Logs
Found it after 2nd attempt. Very good hiding space and very thoughtful how they did it. Well done.
Went looking today and didn't find. Has it been moved? Looked all around the stone fence and water metres. No luck. Maybe go back in a couple days.
Replaced the damp book, cache relocated slightly (15cm) to prevent water ingress.
I spent the day around the North Haven and Semaphore area grabbing some caches along the way. Perfect Spring sunny day to be out geocaching. All good here. Found without problems. Thank you OZGrumpy, for placing Game Set and Match #13 - PATC for the geocaching community.# # #15290 # #
Quick find, which was good, because we've had a couple of dnf. We replaced the log book, which only had one log in it. We replaced it with a book in a bag, hopefully that will keep it dry. Thanks for the cache Ozgrumpy
Found it.Unfortunately the log book is completely wet, hence I was unable to sign.Filmore
Coordinates changed from:S 34 49.902 E 138 29.284Coordinates changed to:S 34 49.914 E 138 29.256Distance from original: 157.9 feet or 48.1 meters.Muggles know of this hide location. Want to keep cache, so I have moved it nearby.
Had a good look with no luck. People are saying its easy and we think we know where the cache could have been but its not there. Could you please check if the cache is still there
Checked my numbers and realised I needed/wanted one more find to round things off. This was that cache and was soon located after parking in the bowls club and walking to GZ, avoiding then footie-kickers that parked alongside. All good here and replaced as found after adding my Monica (sic).Keen to maintain my current SA streak (a modest 12 days but hey, happy with that). The nature of my work pattern today means a trip into work, back for some office type stuff, then back into work again later before some more office-based evening catch-ups. What this means is . . . . .having an hour or so to find some caches in the hottest part of the day! Just enough caches to round out the stats and clear a part of the gameboard North of me. Thanks to the COs, as ever.
Over from Perth for a few days to attend the Leap Day Mega. After the big day yesterday, today's plan was to grab a few caches in Semaphore near the event, then take a slow drive back to the hotel via a select few caches, ad labs and LGAs. This was one that I stopped off at today while enjoying a nice walk to explore the area after the event. Thought this was going to be on the large metal host initially but the GPS settled somewhere else as I neared. A nice easy find! TFTC
Today is a special day: leap day. I planned geocaching for the day, to find caches of different types and different sizes.I found about 40 caches today, of 10 different types: traditional, multi-cache, mystery, letterbox, Wherigo, virtual, EarthCache, event, Mega event, and Adventure Lab caches. Found caches of all five cache sizes: micro, small, regular, large, and other. This was the seventh find for today. Parked on the street, and walked to GZ. Cache has been found easily. Signed the log book, and placed it back,Thanks for the simple traditional cache series, OZGrumpy. I like the "Game Set and Match" cache series.
Found by Mary and David at 11:30. We do miss this series back in Victoria. Surprised that this one is a Trad. Glad of some shade. Our thanks to OZGrumpy.
Found it! Accurate coordinates and quick find. All quiet here at this great little oval. Today is forecast to be fairly warm so headed to the coast with the aim of finding as many caches as possible starting from North Haven and heading south along the coastline. TFTC!
Found it but it's been moved assume it's been broken off where it needs to be pm me for more details
Unfortunately DNF, not sure if i just suck or if its not there anymore lol :] good luck to anyone else who might be looking!
Woo! found it after a while since it was either moved or out gps wasn't working. empty when opened so we chucked a few things in there! first one of the day
TFTC watching my son play cricket and thought why not go for a walk. Before I knew it I found a cache!
Catching up on logging - A bunch of JMelb's family, including ourselves, have travelled over from Melbourne to Adelaide to visit family over here. Today we had a free morning so set off to do some caches nearby. This was the last one. The nice hide was found pretty quickly. Off to Belair National Park for a catch up with one branch of the family now!!
