Best usage of old railway line that I've seen..Good usage of an artwork to place a cache.
T-Tech and I are visiting from Brisbane and while he did some maintenance for our daughter I went for a lovely wander around Woodman Park collecting geocaches First I parked at Coogee Beach then took the walk towards John Graham Recreation Reserve and back. Now I'm driving to the Caravan Park for the next walk, but stopped along the way to grab this one. A few spots to check here, and being slightly vertically challenged made things tricky, but a natural arm extender did the trick. TFTC, Barnzy12.
Last one after an enjoyable day in the winter sunshine along this well transformed stretch of coast. Been coming along this road my whole life one way or another. Now days usually just to cache! We spotted the cache and got it down, I was a bit curious how to get it back but then got a bit bush creative and had it easily back in position and definitely out of our reach! Thanks Barnzy12.
We had time for one more on this great day for caching, so we thought we might as well end with a good welcoming. We parked next to gz and started our search and after a few minutes spotted the prize. Once retrieved we signed our names onto your log and Leega got creative to return your cache back to where we found it. TFTC Barnzy12
In town and down this way so decided to grab a few select caches. The rating of this one had us interested so headed over. A bit if a look on the feature before a spot grab and sign. TFTC.
We had a pretty good idea of where we should be looking for this, but somehow it blends in well particularly with the afternoon sun shining.Interesting sculpture at GZ. Some history here. Finally, we spotted it, just out of our reach, but we always have a couple of extra TOTTs in the car, just for situations such as this. An excellent placement of this Hide. Thanks Barnzy12 Domsky
Easy find, now its time to go deeper down the woodman point rabbit hole TFTC
Attended a wedding at the park yesterday! Returned today to grab a few caches! Found with Minergal TFTC
Nice and easy find on a hot day. Log is fairly new too. Thanks for maintaining this cache! TFTC
After an EOY event nearby I had a quick walk around to hunt down some nearby hides. Quick find, TFTC
Found this one pretty quick but struggled to get it open. We have replaced it with a similar cache and taken the other home to maybe get some crc onto it? (Being on the bikes we had no CRC).Again was a super fast pazza find, saz got to sit in the shade and have a water break while he tried to open it! Love how they have kept all the train tracks going to some degree!Ok, again embarrassing but pazza 15:saz 5, lucky she loves him and the game! Thank you Barnzy12 for placing and maintaining Welcome to Woodman Point v2.0 for us and others to find and enjoy!
Went out to log a few caches before the rain came.
The rain didn’t come so logged a few more including this one
A quick find.
Thanks to the CO fir the cache.

We’ve come for a play and a bbq dinner and it occurred to me on the way in that I’ve never remembered to get this on the way out so today I pulled over and grabbed it first. Yay! Big Mick and Turdler waited in the car so it was super quick

Didn't think I'd be able to get this after seeing you need a boost and being vertically challenged, I struggle with a fair few caches. Used my pen to retrieve and then thought, how will I return it? No prob actually, easier than I gave myself credit for. Tftc Barnzy12
Unfortunately searched high and low but couldn't see any caches here today.
Warm day so figure we’d walk around the area getting a few caches to get nice and warm before a dip in the ocean. Nice easy find to save standing around battling the heat and the flies. TFTC!
Made the find with richlink enjoying the beautiful Woodman Point Recreation Reserve. Thanks Barnzy.
We have travelled from Portland Victoria across to WA to see our daughter.
We are the victims of what we have now learned was unleaded petrol being added to the diesel tanks at Eucla. Many vehicles broke down across the Nullabor and we were one of the early ones.
As a result our car has been towed to Perth (from Cocklebiddy via Norseman and then Kalgoorlie)
While we wait. and wait. and wait for our car to be fixed we are staying with our daughter in Beeliar. Today we headed out on the bikes to visit Coogee Beach and the Woodman Point Park. Beautiful day and park to be riding in. Fortunately Mr Morris is good for these ones. Our last for the day.
Thanks for showing us this part of the world Barnzy12

Lucky I had a Spiderjockey07 with me to clamber up to get the cache. The logbook is not full, previous finders have signed on the second side of the logbook starting the end... just unroll the logbook and you'll find plenty of empty spaces. Tftc
Find 27 of 30 with 2 DNFs on a gentle bike ride from North Coogee, out to Lake Coogee and back via Woodman Point. Enjoyed a snorkel around the Omeo wreck afterwards to cool off. Many thanks to Gumnut6160 and Cravo10 for providing most of our Good Friday entertainment with some quality caches all the way round.
All good here and the log sheet is nowhere near full, so maybe there are two caches in play here.
TFTC Barnzy12!

A few false starts based on the GPS/coordinates, but all resolved once the correct host was identified.
Hiding in plain plain but there was no way I was going to be able to reach it on my own (no thanks to the last person). Some lateral thinking and I managed to knock it down with a piece of retic pipe I found nearby. Replaced at a slightly more user-friendly height
Took me a minute to spot as I expected it to be higher. Found and reached with ease, SL and then used my tape measure to push it up a bit higher TFTC
Found the cache quick enough. The log was full. Tried to replace with a fresh scroll but it was too big. Ended up leaving a new black nano next to the old silver one. Thanks Barnzy12.
This cache certainly isnt friendly for five foot tall me! Bit of clever thinking and I managed to retrieve it. TFTC
In the area for some meetings. Such a nice day, and took the opportunity to grab a few caches in the area.
Great time to stroll the paths and grab a few caches.
Nice quick find.

Thanks Barnzy12 for bringing me to this location and taking the time to hide and maintain this cache. I found the cache at 13:29:00. This was my Find 10 for today out of a Total number of 12 Finds and 0 DNF for for this Caching Outing. The cache was found in Good Condition and I signed the log and returned the cache as I found it.
This find brings my total number of Finds to 5096.
I couldn’t let this beautiful day go by without grabbing a few caches. A great day was had in the area, snagging 14 smileys and 3 DNF’s.
Blinded by the sun I suddenly spotted this one. Great hide. Retrieved and replaced as found. Thanks Barnzy12

Heading out today with ChickenHawk07 and we decided to grab a cache or two. Should have grabbed this earlier at the event but was in a rush.
Many thanks to Barnzy12 for placing and maintaining Welcome to Woodman Point v2.0. I found it, I signed it, and put it back as found.

Was on the o’dark hundred start at work, clocked in at 0400 and off at 1200. Had to drop someone off at Coogee Common so with the arvo to myself I decided to grab a few local cache.
Cheers Barnzy12!
Cheers Barnzy12!
For a simple hide the sunlight definitely makes this a challenging find. Glad I have height to retrieve this one.
Cheers Barnzy12 for the cache. Lucky my reach was better than Probsty’s.
Walked around Woodman Point with Probsty today. Made 1w finds and one DNF. Left a couple to come back to another day. I’ve fished off the jetty here, ran around it and swam in the ocean but never spent much time in the fringing bush land. Interesting history which I enjoyed. Thanks for taking me back here with a different set of eyes.

Well that was a bit high! My 6’ 5” geo hubby couldn’t even reach that one.
Placed back at a high but much more reachable height.
Thanks for the hide

Not only the vertically challenged would need help reaching this cache. Even extendamirror was insufficient so resorted to fishing. Return was easy with assistance. Remember another cache here not so long ago . Tftc
Wow! A tricky one. But we improvised a tott that managed to get the job done. Thanks for a challenging one!
Headed south today to spend a very enjoyable afternoon exploring Woodman's Point - and was happy to also pick up all 17 caches that are here as well I had deliberately left this one until last as I knew what to expect here but wasn't sure I could retrieve it. If not, then at least it was near the road to pick up in future as a cache & dash Pulled the car off onto the grass then craned the neck to see where it was. Aha. And not as high as I thought Grabbed a TOTT from the back of the car but it came up short. Likely the same TOTT as few others have tried I suspect! Hmm, there are no steps in the car. Thinking on my feet there was another TOTT in the back that if I wedged it into the first TOTT might just work. Waited for a gap in the traffic then gave my cobbled together contraption a go - and blow me down it did work! Very pleased to be signing the log and then reversed everything to get it back into place. Awesome. All ok here - TFTC
Needed this one for our D/T grid so decided to stop by on our way home from Wildflowers’s basketball grading tournament
Wildflower spotted this one and with a bit of teamwork with Hawkeye had the log signed.

Came past here yesterday with a new tool I got as part of a Christmas present hoping that it’d be enough to get my hands on the cache but ended about a foot short.
Prepared today with a couple of steps and took a seat waiting for a bit of a break in the traffic and was soon signing my name in the log.
Thanks Barnzy12 for placing this cache for me to find, this is find number 2075 for me.

A nice quick find on my way home from work. I finally got to use the tool in the back of the car just for this sort of cache. Thanks for the cache
Luckily we had a tool in the car to help us retrieve and replace this one.
We had an appointment in Freo this afternoon and decided to head away a bit early so that we could grab a cache or two on our outing. This cache was one we grabbed on our way through. Cheers and TFTC.
