Nice sunny Sunday over in Hawkesbury region with Graubunden. One of many geofinds out there. Good guarded. TFTC Cruiseforever

Out and about on a sunny and warm day in September finding previously unfound caches north of the Hawkesbury River around Freemans Reach, Glossodia, and Wilberforce. Most were pretty easy to find, although parking wasn't always easy. Quite a pretty part of the country which I would never have visited had it not been for geocaching bringing me here. SL TFTC Cruiseforever!
After attending the World Record Community Celebration Event at Ebenezer this morning, I headed to Glossodia before commencing my return journey, in order to pick up a few caches that, for one reason or the other, had eluded me when I did a run through the area earlier in the year.
A quick find here, right where it should have been then but wasn't. Great to be able to turn a blue frown into a smiley ... thanks cruiseforever.

Nice quick find for international geocaching day.
Right in the spot I thought it would have been last time I DNF’d.
Thanks Cruiseforever for the cache!

Well, we really didn't find this one. However, we were sure the cache should have been in this location. We don't normally do this, but we placed a spare container that we had, with a logsheet. Hope this is okay with the CO. Otherwise, we can change to a DNF. Please let us know.
No luck with this one this afternoon. Based on the previous logs it might be gone?
No luck here as I took a drive around the turf farms of Freemans Reach and thereabouts, ahead of going where I had to go to in Windsor today. It really should have been an easy find thanks to the hint, so I'm thinking the cache has gone AWOL ... it would be good if the CO could check on it.

Today was a road trip around the Hawkesbury area. An ambitious list of caches to find as I set myself a target of reaching 10,000 finds by year end. Covid-19 lockdown put a spanner in the works and I now have only two months to find the remaining 200+ caches. So rather than interesting caches, I had to schedule a day in the car and go for quantity, rather than quality.
This is 22 of 61 finds today. TFTC!

Today is HappyTakahe’s birthday and she wanted to go geocaching so we are out and about to try and get some more of the caches close by to us in our LGA, starting to run out hopefully this lockdown ends soon .

Quick pickup leaving RosieApples place. Cache was quite exposed so tucked it in a little, still not hard to find. Plastic bag needs replacing but cache in good order other than that. TFTC SL
Continuing my drive from the west I found a safe spot to leave the geomobile and walk the short distance to GZ.
This turned out to be a really busy little intersection while I was here. With vehicles going in all directions I had to wait out the passing traffic before I could grab the cache - didn't want anyone looking at me and crashing into that guard rail.
Finally a break in the traffic and I grabbed the cache and signed the logsheet then replaced the cache as the traffic began again. Where is everyone going out here?
Driving off I found the Guide Dog training centre just a couple of hundred metres down the road. Now I have been there before, to see the Graduation ceremonies.
The work is 97% funded by donations.
It's such a great idea to provide a dog to help visually impaired people. Not only a guide but a companion as well. It's a really worthwhile cause which I support regularly.
Text WOOF to 0447 767 767 to donate $5.

Was at the wrong end of the guard rail...... silly me I’m definitely making some rookey mistakes today. Once I got the right end an the right view the find was simple enough thanks
Log was stuck in the container Thank goodness we found some wire to use to extract it TFTH
Great day of caching near the Hawkesbury River. Started in Ebenezer with the AL, unfortunately very unsuccessful as the location service on my phone was struggling and could not fix on the wp's I needed. Luckily I also made a good plan for other caches so the day turned out productive. Weather was really good, about 20 with a little breeze and nice and sunny.

Had no problems in finding this cache. The cache was found quickly and easily in the first place that was checked. The log was signed and then the cache was replaced as found. Thank you Cruiseforever for placing a park and grab cache.
On a day out in search of my sanity. Hoping to find many moderate sized caches as the thought of any sanity i possess hiding in micro containers gives the impression of how little I have left.
Thanks for the cache.
Thanks for the cache.
An afternoon in the Hawkesbury to geocache. 12 finds for the afternoon. Thanks so much for placing these caches to find.
#7045 (4 of 5 today)
Well, I was supposed to be at the Australia v New Zealand One Day cricket match at the SCG today. But that went out the window when I found out that the match was going ahead without a crowd.
I knew there was a reason I didn't like to drink Coronas... [:p]
Anyway, what it did mean was I could grab a few caches today rather than the one I originally planned.
Decided to head north and got five out of five.
And when I got home I saw two caches were published in the area - while I was out of mobile coverage. Would have got a First2Find... Sigh.
###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###
And on my drive to this cache from my last find I go past a cache that gets published within 90 minutes... What luck!?
Parked close and headed for the obvious spot. For the obvious grab. I signed it, obviously!
Then replaced. Obvi... too many? Yeah.
Back for the quick replace and sat in the car and decided to go for one more, that meant backtracking a little. And with all the rain it might not be there.

Quite a busy corner here, folks out for a drive or a ride on a Sunday.

Streak day 61.
Below is a blurb about us.
We are trying to get a badge from Project-GC for writing found log files of 100 words or more. Once we get this badge we will stop writing this. We are also trying to
get badges for adding photos to our found logs.
We Started caching in December 2019 and by January 2020 we were hooked. As we are on the road full time (living in a caravan), caching fits in well with this lifestyle.
It is taking us to places that we would normally not have gone.
When we move to a new place we also look at what caches are in the area and how many days we will need to be there to get the caches we want.

A short drive from home before the heat of the day builds soon had me parked near GZ. Without using my GPS unit I found the cache in the first place I looked from memory of the cache details seen at home.

I was out today on a caching run around the area visiting Nth Richmond Glossodia,Freemans Reach and up to Kurrajong Heights.
I had an excellent day caching out here finding almost all that I searched for,
Today was extremely warm and dry with a thick smoke haze blanketing throughout however this didnt dampen the day in the slightest,
It was a huge day with many finds so a big thank you to all the COs for placing their enjoyable hides,I do apologies for my generic logs.
Thanks for the cache
