Slight detour heading in to work this morning to keep the streak rolling. Saw something interesting that was slightly off coordinate wise but thought it was worth checking out. Turns out, it had nothing to do with the cache. Didnt take too long after that to make the find. Thanks Jodanz#1222
Nice to get this one and not have my son throw it in the river by mistake this time.
Came round here once before but there were too many fishermen trolls. Today they are fishing away from this spot giving us a chance to grab it. Creative stuff! No trolls were harmed in retrieving this cache.
Nice easy find here thanks to the good hint and coordinates. Our youngest daughter recently bought and moved to the Lower Hutt area so our finds in that locale have been increasing over the last few visits. With her birthday coming up this week we headed down on Saturday to drop off her presents, as well as some more of her stuff stored at our house. After all of that we headed out for a visit to the local area (shops/caches) with the hope that the threatened weather never eventuated (it didn't). A nice quick and easy 10 caches then back to pick them up and head back North a short while after. Thanks to the COs for their cache hides and efforts.
Great idea for a cache. I was able to get smart and find the right place to search for the cache. TFTC.
Ah, slight problem here. I think I just witnessed my 11 year old find the cache without realising it and then throw it in to the sea. I've messaged the cache owner. Sorry everyone!
**taybee** is caching again with **taybee nz** for the dayQuick find here today All in good order, sign log book as **taybee (** *joint sign* **TB's** or **taybee / nz )** TFTC Cache was found at **20/02/2024 @ 13:33:00**
We are staying at the Top 10 camp ground near by and were out on our bikes enjoying the river trails and grabbing a few caches along the way. TFTC. Cache all good.
About a year ago I dropped the kids off at junglerama and having an hour to spend and a dog to walk decided to head to a nearby cache. I spent a very unfruitful hour exploring the bridge and scratching my head and coming up completely blank. We were walking past today on a caching expedition so approached this one with a little trepidation based on my earlier failed efforts. However in all of about 30s we had the cache in hand. Apparently my cache finding skills have improved somewhat in the intervening months
We missed it on first look but its so obvious when you think about it. We wondered what the other object nearby was. TFTC
One of our favourite caches!! A pun-loving whanau, and a beautiful day to watch the rowers on the ocean. TFTC!
I had to go to Seaview to purchase an item for my snail shell which didn't take long at all. So what better way to spend a bit of extra time than to sign off a few caches. Can it be that or not? Yep, it is. I noticed the "Cone of Silence" has the words written backwards.Cheers for the cache, Jodanz.
Cool hide me and my fiancee found it together. Log is soaking wet so wasn't able to put out names on but took photos for proof
Very happy to turn this frown upside down! One of us looked all around the hint object without seeing it, and one of us did a bit more lateral thinking. Lovely time of day to be here.. just around sunset... watching the ducks float by. Watch out ducks... just heard duck shooting season has begun. Thanks Jodanz for anther enjoyable cache!
The can was actually found by *Filser1* and me. Here everything is as requested by the CO.

Stopbank construction work means the site is currently fenced off. Will reinstate once the works are complete.
Went to replace but area is fenced of due to construction so will fix once the works are over.
Found it on our way past on Saturday but cache and logbook was soaked. The lid was open and it was full of water. Driving back past today I put some florist paper in so I could sign it, but it's a bit of a tight fit so sugges the CO removes the old log. Thanks for the cool cache!
Stayed in Petone last night in our way to Wellington. This morning had to visit nearby marina dump station which was a good excuse to collect some caches around here. Enjoyed the stroll along the waterfront. A quick find here. Cache all fine. Thanks for the smiley.
