Thank you for hosting this geocaching event! The date of the event has passed. We automatically archive events after 30 days (60 days for Mega- and Giga-Events). Attendees can still log archived events, log trackables, and share their experiences.
Looking forward to seeing many fellow geocachers on the next 2 cruises. Thanks for hosting the event.
Catching up on logging ... attended with Nibletricecakes. Such a damp and bedraggled day. Thanks 5beatriff for hosting. So much has happened since this event - I hope you will be able to explore the world again soon. TFTE
In the area grabbing some caches in the pouring rain. Spotted this event on the map and thought we would swing by and say high. Lovely to meet some international travellers. Thanks for gathering us all together. Thanks for the cache.
Thanks for the event! Too bad about the weather. We will see you again soon.

It was so fun to meet other cachers at the Sydney, Australia event. Got there before the rains hit and waited out the storm that hit. Most of us are on the Radiance of the Seas tomorrow. Cabin 1594
So nice to meet fellow geocachers, even in the wind and rain! Looking forward to seeing many of you on board the Radiance of the Seas. Thanks for hosting, 5beatriff. We’re in cabin 3086
WooHoo! Our First Australian Event!
We weren't sure if we were going to make it, due to the torrential down pour... but geocachers are a hardy lot!
It was great meeting everyone! Looking forward to 'seeing' you all again in Akaroa! Thanks for hosting a wet and windy event!

Yeah we did it. Thanks to everyone for coming and I will post the log photos asap. Just in after a long day!!!!!!
One of the quickest events ever...but it was wet and everyone seemed to want to move off to their geocaching adventures...which I also did. Thanx for holding the event.
Great to meet many cachers at event. Happy that we will get to see some of you on the ship! (rm 7018). Thanks, 5beatriff, for making this possible!
Thanks for coming everyone Don’t forget to post your room number if you are on the cruise so we can touch base and get to know you!

So sorry I couldn't get there as I intended to walk down through the city to the event. I dropped my son off at a Birthday Party at 4 pm, but just couldn't drive close enough to the CBD to then walk or catch public transport to the event, and arrive there on time. I hope some geocachers brave the weather and come anyway. Enjoy your travels here in Sydney and Australia. I hope you get sunny days as well. Regards, EverestHigh.
So sorry that I could not make it to your event.
Just as I was about to leave to walk to the ferry it began torrentially raining. I waited and waited but then there was not enough time to make the distance to the ferry, and with the conditions I wasn't 100% sure it would be running anyway.
I read the logs that many of you are on the same cruise departing tomorrow so it was great that you could meet each other before the trip. I checked the itinerary and see you are going to The Top End and heading to Fremantle. I hope the weather is better for you as there are some beautiful locations in The Top End.
Happy travels,
Jackscruff

Last minute decision to go to Sydney for an event, despite the pouring rain all weekend. Drove to Sutherland and cought a train to Central. From there I walked to the event at circular quay, picking up caches along the way. At the event met a lot of very wet but friendly tourist cachers from Canada. Had a nice chat and swapped some details and pathtags. Thanks for organising!

Hope to come along.
Depends on the weather as our local bus doesn't run on the weekend so its a long walk which I don't mind .... but if it rains like today! We shall see, hope to see you tomorrow.

Wish we could be there but our ship doesn’t get in until the 9th. Have a good time.
We are from VIrginia...will attend along with the California and Massachusetts cachers!
We two, from Massachusetts, will attempt to be there along with the Californians.
We are going to try and attend this - in amongst sight seeing!

It's a long way off, but I'll do my best to make this event. It's always nice to meet overseas cachers. Brew
