Nice little well kept church and grounds. Found some of my grandmother's Shoobridge relatives resting here, and the cache of course (in good condition). Also met the owners (for 50 odd years) of the rectory residence next door. TFTC 63ROOS.
I was down south of the state primarily to attend a CITO but decided to spend some days here after caches. Today I was after caches on the Tasman Peninsular that I could get on my last visit as it was raining heavily. A lovely little church and an easy Multi find.
We are visiting Australia from Florida, USA for a multi-week vacation which will have us visiting two states in Australia (Tasmania and the ACT) we missed in 2014 followed by 28 days on the Ovation of the Seas including New Zealand and a Transpacific to Honolulu, Hawaii, USA.
Today was our fourth day of the trip and our first full day in Tasmania, with the forecast of a beautiful day we set up a routing to the Port Arthur area and back to Hobart. We had eight Multicaches, three Earthcaches, three Virtual caches, six Unknown caches, four+ Adventure Lab sets on our to-do list, we would also surpass the 1900 Multicache finds milestone today.
We would end up with six caches in the Nubeena area, our first solution was somewhat off, after a re-check the correct coordinates were revealed. Thanks for a fun multi. tftc!!

Love old churches and this was a lovely one to walk around and explore. Found with The X-Trailers. Glad the cache not where I looked when walking around.

Find #12970
In Tassie for a few days with beckNmonts and Earthbound Chief. Have been having a ball and continued along our merry way with some fun cache finds.
Day 4, our final day in Tasmania. The plan was to try and do as many earthcaches as we could as well as whatever else we came across.
Our final day in Tassie for now ended up involving quite a bit of driving, a heap of multis, some ad labs and of course the mentioned caches.
Massive thanks go to 63ROOS for placing this one.
Big things are continuing to happen! *Are you joining the fun again in 2022?*

We have realised that we have nowhere near enough time to find all the puzzles we have solved for this trip. So what will we do? Today we will focus on Multis and Earth caches instead!
Mazda StarBounceSky, the Standard Poodle, and trip mascot, is enjoying her view of the countryside via geocaching. Apparently it was hard when she lived in the Hobart Airport Bookshop.
Earthbound Chief, ahomburg, Mazda and myself started the day at our now “regular” breakfast spot, to caffeinate for the day, then headed off again with our gratefully borrowed fishing pole and ladder. Today we were venturing further from the accommodation with some earth caches in our sights.
Thanks for the caches and puzzles we have had fun solving, 63ROOS

Today we found Nubeena #4 - Black on our travels. We are on a lightening fast visit from Melbourne just because…well, maybe it’s all those puzzles we solved during those many lockdowns! Having the opportunity to sign some actual logs is exciting!
Thanks 63ROOS for being part of our geocaching fun.

On a road trip from Hobart to Stanley with my mum over 2 weeks. We visited a number of towns and we were mainly targeting Virtuals and Earthcaches due to the amazing locations they take one to. We did pick up the random traditional, multi, puzzle, wherigo and even a couple letterbox caches whilst travelling.
After a nice sleep in Port Arthur, it was time to finish off the route we started last night before losing sunlight. No issues working out the coordinates for this one. Cache located, signed and replaced as found.
Thanks for placing and mainting this geocache 63ROOS

While caching in the area we found your cache along the way.
A great place to visit, nice church. After working through the calculations we made a quick find at GZ. Cache and contents were in good condition.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

There is so many lovely old church buildings in Tassie and another was discovered here as i made my way over to the listed co-ords for the numbers needed.
Did the number crunch back at the GeoMobile and as i was looking at the projected GZ i said... "That can't be right". Re-did the sums and had an incorrect number... d-uh!
Out in the open green field is most definitely not GZ ha ha [:o)]
Went on foot to the final and was SL at 11:20 on 7/4/21.
The log within is dry

Caching is guiding our travels as we enjoy a range of hides highlighting interesting places on our Tasmania holiday.
We are always keen to visit a cemetery cache. This would once have had a lovely view of the bay. The trees were blocking our view today.
Thank you for your cache and helping us work towards some of our caching goals.

This is a very picturesque church which is being very well maintained by the parishioners from a number of denominations. Data collection was straightforward and we soon had a set of coordinates. These were accurate and we quickly had the cache in hand. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks 63ROOS for a pleasant multi.
Had a day for a run around the Pennisula. Some great caches and my target - kelpies was visited as well.

Decided a few days ago to head to Port Arthur after an early appointment for Lady membsec, to do a maintenance run for the geofamily and also get a few newly released caches since our last visit. Turned out we chose a good day!
We worked out GZ fairly quickly but arriving at GZ we searched under, between each rock without finding a container. After contacting the CO and sending some photos she gave us permission to replace the container with a micro.

An excellent series of traditional, multi and mystery caches to find.
We enjoyed the scenic drive on such a beautiful sunny day on the peninsula. Thanks, 63ROOS for all the effort you went to in creating this cache and the series.
Lovely country church and burial grounds. The garden wall is covered in an a vine of autumn leaves and is a wonderful sight. We enjoyed being here today.

Such a lovely spot! Found with S_38 as part of the 29th Feb challenge. Thanks for the cache
Suscoe was wandering the roads of the Tasman Peninsular today.
It was a lovely day with some drizzly rain in the morning, some sunshine as well and a solid South Easterly wind.
The roads were quiet down here today which made the wandering quite pleasant.
We did a lap and a bit which showed us the range of the countryside from farm lands to bushland and everything inbetween, we were also amazed at the number of homes located around the delightful bays.
Thanks to 63ROOS for showing us this lovely and well maintained place.

out and about with the Rafas caching again easy find with clues, TFTC TNLN log dry, a pleasant day to drive around and collect caches.
Thanks for the multi 63ROOS.
Today, RLD4963 and I went for a drive on the peninsula whilst my son and his girlfriend were visiting the Port Arthur Historic site.
Great to see some new caches on the peninsula, and great to see a few different types published as part of this series.
We parked close to the published coordinates and then collected the required information. We made use of the nearby seat in the shade to make the required calculations, and then made our way to GZ, where the cache was quickly found. A lovely well maintained church and grounds. Thanks for the series.

My first multi cache! What fun working out the puzzle. Have passed this church hundreds of times in my lifetime - first time I have visited. TFTC
Nothing like a checking out the local history. While we were here we looked at the old Head stones. Thanks for getting us out and about. TFTC
It had been drizzling at home before we left and then seemed to clear so we decided to head towards the Tasman Peninsula to locate 10 new caches and this was one of them. As we left home the drizzle returned but we had packed the raincoats so decided to keep going. When we arrived there was a Church Service in progress. Out of respect we only took the photograph of the information and returned to locate GZ on the way back home. The coast was clear and the log was signed. A well maintained cemetery. TFTM

After getting the numbers in the rain (goose stayed in the car) i worked out the finals and we were off!
In no time at all we added our names to the logbook.
Thanks for the cache.
First proper day caching since I got back from the Mega on the big island, great to be back out caching on common ground.
Today it was down to the Tasman peninsula to find some new caches and some old ones I had missed in my past visits, but as just about always I leave something for the next time

Hello 63ROOS thank you for the cache.
The information was quickly found and after a little while EeePees had a set of cords, unfortunately they needed a little tweak before they made sense.
I'm glad my mate was here to do the numbers as I struggle with multi's.
From there it wasn't to long before the cache was found.
With a missing letter this is my church.
Found with EeePees while having a great day caching.

What a lovely little church! It was raining quite hard when we arrived so after a photo of the information we worked out GZ under shelter around the back near the door. The rain eased so we made the short walk to GZ with no drama. The only dram I had was getting the log back on to the container. It kept getting caught on the lip inside.
Thanks for the third multi today 63ROOS

Hi 63ROOS, We were relaxing watching the News when the familiar dings came through for eight new caches from yourself and with all FTF's there is a bit of luck involved and with the first of seven only 20kms from my doorstep it was time to take off and see how many we could get. Luckily Mrs PC hadn't started tea so after working out the puzzle coordinates for Nubeena #1 we set off in bright sunshine and the wind which had been blowing quite blustery all day subsided and it was a great night for caching. Just as we were leaving we noticed that your Howrah one had already been found. This multi was nice and straightforward and after doing my sums and working out the coordinates it was a lovely wander to GZ. Nice cache container and hidden well, signed the log at 7.22pm for number two FTF. Thanks 63ROOS, accurate coordinates as usual and a very lovely little Church and small graveyard to wander into. At WP1 information required was easily obtained.
