Unfortunately it looks like the dragon’s lair has been demolished in order to facilitate upgrades to the highway.
Found this easily, the co-ords were spot on for us.
Loved the dragon at GZ.

Awesome (and easy) cache. Unfortunately, the cache needs maintenance, as the structure holding the log is broken.
Haha, I have to admit that I find caches at locations like this are a little bit awkward as it seems like a desperate toilet stop , and who would think there is so much traffic here on a Tuesday morning. Thanks for the fun cache!

Cool little roadside cache, definitely advise using parking waypoint. Logbook is dry but container for it is a bit worse for wear. Thank you
forgot to log this one from a few days ago. Traveling from Devonport to Hobart to visit family, quick find on the way.. TFTC
Whilst travelling to Launceston I stopped on the side road to stretch my legs for a while.
This cache was found quickly but I didn’t bring something to write with, so 4 trips through the fence later I had the cache logged and replaced.

Out with tassietan for a caching day.
Parked in the suggested spot, nice to be off the busy highway just a bit, and walked through the long grass (eyes out on stalks looking for slithering things).
An easy find, thanks Nataliec1234.

I have stopped at this spot once before when I was caching solo and heading up the NW coast, but didn't get out of the car as I was a bit pushed for time and it seemed it might have been a bit of a trek. Out and about with RoadieM today and it was much easier than first thought - always a bit easier caching with a friend I find. Tramped through the long grass (and stomped our feet to ward off slithering creatures) and RoadieM made the quick find. Thanks Natalie1234.
That was a delightful cache thank you for placing this one Quick find luckily traffic wasn't too busy TFTC

The dragon was guarding the treasure but we managed to sneak past & snag the goods.

Quick find, love the cache container . Found with TinkaFairy & FettaisBetta . It was a bitterly cold day - had been snowing along the highway a few minutes earlier - and was having a bit of trouble getting the pen to write so just signed as P32. TFTC .
Awesome little find, recommend walking along the fence to the right until you get close so you don’t unnecessarily push through trees
TFTC.

He had just eaten at midday so i was lucky, by just a mere 9 minutes

Second last cache in tassie, driving back up towards Devonport to head home tomorrow on the ferry. I chose this as a quick stretch the legs cache on our long drive back from Hobart. Cache found, no problems.
Due to reports of damage to the container, we've paid a visit to the cache. The container was, unfortunately, unsalvageable. As a result, we've replaced it with a smaller version. The cache now contains only a log book - BYO writing implement now required.
Happy caching!

A very cute cache with a magical little guardian. [^]
We didn't raid anything from the hoard but left our signatures and lots of smiles.

A beaut cache.
Well thought out instructions for parking.
We needed this cache for a 2020 cache in Tassie and are very glad we chose this one.
Loved the dragon and his hoard.
Took nothing and left nothing except our signatures, as the guardian dragon had a watchful eye on us
A favourite point from us

Out for a week in the hybrid camper. This is a good drive-by even when towing 'cos there is good parking off the bitumen. Nice hide, although the bottom has come off the container, but at this stage everything is dry and the log a good one to write in. Thanks Natalie1234.
A cute cache. Found while traveling home from a business meeting in Campbell Town. Tftc
I found the little dragon to be at home. Unfortunately his house is not coping with the amount of rain we have had and it is falling to pieces.

Thank you so much for this amazing find. we have been looking around tasmania this weekend and this is one of the best, most cared for geocache.
quick find on our way back to Burnie. Everything in excellent order and log signed
this cache is awesome and very easily accessed via the highway with plenty of room to pull off regardless which direction you are heading. A fav point from us.

Ok folks, as we said in the cache description, PLEASE DO NOT climb the barbed wire fence. We’d hate for someone to get hurt, or the fence to get wrecked. There is plenty of space to pull off safely on the highway side of the fence.
5/25 for the day. I decided to do the fence climb. It was no competition for the rolled up blanket I put over it.
Dragon still on guard.
Dragon still on guard.
Wasn’t sure how to access this cache but decided to would be safer to jump the fence than park on the highway. It was dark but still a quick find, I like the well made and creative aspect of this one
Today I decided to head down to Hobart for the day and collect some targeted DT caches and some others in amongst them for the day, apart from the 30mins of rain the day was quite pleasant for caching.
All up 49 finds and 10 adventure finds.
Thanks for the cache

Found the dragon very quickly and after ascertaining that he didn't hold the treasure within noticed the nearby stash.
As I emerged from this one I'm sure all the passing traffic imagined the worst of my reason for being up there!!!
Thanks, a nice effort made here and a very cute cache guardian.

Our initial attempt to get to this cache was thwarted by a barbed wire fence. Once we had navigated that obstacle, accurate coordinates and the hint led to a quick find. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks Nataliec1234 for the cache.
PS Forgot to add that the cache was very well presented and we restored the dragon to its rightful spot.
Today, on our 40th Wedding Anniversary, we decided to travel to Swansea for lunch and to collect a few caches on the way and after. In total we travelled over 400 km and this was one of the caches we found. After leaving Swansea we diverted into Dolphin Sands and then through to the Midland Highway via the Lake Leake Road. Last time we were here we missed this one, so nice to stop and find today. We like the cache guardian. TFTC
Suscoe woke this morning to steady rain and a cold breeze.
We were heading to Hobart today and we had hope of finding a few caches on our way along the roads that we travelled.
The rain started to clear later in the morning and we ended up having a fine but cold afternoon.
The rain coats were broken out for the first time this trip.
Thanks to Nataliec1234 for this hide.
A nice touch and we enjoyed the cache.

Nice container, another good one for younge cachers. All good at GZ. Thanks for placing a cache here.
On the way home from some local FTFs and decided to completed the ones that had appeared since our last trip up the highway. Located quickly after dodging the shrubbery. Clever box and guardian. Took very small pink unicorn because it is a miniature version of the soft toy that our grand-daughter calls "municorn".

This one took us a few moments to get into the corerct parking location and then it was a quick search and a great little find.
Great work from this CO yet again.
A quick drive up from Hobart to attend a CITO which involved an overnight in Ulverstone, we got to find over 40 hand picked caches, some were picked for their D/T others for their age and the due to a bit of good luck we got three FTF's but the stand out for me had to be one i couldn't get to 7 years ago due to not wanting to rock hop for over a kilometer in the dark.

After finding Woolly Bully we continued along the road, not really understanding the parking coordinates.... until we got there. Now we get it [B)]
We whipped around to where you meant for us to park and headed back to GZ. We has already spotted where the cache was hidden from our first look so it was an easy find once we got here. Great little cache and theme, Thanks Nataliec1234 we enjoyed it.
An overnight trip to the 'sunshine coast of Tasmania' was arranged with stainless steel rat so we could clock up another CITO. We cherry picked a few caches on the trip, oldies, interesting D/Ts, some multis and a selection of GCAs as well. As always our list was bigger that time allowed so some were skipped. We were also lucky to score three first to finds which we were grateful for. Another good weekend away.

Parked on Birmingham Road and had to climbed over the fence for this one. Definitely easier if you park at the given coordinates

Long day completing the Apple Geoart trail, checked into our overnight accommodation and found just enough energy to grab some quick PnGs around town before dinner. Extra bonus smiley as this new publication wasn’t even in my recently uploaded PQ. Luckily J+J was using the live app for up to date opportunities. Got to admit, heard the name pronounced differently until I came to upload my log online (LOL
Hello Nataliec1234 thank you for the cache.
I was back up this way getting breakfast so on the way I just had to stop off and have a look at your very nice well stocked cache.
I was surprised to find a blank log book but happy for the *FTF *.

Another new cache around the Oatlands area thanks NatalieC1234. Pulled up on the highway and wandered along to a nicely built GZ. Opening it up I spotted a little green eyed dragon guarding a lovely gold cache. On distracting the keeper I opened the cache to find lots of jewels for the taking. However just as I was ready to plunder the treasure I realised the treasure was affixed to the cache by dragon's breath and impenetrable. Plenty of other swag though but will leave that for the kids. The green eyed guardian allowed me to log replace and escape back to the car without a singe. Great effort again and a FP from me.
