Out caching this evening. Now on my way back to base.A quick park and grab. My last find for the day.TFTC
Nice quick find here. Had to leap across small stream of marshy water to get to gz. Glad it's not further along road where there is quite a wide stream to navigate. Tftc
In Auckland visiting family for Xmas time for a few geocaches and a walk in the rain showers.
Tftc. Good find. To the clown who thought putting in a disposable face mask in there as a swappable. Not nice! Have taken it out and binned it.
#461We all know that it aint over til the fat lady sings. Well fat lady 888 did not sing so our geocaching adventure continues.
Sunday is day off which makes it caching time headed near the airport and in the industrial zone. Tftc
First find of the day with rustynz, biking around the ponds in the wind. Thanks for the hide
After a two hour walk around the Mangere Lagoon Path with a substantial detour into Ambury Farm Park via the Lost Gardens Walk its time to grab a few more hides before home time. I parked up on the side of the road and crossed over to access ground zero. I was a bit confused with the hint so followed my intuition instead. A nice quick find in the end. Cheers for the cache placement!
Located. Haha super easy find however really busy place to cache so dodging the muggles is the exciting part. Found w MrPretty
No fat lady was seen in the signing of this log. Though I made a meal of finding it. All good in the end. Thank you for the placement.

A nice quick find here, once I got "inside", fortunately there were no muggles parked nearby watching the birds?? TFTC

I was out with Supernanny today enjoying the sunshine and giving my replacement knee a lot of exercise doing the odd AdLab and a few trads that got in the way.
I replaced the full log sheets in the cache with a new clean one.
Cheers for the cache.

Crazy weather to be out caching today, with wild winds and heavy rain. But when you want your caching numbers boosted for a particular date there's nothing for it but to get out there and get it done!
One more find wanted, and the last was a DNF (or rather, cache missing) so where can we make a quick find so we can head home and get dry? Remembered we had one or two unfound along the way to Puketutu Island so headed for this one. It was a good choice as I could park right by GZ and the cache was a nice quick find. Thanks! Looking forward to a hot shower and dry clothes.

Quick find on our hit and miss trip along the causeway - so many cars parked up right in the wrong spots. Will have to come back some time.
A nice quick find, first for the day. Thanks for placing your cache.
I'm in Auckland and I am exploring the region while I am based here. Today was a lovely sunny day, I borrowed by bro's bike and cruised around some of the time. I had a great time.
Thanks to all CO's for publishing and maintaining their caches. Cheers.

Went all the way around before I saw the obvious and easy way in to this one. Thanks!
Out doing a near-by Ad Lab and stopped to pick up these couple we must have missed from previous caching adventures out this way - easy find
Found - Mrs McMike2012 & I now live full-time in our caravan & travel the country visiting places we want to visit … we are now parked in Auckland for the next few days … decided to go for a walk to check out some caches … this one was a somewhat easy find, completed the log & replaced it … pleased to add another 'smiley face' to the tally … TFTC ... TN:LN:SL ... #2,814 for us.
A car that had driven quietly past heading towards the island at the last cache had turned around and came roaring back down - way too loud and fast for along here. TFTC # 18,476
I spent the morning looking after the Grandkids while their parents worked from home. I dropped the kids off at daycare in time to have lunch then sleeps and set off to get todays geocaching targets.
I was hoping to grab a few puzzles, get the last two TMGT caches and head out towards the airport in plenty of time to collect my son at 6.30pm. I was pleased as I achieved my goals and got 24 finds plus 2 labs for the day.
I parked up out in the island carpark at 3.30pm and hoped I'd have enough time to do both sides of the island before dark. Got back from both sides at 5.15 or so and drove to these last 3 on the road back in. I was feeling tired of walking so I was glad I could park and just grab these. Another easy find to add to the tally. Thanks for your hides in this area to keep travelers and their rides entertained while they wait

Watch out for broken glass, almost cut my fingers on what I thought was a cache but actually brown beer bottle glass. A quick find nonetheless. Please re-hide well
Needed to get out and about today, and going bush was not really an option, so headed over to this area as it had been a while since my last visit.....
Parked near by and broke out the bike for a quick ride around the area....

Quick find after finding a few similar hides along here today. It was so muggy out that it was amazing how cool it felt by standing under the hint item!! I didn’t want to come back out! TFTC
3rd find for the afternoon. No issues here. There is a cop parking just up the way trying to catch speeding vehicles, apart from that it’s pretty much business as usual. TFTC tramyard.
I decided to pop out here for a few caches on a fine but breezy afternoon. I had never been to Puketutu Island, even in the 8 years I lived in Auckland, and to be honest knew little about it.
But curiosity brought me here. That and a couple of target caches, a short Ad Lab, and plenty of trads. I enjoyed the different view of parts of the city, and the birdlife. Not too many issues, just the one DNF.

With Keylev and B4Dawn being childless this week we were making the most of it. Day 2 of after work caching in a few Auckland areas to do some mop up work.
Jumped out of car and immediately spotted from outside tree cover. Forced way in for cache and signed the log.

As luck would have it NZTravellers, B4Dawn and I realised that all our other work and social commitments aligned to give us some free time this week so what better way to put this to use then some afternoon / evening / night caching the WHOLE week!!! This is day 1 so we were all refreshed and raring to go...wonder what we will be like by friday ha ha
Quick find.
Thanks for the cache.

Thanks for the cache.
A not so mad day caching,.. but I certainly benefited! Out with Keylev and NZTravellers again. As they have all gotten most of the caches in this area, it was up to be to play catchup to these 2. They were feeling extremely charitable and I wasn't going to pass the opportunity up. Sure they used me for cache maintenance labour, but as long as I get to sign the logs, I don't very much care
Easy park and grab. TFTC

Out today caching with Anastriel, and our final physical cache of the day. It was a quick easy spot and grab this one, and after signing and replacing it was time to go and find some food and drink. Thanks for the cache. #1297
Photographing dabchicks on the other side of the road. Now ... once I got my tiny brain around what GL meant (!) ... there it is.
Thanks
Thanks
Camouflage but good spot. Heaps of steamy cars parked on the side, don’t wanna know why. lol
Another nice replacement cache along here, thanks for keeping the area full of caches, cheers
Good to get another tramyard cache to finish off the finds for the day, thanks for your contributions here. Now, off to the Mall!! Yay.
Our weekend plans of a ride out to Raglan were put on hold as our son and his family needed to head down to Auckland due to family reasons and we were able to put them up for the weekend. With uncertainty around what we were doing for the Saturday I put aside any caching plans and awaited the outcomes. We ended up going to the CITO, I then got to hang out with CyclicalCaching and his partner for one path around part of the island, then around the other way with alunb. Managed to get quite a few of the caches around here before a trip out to Sylvia Park for some retail therapy.

Clearing out as many caches in the area as possible so popped in here for a quick find of this BBC (big beautiful cache). Rehid with a bit more cover than I found it. Thanks for the XL (comparatively) cache!
#9396. I have flown up to Auckland for a long weekend. Came out here mainly to start the adventure lab but saw a new cache had turned up along the causeway. Pretty sure this is my third cache in this area after the others were archived. Parked close by and wandered over to GZ. Quickly spotted as it was sitting out in the open inside the bush. Signed the logbook and replaced as found. Thanks tramyard for the cache.
Would have run past this cache four times whilst doing the Villa Maria half marathon in January! Still at least we’ve found it now. Nice an easy to fill a dot day. SL TNLN TFTC
This time we had to wait between different waves of cyclists to collect the cache and then agin to return it. Very busy around here
Lots of mozzies around but quick find with nzanz. New years cache money. What a sunset. Tftc
Another round of flying insects and another cache to find. By the time TF had taken me back to my car they were everywhere. No worries with the cache though. Thanks
Out walking the coastal path. Nobody around today so made a nice quick find. TFTC
