headed off caching after the morning event. A quick jump out of the car by me to take a photo while we were at the lights, resulted in us soon having this one figured out. Manfred enjoyed the stroll from some bollards to this one. Thanks for placing the cache The_Tritonz, without hiders the game wouldn’t exist.
GPS had me a bit confused, so then I reverted to what was more obvious & found it. Tftc
In Geelong today with some time to kill due to a car service. I had gathered all of the information long ago. Today, all that was needed was a trip to GZ. I certainly made it very hard and once I saw the terrain rating, realised that it was probably not the intended route. Oh well! Once at GZ, I luckily put my hand in the right spot and felt the cache. Yay! What a ripper cache container and so appropriately themed. Thanks The Tritonz, a favourite from me.
We were going done to Queenscliff to catch up with some muggle friends and after the fog cleared at home we left a bit earlier than planned and hoped to grab a few caches before we met with them.
We enjoyed visiting the memorial here and paying our respects while collecting the required information. Once that was sorted we headed off to gz where the wheels fell off a bit. Being the end of the school holidays and quite a cool but pleasant day we weren't expecting to see so many people out exercising. Fortunately there was a great view near gz so we just pretended to take photos of it while we waited for our chance. We guessed it would be in one or two places and happily it was in the first one we checked.
We added our name to the log and then waited for another suitable break before returning the cache.
Many thanks The_Tritonz for the multi and the effort put into the container, a favourite point from us.
Lest we Forget.

We are in the process of slowly tidying up our map of the home region. Today this Multi was tackled. A straight-forward task and then off to GZ. As always with these COs, a pleasant location and a uniquely decorated container.
Thank you, again, to The_Tritonz!

My good friends Ski Pair were heading down to Geelong for a few days and invited Me to join them, who could resist being chauffeured around and the company and laughs are always good. We had a great time touring the area discovering new locations while finding caches, We even managed dinner with Suscoe and Busfire.
This is one of the caches we found for the week. With the numbers crunched it was off to GZ for a quick find.
Thanks The_Tritonz for the cache.

Some things seem to be well used investments. 3D printers seem to be one. Thoughtful caches are generated, placed in scenic GZs. They can add to the flair of a cache and bring a nice surprise or touch of something special. A nice little multi with a perfect finish. A FP from me.
A little bit of a theme in today's caching is the second one with a war memorial theme. We had retrieved the applicable data previously and had made the appropriate calculation, and this one was ready to be found. We initially took the wrong path, but on a day like today, who minds a few hundred meters extra walk, not us! This cache is not for hobbits to find, but fortunately, Mr Dromaniax is not hobbitlike in stature, so we could retrieve the well-themed cache so that we could sign the log book. Thank you, The_Tritonz, for another thoughtful cache.
A plan was hatched for Spiffy- and I to freestyle Geelong with few multi and high favourite caches in mind. I was on bike and Spiffy- on electric scooter. Worked out well considering the wind and puncture on the bike. Did I mention hot too?
We were very happy to find this.
Thanks to The_Tritonz for the placement and fun.

Fleabag- was chasing some multis for a multi challenge he was working on and with the ring of steel letting us out of Melbourne now gone I followed him down this way. I was lucky enough to borrow his electric scooter which made it easier in the gale force winds and 30 degree heat. It was my first scooter trip and really fun although it needed help on the steeper hills, plus when we had to finish after a few hours I wasn't even tired. It doesn't get any better than that.
We gathered the clues earlier in the day but it sent us in the opposite direction to what we wanted to go. However on our way back to the car later in the day we took a short diversion and as Fleabag- happily rode on past GZ, I actually stopped and signed the log.
Thanks The_Tritonz for the cache, the adventure, the hunt and the fun.

Thanks for this one.
Stopped to collect the info at the memorial and then headed off to find the prize. Looked everywhere and found it in the last spot I checked.
Nice to remember those who gave their lives for us to live freely today!

A great day to do a few caches, and this was one. Good coord calculations. A great view near GZ, which caused us to race off to get this shot. It's coming! TFTC.
I got the lead up to this some time ago but for some reason didn't get the final. Today was the day and the coords had me down a slope, and silly me went there! Realised the error of my ways and soon had a very neat cache in hand. A fave for that.
This adventure started off at Lunch Break when I had the chance to meet up with RedGeoDevil and another mate for some Lunch. He had happen to have chosen the town hall as our meet up place so this was a perfect chance to grab the required details for the GZ. Unfortunately Time was running out before this afternoons Art Lesson so I had to leave this one for the time being. Not to worry though as I was back out this afternoon to have an orthodontist appointment but with about an hour or so before that I had the chance to get my name into that log book. So out on the bike I headed towards the GZ in an area I don't often Bike Ride around but was a nice change of scene. As I approached the caches hiding spot I did a quick jump just to make sure I wasn't putting my hand any where I didn't need to but instead was greeted by an amazingly designed Geocache. Quickly signed my name in the log book also noticing a couple of Gold Coins in there as well, perhaps Remembrance Day donations ? Not sure what they were in there for really ? Anyways, popped it back into it's spot, sanitized my hands and carried back on the bike
Great Cache design The_Tritonz, very impressive

Nice to add another smiley to Pako st. Found with little blue hen. Luckily there was a car space right next to gz. Nice container but lid was not secured. Cache all good and left reconnected. Tftcsl favourite added.
Found the needed info easy enough at WP1 and headed straight to GZ. Took us a bit to narrow down the location but eventually we had the well themed container in hand. Probably could have made our lives a bit easier had we approached this one from the other side, but oh well. TFTC TheTritonz, this one was cool.
TFTC, easy find after reading the hint. Was feeling a bit risky reaching to it.
Took nothing, left nothing, overthought it at WP1, but got there eventually. TFTC
I managed to locate the coords the day prior and grabbed this early in the morning before work. The streak had at least lasted up to February. tftc
I came past WP1 early in the day and gathered all the info easily enough.
WP2 looked a bit messy for now so I left it until after the adventure labs were complete. It may not be anzac day but Australia Day seemed another suitable day of national pride to grab this one.
Thanks Tritonz. Nice theme. A fav point!

With a bit of time spare after some shopping nearby we made quick work of the math for this cache and debated the speediest way to GZ. There has been some recent vegetation works and we thought we might be out of luck with the phone GPS pointing down the hill. But after double checking the terrain rating and hint we tried a more familiar approach and soon had the cache in hand. Thanks for this cache Tritonz.
This time of year goes by so fast but there should always be time made to remember those who have fought and made life so good for us all. In my travels I had stopped at an earlier date to grab the info required to find GZ and left it for a day when I was nearby and in need of a cache for the day.
Today I had a special job that had me very close to GZ so afterwards I stopped by for what I hoped would be a quick find. My GPS had other ideas though. It did take a couple of minutes to settle so it had me in the wrong place for a short while but the D/T didn't make sense. When I was back on track again the cache was found in the logical place.
Thank you for the work on the cache and lest we forget

Slowly catching up with all the found caches and just about there. Gee this 3D printer is amazing at what it can do and making the Sistema at the base of a tree look a bit ordinary.
Loved the work on the container and good location to place it.
Well done and another F.P.

Day 1 of our epic trek to the St Arnaud Mega via Geelong. As you do.
The constant was my travel companion for the entire trip, - Anymules. but we were joined by almost local cacher Bushfire for a lot of the escapades
But today it was a the case of making our way towards out first stop in Geelong caching along the way.[:o)] Having finally made it we settled in and went out for some night caching with Bushfire. [^] Didn't take long to get the letters / numbers we needed. Surprised at how far away GZ was but didn't take that long to get there and find the cache. Time for some sleep - another big day tomorrow me thinks.

We went to Geelong area with ilook4geo and muggle family for tea tonight. After we had eaten we decided to have a go at this multi as it was still unfound. Went to WP1, collected the info needed and then headed off to the final destination. We arrived at just the right time to share a (FTF) with Suscoe and ilook4geo. Good to make contact again with a fellow cacher while out on the hunt. Had a chat after the signing was done before heading off home.
Thanks go to The_Tritonz for a nice straight forward multi. We also enjoyed the lights of Geelong by night. Favourite point given for the (FTF) opportunity.

Came along to WP1 with goingplaces2 and worked out where we needed to be for the new GZ. Went along there and met Suscoe at the site. A joint (FTF) was agreed upon and all three put names on the log, before the container was replaced as found. Fav point for this one. TFTC.
JOINT FIRST TO FIND SUSCOE, ilook4geo and goingplaces2 [FTF]
Well that was a nice surprise this evening.
We had seen this publication earlier on and decided to finish tea, with it still unfound a trip to Geelong West was decided upon.
One half of Suscoe grew up in the west so this memorial was familiar to us.
Sorted the final location and arrived to an empty area.
Just as the container was located a happy band of folks were approaching looking at their devices, geocachers!!!!!!!!!!!
So with the log open we all signed our names in and appreciated the work done here once again by The_Tritonz.
Great to have a joint FTF in good company and great to say hello again to illok4geo and goingplaces2.
Time to head home and get warm.
It is the 9th of November and Suscoe was wandering about in a jacket and beanie, crazy weather these days.
A favourite point.
