Quick find with Beary Organised. The owner of the premises came out & spoke to us, we had met them yesterday collecting Rocks on the side of the road.We spent well over an hour here with Laurie & Bernie. Very interesting to look through the church & how they had converted into their home.He does beautiful stone work. Now time to head back to Turton.

Found this with CherryRose. Met the owners of this church the other day when they were out sourcing rocks for the grotto they were building. Lovely couple. Laurie and Bernie. Hes done all the work restoring the church and surrounding buildings. Stopped and chatted for a couple of hours and promised to come and see them when were next over. TFTC TNLNSL A Favourite Point because of the owners. They are real characters. Especially Laurie.

Heading to Yorkes for my birthday weekend, just 2 weeks late due to COVID. May is always a difficult caching month I’ve now spent 5.5 weeks in Different mays being detained.
Had a half day from work so found a few caches on my way to my accommodation in Coobowie.
Thanks to all the COs.

Cache #11509
Headed over to the Yorke Peninsula with the Rat today on another Tuesday Mystery Meander, hoping for a FTF, or three. Found quite a few Used 2Bs and Game Set and Matches, as well as an AdLab that's been waiting for far too long for me to do. After the main aims were achieved kept on caching until dark by finding a few more on the Gone Fishn' trail. A good day with good weather, good luck and good company.
Thanks to earthlight for putting out this cache for us all to find.

Ran off for the day with Jack and Sebastbat, escaped the Barossa summer rain and enjoyed the scenery of the YP.

Wow we sure appreciated finding a church without having to check its foundation stone or answer a census TwistedCool So much faith, community, and history in all these old places!

Much thanks to earthlight for placing this cache on the SA YP map Cool

---

Out every day locating and logging using some or all of the resources of GSAK (Geocaching Swiss Army Knife), Whereyougo, Garmin Montana 750i, Montana 680t, Etrex 35, Samsung S20+, Samsung S9, with Geocaching App, c:Geo, or Geooh Go, and Android Auto and other maps... or often with just plain old dumb luck WinkCoolBig Grin Quite a bit of that!!!
*Logs are composed and published using GSAK of course.*

Please do stay safe when caching.
Keep a lookout for bogs, snakes, surprise cliffs, boxing roos, wombats, bulldust, and floods,
try not to get tetanus from rusty mint tins and don't fall out of trees...
-- -- -- -- -- -- -- but especially lookout for bugs from alpha to omega !!! . [xx(]

Ensure that Travel Bugs are the only bugs you share and pass on Big Grin
Now our borders are open - even more important to sanitise and safely distance!!!

We do really appreciate all those placing quality caches out and about around the countryside,
it keeps our game safe, fun, and interesting Cool

The three of us were spending some time on Yorke Peninsula, and today Mr Tardis went out for a caching run south of Port Vincent.

I'm happy to report that found this cache in the first place I looked - don't you just love it when that happens?

A lovely old building that is getting a new lease on life as a home.

Signed the log. Thanks for the cache earthlight.

Nice to find another in this fun series. So waiting for the 2021 census results.

I will apologize right now, because everything from here on is here solely for the purpose of padding the word count.

The cache was found in the last place we looked, which as usual was not the first place we looked. Thanks for placing a fun cache guys. We do love your work. We signed the logbook. Of course we did that is way we play this game. Cache in pretty good condition for the cache age.

Day 2 of our break on the Peninsular staying at Edithburgh. With the bored and not interested better half Mr Adder only had minutes at each GZ to make a find. Some were quick while others exceeded the time limit causing angst to she who must be obeyed. A quick find with the hint. We did not seem to attract any attention of the residents. Thank you for the placement of the Used To Be A Church #0110 cache earthlight find number 8556 on 1 November 2021 at 12:45 pm

A short detour out of town to find this cache, another cache in this series ticked off. Cache is all good

A quick overnight trip to the Yorkes for 1.5 days of solid caching. I did a bit of the geoart by myself before meeting up with Davidwazza for a majority of the day caching around Innes National Park. With an event in the evening in Edithburgh headed over there before going for a nice walk along the water front for the evening. Day 2 I made my way from Edithburgh along the coast line and back home by lunch time. A total of 169 caches for the trip.

Thanks for the cache

I’ve been travelling quite a bit over the past few months and only arrived back in Adelaide on Monday following a short trip to Tasmania. However, after only a few days I was getting itchy feet again so thought it might be good to try and squeeze one last trip in before Christmas. The Yorke Peninsula looked like a good option, so I made a last-minute decision yesterday to head down there today.

After finding another new cache not far away this morning, I noticed this building and thought it would be a great candidate for the ‘Used 2B’ series. So it was a pleasant surprise when about half an hour or so later, while doing the (seemingly endless) wherigo at Edithburgh, I noticed that this cache had just been published.

So it was back up to Coobowie to a place I’d not long been before for a quick find and my sixth *FTF* for the day!

Thanks earthlight for the cache.
