Lovely old building! Havent seen one of these caches for a while which is not a bad thing!! But fortunately made a quick find!! TFTC!!
Found easy enough but needed to enlist MrsOgre to retrieve and sign as my knuckles just couldnt get in.TftcPete
An interesting place for a cache, using one of our tools we spotted the cache and with the help of a different tool we had the cache in hand. SL TFTC
That was tricky...A ..it took ages to spot it as I definitely couldn't see it then I had to grab a Tott I could touch it on tippy toes but grabbing it was another thing. In the end not only did I use my TOTT but also something I found on the ground.
Too good for me today. Looked as per the hint, but alas it wasn't to be. Someone has either dumped a heap of bedding under one of the windows, or a homeless person is using the area. Didn't make any difference to my searching though. Thanks anyway DaleyEvents...will try again one day.
6 of us looked in both windows guards, the door and around the sides and couldn't find it
Smallest cache I have found! Was very tricky. Took four of us to finally locate it. Would have been much easier with a ladder or stool. Luckily cache guardian kept a good look out when we eventually retrieved it. Nice to fill out a newly placed log! TFTC. Definitely a favourite one for me so far.
Log changed, chatted to some muggles camping at the spot and explained geocaching
This is such a beautiful place, kind of surprised I found the cache though, it’s so tricky but I think I got lucky to notice it’s little place!
I stayed at this nice quite road side stop beside a beautiful old building for two nights while I checked out the surrounding areas.
Me, being a short 5 ft 2', even with my step was too short to look. I could reach up but it was difficult. So I took a photo to locate then was able to reach up with a super strong magnet I just happened to have in the van lol. Grabbed it. Woohoo.
There is space for 3 more logs then new paper will be required.
TFTC. Regards LucyEvony and GeoCookie Dog.

We didn't find this one last time we looked........... this time we found this little cache
Cool old one. A quick find. Spawn of Satan and kittens came to mind.

12031 Located by baby&Mrs gopher at 1400. We have often found that you need to look outside the square. Used the tailgate of the Isuzu for some elevation and had the container in hand soon after.. SL Tnx DaleyEvents.
Found the slippery little sucker. Someone's comment about a stool was the hint I needed as previous to this it had me buggered. Logged as some muggles pulled into the reserve to stretch their legs. Thanks for the fun/stressful cache
A tricky little hide but a very worthwhile location and satisfying find. Thank you
After seeing Kangaroos "boing-boing" across the road at dusk, i pulled over to wait till it got more light and in doing that naturally i chose a spot where a cache was hidden and this 1876-hide was it.
I had a feeling it may be a regular kind of Magnetic but seeing there was almost no possible way one of "those" could be hidden here i switched my search for a more 'Sinister' kind of Magnetic and it was found fairly quickly then
Took the wee thing back to the Geomobile and SL in the warmth of it
Once done it was returned to it's hidey spot.
The log was dry. Signed at 07:30 on Tuesday the 5th of July 2022.
Now "Shoo-Roo" go away, coz i'm on my way... Adelaide awaits

We are here again in Maryborough visiting Lady’s membsec’s mother who turned 90. It’s nice to be around family members but you also need a break so we decided to get out nice and early and target a few caches and then go for any other caches on the way and back. We wanted to visit mother, so arrived back in Maryborough just after lunch and then had more time to chase down a few more caches.
This was the smallest container for the day and took some time before we placed our hand on it.

As part of our last full day in Ballarat we decided to take a day trip to Lexton, Amphitheatre, Avoca and Talbot. We found a variety of cache types as well as completing 3 Adventure Labs. Thanks to the CO's for placing and maintaining these caches and showing us so many aspects of the region.
Found with McAdies and Jelly_Bean14.
I had a great time out here finding these geocaches.
Thanks for hiding this geocache for us to find today.

This is quite a lonely little building but quite well built.
Wonder what it has seen over its lifetime.
Cache found nicely tucked away.
Thanks for the hide.

I was sitting here waiting for a medical appointment via the phone. Could be a lovely area but spoiled by the rubbish that idiots leave behind. Love the building though. Thanks for the hint as I was searching fruitlessly until I read the hint.
Thank you for making me stop at this wonderful all hall.

I'd only seen this hall from the road and was so delighted to see the gorgeous front of it! Thanks for a great hide.
Grabbed this one on the way back to Shepparton after the Avoca event. Had driven past this beautiful building many times through the years when l used to prospect the area. Now l am undertaking a much more enjoyable hobby that is geocaching. Thank you to DaleyEvents for providing and maintaining this cache.
We had been talking about the name of this area so there was no way that we were going to pass up the chance of finding a cache here. Thanks for placing one for us to find.
After attending the event in Avoca at the start of the day, it was finally time for catnap777 and I to turn the car and head for home. We had had a wonderful time with friends and family mining the Pyrenees for as many caches as we could glean and made time for just a couple more finds including this one on our homeward journey.
Well now when anybody asks me, and I'm sure the will, I can proudly tell them that yes, I have been to Bung Bong on Bet Bet.
TFTC DaleyEvents. The tiny hide was found, signed by both of us and returned in good condition. [^]

Found by Mary and David at 11:05. Congratulations for your wonderful cache notes and detail. A FP for your research. We wish more caches would give the history of the area. We do like learning new things. Not the first place we looked, but sensitively placed. Our thanks to opted-out user.
Another camping weekend getaway, this time to explore Avoca and surrounds.
Love the name of this area!

Travelled out to Avoca to join in the celebration events and explore an area I’ve not been to before.
This one was a quick find by papi4506 on our journey to Maryborough. Love the name of this town! Bung Bong! It came up many times in conversation (and randomly) throughout the day! It reminded me of bing bong the imaginary friend in the movie Inside Out!
Thanks opted-out user for the cache.

Found by Muggle Hubby on our way back to Daisy Hill after spending a wonderful day geocaching in the Avoca and Percydale areas.
Thanks for placing it here.
Muggle Hubby was very interested in the fine example here of tuck-pointing here.

With two Events in Avoca, I decided a three day trip would be great, That would give Me time to explore the area and do a handful of the many caches on offer in this region. The weather was fantastic with nice sunny days but the nights sure were chilly with ice on the windscreen each morning. I saw many places and learnt a lot of history on the trip. The Main towns I visited were Avoca, Maryborough, Talbot, Clunes and Creswick.
This was one of the caches I found in My travels.

Left Geelong Thursday morning and cached my way up to Avoca, set up the van in the Caravan Park and glad I changed from the free camp area as the nights were very cold and ice on the screen most mornings.
With 104 caches to log I will have to cut and paste most so thanks to all the folk who placed these caches out there for us to find because without your effort we would not have any to find.
After setting up the caravan it was time to grab a few local caches with my caching buddy au.fait.
Great cache notes and a very good hide, thanks DaleyEvents

After arriving in Avoca and setting up camp, I joined with Bushfire to find a few nearby caches before darkness descended. A sneaky cache which luckily didn’t take too long to find TFTC
Find No. 3290. Found at 4.40pm.
On the way back to Avoca from Maryborough, Mrs Tyred n Cranky stopped off here to grab this cache. The hint was very helpful and the hide was very nifty. Quickly found, log signed, now off to Avoca to pick up Mr Tyred n Cranky before heading for home.

*Heading for Ararat after staying in Creswick for a few days*
Today I decided to head out and clear up some of the Adventure Lab caches and take some photos as I head towards Ararat. A beautiful time of year with all the trees in colour and everything lush and green... A lovely day to be out and about having most of the areas to myself
A bit of a stroll, a bit of a search, made the find, left my mark on log and replaced again.
My sincerest thanks to DaleyEvents for the cache. Appreciate your efforts.
**Warning**, *this hobby can be addictive. It can lead to exercise and finding interesting places you might not have known existed otherwise*. **Beware**: *you may have fun*.

*Took*: Nothing

Cache on!

#329! Beautiful building. Log was full so did not write in it! Very similar style of building and bricks to the Clunes school 1552 built the year before! TFTC Paul and Nic (Paulyj24)
After an accidental DNF on this one we actually found it was just a shame that the last finders fingers went much longer than ours
After looking g for some time we finally found it. The last finder has pushed it way into its godet hole. We fashioned and implement to retrieve.
Thanks for placing.
Thanks for placing.
Checked everywhere hint suggested. DNF stuck my hand deep I to the wall... But nothing metal to be found.
Guh... Anyone have a better hint?

This was a quick find with AussieJoker on our way back from Avoca, easy find once the hint was read. Hard part was getting the log book back in. Anyways, TFTC
Was told by my work to have Monday off from work so i turned that into 3 days, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday and I picked a spot on the map that I can not remember ever visiting so Marybourgh was the spot.
After a couple of great days of caching and catching up with some good friends it was time to head towards home but a longer way home was picked so I could go via some towns to find some more and a few Adventure Labs on the way.
Called into the hall on the way past and no caravans were using it today.
The hall is still in reasonable condition for its age.
After checking a few spots I soon located the cache, added my name to the log and now to continue my journey towards home.
Thanks DaleyEvents TFTC.
