Out with busy paws and lytteltonwitch for a fun days caching. Enjoying the drive after our big walk. This is a very cute cache, road busy here for a back track. Thanks for the cache MacPacParents.
We brought a visitor along the scenic route to Akaroa on a bright winter's afternoon, taking in six MacPacMum caches on the way. No problems here. TFTC!
Yay! TFTC! Came all the way from Vancouver BC to find this cache! Thanks for being part of the adventure
Hi there! The branch this one is attached to has broken off. I stuffed it back in to try to keep it safe for now
Having introduced my French Hitchhiker companions to geocaching, they were quickly out of the car wondering about what the hint could mean. We all had a laugh when I showed them the container. Thanks for the cache MacPacParents.
Perfect timing just replaced the cache as a group of bikers stopped at the pull-in area on the summit road. They asked if I had walked up from the bottom and how was the road condition; TFTC
Day #7 of my 11 day holiday and in Akaroa for the week.
Going over the Summit Road today and decided to change route and go to a couple of the nearby Bays.
Lovely spot here when back on the Road and a nice quick find when in the right spot TFTC

Heading home from Duvauchele and we drove up the Stock Route and had to wait untill a Cyclist pushing her bike up that road had gone past us and was out of sight Then it was a quick find TFTH
I stopped here on my way to Okains Bay.
It's super foggy and damp up here today.
My feet are cold and wet, clambered up to GZ and looked around- I'm giving a fav point not just for the cute cache but also for the strange surprised noise I made when I saw it.
No caravans indeed...

Greetings from QLD! Today is day 3 of our holiday and we have come to Akaroa to see some dolphins! After a great cruise on the harbour, we took the long, scenic way back to Christchurch.
Nearing the end of the scenic route we couldn’t leave this one. Unfortunately the container had water in it, which I tipped out. The log book was very damp and I tried to sign but it was ripping.

A lovely day in the area, having spent most of it down at Okains Bay in the sun and surf. A quick stop on the way back, took a bit to extract the log but all good. Cheers
We're taking a quick break in our camper van in the Akaroa region. There was a break in the weather so we went for a walk further back to see the Totora. Then we drove up and turned our camp van around. We popped out and found the cool cache and then had lunch in this scenic spot. Thanks for hiding this cache MacPacParents I appreciate it.
Taken out by Knotobsessed for a day of caching even with my knee problem. Scrambled up to reach this and would hate to think what the sight of as like from behind me.
Managed to get the parking for this 1 spot on! Bit of an interesting road to turn on to, but very helpful to have a copilot along for the ride

I had to wait for a couple of vehicles that I could see coming up the road before I could have a look for this one. So now I'm thinking well if they could do it so could I - but not today as I am on another mission. TFTC # 17,297
Not much of a day but get out and caching gave me a lift. Found some great caches in some lovely spots and some with great views and new places. A great view today. TFTH
A nice quick find thanks. Heading home via the stock route, cheers.
A quiet weekend away over in Akaroa with Ms_KR and my mum. A lovely couple of days weather, and a few caches that were on the radar.
Thanks to all CO's for publishing and maintaining their caches. Cheers.

Knowing it had been really dry for ages I was hopeful the route would be 2wd friendly. But to be on the safe side I started at the top and came down. No worries with the route or finding any of the caches.
7 April 2021 11:28. Fortunately I had a hybrid, not a campervan! No problems here and a great view. TFTC.
A nice quick find on our way home from Pigeon Bay. Beautiful view from here but I think we'll give the gravel road a miss! TFTC
Down from Northland for a one week trip to Christchurch to pick up some solved puzzles, challenges, unusual cache types, Jasmer grid fillers, as well as a few others in passing.
Today we were off on a trip to Akaroa and after stopping off to do an AL on the way, passed by for fish and chips. Heading back now and decided to take the scenic route. Continuing along here this was the next one, The GPS was pointing me to one side of the road which didn't seem right, so headed to the other side and soon spotted something a little unusual, and soon had the cache in hand. TFTC

It has been a while. Out on a mad mission with TG. Amazing views. Glad to be out.
It has been a while since we have managed a mad mission so it was nice to be able to head out with TheWanglers this evening for a drive to try for a couple FTFs and have a jolly good catch up.
Overcast and cool but no rain......pulled up here for a quick find and sign with great views out over the harbour. Thanks.

Found with Envy-Us on a caching trip around the southern sector of Banks Peninsular. TFTC
It probably wasnt a good idea to go caching on a holiday weekend Saturday. Lots of traffic all heading to Akaroa. Never mind the weather was fine and the view well worth the trip. A clever hide . TFTC
Had a stunning day driving around some of the peninsular. Great weather and some amazing views, and roads! Most finds were straight forward, but sadly noted many lonely caches. TFTC
Yay! [FTF] And a very cute find it is too! Out and about on a beautiful sunny day, just a bit of wind, going for a long time no see visit to Little Akaloa. Couldn't believe my luck, a clean log. TFTH and a Fav for being so cute.
