heading off to an eventa couple of stops along the way nice quick find, now to retrieve
On our way to a local event, but there's always time to pick up an extra cache on the way.Little bit of GPS bounce but soon had the cache in hand.Log signed as Team B (FastEd 59 and barbbowman)TFTC
With the demise of many of the older caches it is only possible to do four complete grids of the Jasmer Challenge.(hidden months) To do so involves travel overseas to complete it. I would be happy to get one! Although I've qualified for the AUSmer Challenges in Australia, I've set myself a personal goal to find at least 4 caches for as many hidden months as I can. April 2020 is the only later month where I haven't yet found the four and we all know what happened then!Luckily I can find enough caches for that month in Brisbane so here I am for this one on the way home from an event. Bit of a stretch but got my name on the log and another one off my list.TFTC
Today I drove up to Bunyaville in search of a couple of caches with attributes I needed. Then I spent a couple of hours collecting some other caches in the area. This one didn't take long to spot but retrieval took a while because I kept waiting for a break in the endless traffic. Eventually one came and I swung into action and grabbed the cache. Thanks for the cache powerhunt!
Caching with RoddyC and Hatzofff today so headed to a different area for a CITO but couldnt find any rubbish so off to get to get a few Smilies now. . A bit of a walk but not too far. Quickly found when at GZ. Log signed and cache replaced as found. TFTC
What better way to fill out a morning than to go caching after not attending a CITO event nearby!
Stretchy.
Log signed and cache replaced as found at 10.54 am on 19th August 2023. TFTC, powerhunt.

powerhunt I found your cache Where you go to kalanchoe on 15/4/2023, 12:20 pm. This is my find 5013 and find # 13 today. A quick and easy drive by. Thanks for the cache, mate! TNSLLN
Solo caching today. Able to retrieve with TOTT but unable to put back in exact position. Cache is now at a lower point, apologies for this. TFTC
#7 on my solo outing today. Quick park and grab. Log book is not full and in good order. TFTC, TFTH & TFTSF
Out at dusk on a public holiday to collect a few smileys before dark. I only just managed to reach this one. Cache was in good condition but log is full. TFTC
This morning, I attended Mitchelton parkrun to start out my day with a 5 km run, but then had a small time window to find a few nearby geocaches, before needing to grab coffees and return back home.
After celebrating a one-year birthday party, jesswrigley and I took the drive south to Robina and Currumbin, where we strolled along the beach and checked out the artwork sculptures on display as part of the Swell festival. It was only a short visit as we needed to make a seminar/dinner at Mt Gravatt, so we weren't able to explore the area too much today.
On my way at collecting coffees, I thought I would make a stop at this cache, and it was a quick cache find in the second place that I looked. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks powerhunt for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

Not where I figured it wood b but a quick find regardless. & I b tall, so a tippy toe retrieve & replace. BTW, ants have found it & deem it a gr8 place to nest & breed....T4TC:-)
Could of reached a few years ago although I could clearly see it. I guess that's a Sigh of the times.
Yet another morning spent filling calendars with traditional caches. Quick easy find
Walked past this one many times on my dog walks until I finally remembered a pencil. A bit of a stretch but achievable. Cache in good order. TFTC.
Hi powerhunt, just found your cache. I like the history caches about Everton Park (you should do some more). I enjoy reading about Brisbane’s early history. As for this one, are there actually any of these trees in your street?
Post park run caching! Did some cache maintenance on our own cache then headed over to get this one. Didn't realise it would need a tall person... This was a bit of an issue as neither of us are tall... However, I got my muggle friend to stand on my back and she grabbed it. Looking inconspicuous is a tad hard when you're right next to the road with one person standing on top of the other... hopefully no one took much notice. TFTC!
I think the T rating should be a little higher as this was out of my reach. But with a TOTT I got the cache down and name entered. TFTC powerhunt
Out for some quick caching with team DanSanHai. At first I was confused by the coordinates but soon changed my approach and spotted the container - very clever. With a bit of stealth the log was signed and replaced. TFTC.
SharpeM and i decided to pick up a few smileys and had a great day . Interesting about the street name which is relevant for these times. At GZ we spotted the cache and then needed my TOTT to retrieve it. Thankyou for all the fun
Found in this lovely street with Quesera on a beautiful day thanks for placing this cache here
A happy day out caching with geo buddies.
We found this one early on during our day out. It was a great to be enjoying the premature spring weather and a happy time was enjoyed by all. Log signed.

Another fun catch/cache up with the Domsky Dou. There was meant to be a Community event today but was cancelled due to COVID-19 restrictions. We had a very enjoyable day still, lots of people out and about, the weather was perfect! Beautiful blue skies, not hot not cold either and of course wonderful company! We collected 17 caches and a tick as a bonus!
Thanks for the cache and taking us here powerhunt. Cache was blending in nicely. We used a TOTT to reach it but actually ditch the tool replacing it.

I was heading to a dinner engagement on this side of town and had time to find a few caches on the way.
This one appeared on the GPS as I was driving past so I stopped to check it out.
I started searching in a different location but once I moved I spotted the cache. I had to return to the car for a TOTT to retrieve the cache.

Pulled up and the kid without even knowing anything about the cache was like ‘I see it’ and went for a grab only to be foiled by the fact that it was some 25m back on the main drag. Waiting between the afternoon traffic before grabbing and then replacing it once more.
Nice quick grab for a change. We had been scrambling around in the bush for a cache previous to attempting this one. We spotted this one quickly, signed log and returned without too much drama. TFTC
Took a little while to find as I was looking in the wrong area, but finally spotted it and managed to reach it. TFTC
Quick last cache of the day. Came with Erm_the_worm although she had already found it. Great spot/container. TFTC!
First time geocaching with our “newly local” best friends! Our tribe departed on a wander to occupy the kids’ time and energy! Found with the help of J & L, plus N, L, T & L! First ever cache find by N, L, T & L!
We evicted the nest of jalepeno sky raisins this afternoon. Should be safer to grab this one now.
Out doing some research for a new Adventure Lab cache and thought it best we collect a few smilies on the way.
Quickly spotted our target & used a handy TOTT, that lives in my pocket, to retrieve the cache without disturbing our little winged friends.
Could be a struggle for those who may be a little closer to the ground? [?]
Made our mark and replaced as found.

As today was quickly coming to an end, I remembered I needed a cache for the day. Rainy and getting dark, I picked one of my closest to home, one I've been saving for such an occasion.
Approaching gz i spotted the cache and waited for a break in the traffic to swoop.
Log signed, cache replaced as found.

That’s a very busy street beware of the wasp nest forming next to the cache tftc
I pulled over safely nearby and went to the likely spot but aimed way too low.
A bit of thought led to a hop, skip and a jump (so to speak) and the cache was in hand.
All good here so TFTC.

It was a previous log that had me change my line of sight and make this a quick find inbetween traffic... tftc...
very happy to have other member of team with me today soon had cache in hand TFTC
This cache was simple and straightforward. I thank the powers that be for my height, because I could reach the cache without a leg up (but only just!). My kingdom for two inches, my friends say.
It appears the kalanchoe is useful for more than just asthma and to ward off the unwelcomed 'rona. Did you know...
Kalanchoe /ˌkæləŋˈkoʊ.iː/, or kal-un-KOH-ee, or kal-un-kee, also written Kalanchöe or Kalanchoë, is a genus of about 125 species of tropical, succulent flowering plants in the family Crassulaceae, mainly native to Madagascar and tropical Africa. ***Kalanchoe was one of the first plants to be sent into space***, sent on a resupply to the Soviet Salyut 1 space station in 1971.
That's kinda cool!
Thanks for the cache, powerhunt.

My wife and I decided to walk up from our last cache. We were just killing time waiting for our son’s wisdom teeth surgery to finish so we weren’t in any hurry. I definitely wasn’t in any hurry seeing I was the one paying for it. If I didn’t think about the upcoming bills they don’t exist right?
I often stop thinking about power bills, rates, water bills, phone bills, gym fees and even that 30 year old high-school library fine for not returning a book. I can’t believe how rich I am at the moment. I even have enough money to post the imminent bail for forgetting so much stuff but I’m sure I will forget to think about that as well to save more money.
A nice quick find here this afternoon and I don’t want to think about why I’m in the area. Looks like I’m rich again. tftc

Didn't love the traffic volume passing GZ but made a quick find. Thanks for the cache
Thankfully I came in the early morning as this would be quite trick later on with passing traffic! Tftc.
Out and about with DisSister. Thank goodness DisSister has a extra couple of centimetres on me so it was up to her to retrieve this one. All good. Thanks powerhunt.
This one was a bit tricky to retrieve and replace with all the passing traffic and the neighboring dog barking but we succeeded in the end. Cache in good condition. TFTC
Out with my son today to find the last one for today. Thank you for bringing me here.
Cache a day to keep the doctor away, or is it to keep me sane. No it’s to keep my streak alive. powerhunt TFTC *560* streak. *3420* Finds

Out for a bit of caching in the dark, on the dark side.
A quick find and then on to the next one
Thank you for this cache power hunt

A lazy Sunday snaffling up some caches that have crept into my interest zone recently. Quick and easy at GZ, in between passing traffic.
Thanks powerhunt for entertaining me at this location.

What a story this one has! All week we had been stuck at home (thanks Covid!) and I had been keeping my eye out for a possible ftf but on Friday we went out to do some geocaching. Just after we left though, this cache was published, and when I came home and saw the notification and how close it was to us it was pretty frustrating!!! This cache was a good cache though, and great to see some more in the area. Tftc!!!
Quick find once I realised it had nothing to do with the tree in question. Waited for a break in traffic then made the grab.

Started with this one this morning. Helped by a young lady going past on a bicycle. TFTC.
I had just arrived home from work and was chatting to a caching buddy when I began to get notifications of new cache publications. I perused them while we were chatting and spotted a new cache not far away. I jumped into the goemobile and made my way to GZ. I parked in the side street. As I came around the corner, I spotted a familiar person running towards me, followed by another person I recognised. The cache was quickly spotted and our names added to the log as joint **FTF**. Out today looking around the park lands with team Tyrrell and playing with the girls. When all of a sudden the phone starts going ding, ding, ding, a few new caches in Calamvale, a couple in Narangba, a few more scattered around the place. I said why can’t there be one just near us and we laughed, then suddenly one that is 5 k’s away. I looked at team t and said lets go, it was like herding cats. Let’s go let’s go!
Finally on our way and the traffic was killing me. I parked about 100 metres away and started my walk up to where I thought the cache could be. Then in the distance I saw a set of legs searching in the tree. Oh no someone else is here, around the corner came Selva Girls, we both smiled at each other and then I spotted the cache. Yeah baby I got it! A joint first to find for all of us, it is only fair as I do owe her a favour.
The girls were so excited to see their names in another new and fresh log. A few minutes chatting and then we all were on our separate ways.
TFTC a great hide.

I headed out to attempt the FTF for this one, but ended up being 2nd. GZ seemed obvious, and the cache soon spotted. It blends in very well. TFTC, powerhunt.
