Hi everyone,
The other day, I came to check on this geocache and noticed it was not there. I will replace it as soon as possible .

No luck despite it seeming obvious where the cache would be. Will return if subsequently found.
Off on our usual rapid-fire impromptu cache Grab-n-Dash with Geowife LL113 Left GeoSpawn 5 with Geospawn 2 and bolted
Another Sunday, another afternoon caching with GeoHubby. This was close to home and a quick park and grab. Super cute idea, well done. TFTC.
Had a little time to kill while in the Hutt Valley today so decided to grab a few Park and Grabs to bolster my numbers.
Arrived at GZ and spotted where we thought it would be before we got out of the car. Strolled to the spot and quickly confirmed our thoughts.
There certainly was no space for trolls which is fortunate as I have been lucky enough not to meet any yet and aren't looking forward to doing so!
Sadly the container is quite dinged up and the plastic bag was ripped so the log sheet was a pile of wet mush.
I signed and inserted a piece of rite in the rain paper in a fresh plastic bag as a temporary log which should be good for a little while however might pay for the CO to go and fix it up properly sometime soon. TFTC

Found with the help of a passer-by and a friendly neighbour while out on walk with a friend. TFTC
Found it another clever find. We lost our pen on the way. Or my son did I should say. On a roll at the moment.
Woah! That's some serious weather! It was lightly raining this morning so I cycled to work with my full wet weather gear. After work it was raining much harder and blowing pretty bad as I cycled to Mitre10. Alas, forgot my card so cycled back to work, grabbed the card, back to Mitre10. Just as I left Mitre10 it THUNDERED down!! Both in rain and actual thunder. And lightning. It was a serious wetting.
I'm wet anyway (actually, I am quite dry - this rain kit is awesome) so I cycled around to a cache near this that had been recently replaced, but alas I still could not find it - stolen again? Hiding under a tree I checked the map for another and came this way. There was a little bit of back and forthing to find the right place where I found the cache nice and dry. The log back is ripped but the log itself is fine, rather a surprise for this weather. I guess the street is steep enough that water doesn't pool there.
Alas I left my pocket seal open and water got in and thus also into my pen. I could not convince it to write more that *the seag* in the log book!
Many thank for a great night cache - I love caching at night

Dam all most had me looking up an down the street but as I went to park the car well dam there it is tftc an the trolls say hi
Great clue, nice easy find - took longer to be able to put it back so no one saw me!
A nice quick find thanks. A wee bit sneaky too!
Time for another trip to the North Island for Ms_KR and me. Wellington and beyond here we come. Today we cruised up to Ohakune to see a carrot.
Thanks to all CO's for publishing and maintaining their caches. Cheers.

Second in a session to avenge three DNFs of the CO's caches in this area.
I had focused last time on the wrong area and puzzled over the hint, but this time the GPS pointed me to a more likely spot once it settled down and a quick find resulted.
Chorus were working nearby but I was able to grab the cache unobserved. Unfortunately though while I was signing the log one of the workers took his break in the ute right opposite GZ so I couldn't put the cache back without being spotted! I decided to go on to the next cache 500 metres away taking this one with me and returning it afterwards, hoping nobody was looking for this one in the meantime! All OK when I got back.
Still puzzled by the D/T rating, it is clearly not a T3.5.
I commented in my previous log that maybe D and T had been reversed but now I have found the cache I know that that explanation doesn't work.
So either it is a genuine error or it has been set up so a cacher or some cachers can earn the square on the Fizzy grid. Either way it is unfair to others who have put in the time and effort to do the required climbing to earn a genuine T 3.5 for their Fizzy.

#1743. Caching afternoon in the Hutt to build up my November numbers, and head towards the Peak of Kilimanjaro.
Hint, cache name and accurate coordinates meant a quick easy find.

Nice quick find, glad it was water proof on a windy moist day, in a green eclipse tin.
Out finding caches tonight with Demainiac. A quick find here. So the log book has been signed and the cache is nicely back in its spot all ready for the next geo-hunter. Thanks heaps for taking the time to set up this geocache. I really appreciate your efforts in doing so. TFTC
Hmmm, well I know you can't beat Wellington on a good day, but today wasn't quite one of those. It had been threatening to rain for most of the day, but a friend and I decided we still fancied getting a bit of fresh air. We managed to get about an hour of caching in before we decided we had earned a well deserved coffee break at the nearby garden centre
This was a straightforward find. I did feel a bit conspicuous looking for this one, but it was a fairly straightforward find once I'd figured out which end
No issues at all with this cache, and after adding our names to the logsheet the cache was replaced exactly as found. Thank you for placing, and maintaining, this cache.

Just checked on the cache this morning and it's in perfect condition! It's ready for you to find!
Out on a sunny Saturday with TharntheHalken. Quickly spotted. All good in cache, tftc!
At first I wondered if I should attempt this in view of the terrain rating but reading previous logs reassured me that it was in error. Have the D and T rating been swapped by mistake?
Looked in the most likely place which was one of the few available without trespassing but I couldn't locate the cache.
I couldn't see how the first word in the hint could apply here but maybe it makes sense if you locate the cache!

Gone, property owner came out and said he had seen it but it was not there anymore.
I have a 3 month sabbatical mostly traveling around the planet. My goal is to find and log 1000 caches. New Zealand is my 4th station traveling from south Christchurch to north Auckland, my first visit here, its far away. This is my sabbatical-cache #755, T3,5????
I am not really keen on this type of hide but this one isn't in too bad a location. I was able to quickly carry out my mission and move on to my next site.
There was only one place it could be and luckily that area was clear or we might have had to leave the find. The log was signed by the car and we then waited for a vehicle to pull into its drive before the return. The last of 5 caches that filled in time nicely. Now to find a coffee and then head for the ferry.
Thanks.
We just noticed all 5 caches were set by the same CO so thanks for group in the area.

I'd decided with near certainty where this cache was before arriving so the only problem was whether I could retrieve it without arousing suspicion and where do I go to sign the log? At GZ I put my hand straight on the cache and beat a retreat, signing as I walked. Then I had to repeat the manoeuvre to return the cache which would have looked odd to anybody watching but what else are you going to do with caches in locations like this? This cache works in a quiet area like this so thanks for not making the stealth requirements any harder than it needed to be. TFTC.
As TWD noted, what's up with the terrain rating?

It would seem there's not much around here that could hide a geocache, but there is one location, and it soon revealed its secrets! Third of the morning. All good here. TFTC
Saw this one poking its head out from its hiding spot as I drove up. Signed and returned a little further in so it isn't as visible. All safe and dry here. TFTC
Cache # 4,848 - Super quick find today with the gang. As noted by Crystal Fairy, we think the terrain rating is not quite right - but still a nice hide. TNLNSL. TFTC!
Not quite sure I'd call it a 3.5 terrain. Maybe a 1.5. Had the cache in seconds. Really hope this one lasts as not convinced the location is the best for all conditions.. Did with Mycro Man, Ezratar, Wandering Dragons, Violet Butterfly and Astro Hunter. Thanks for the cache
In the Valley this afternoon so decided to come and score this series while the caches are still fresh. A very quick find in the second place checked. The cache definitely needs a much stronger magnet (try one from an old hard disk) as it is only just holding on. Signed log, TFTC
#7735. I needed a few cache finds today and saw that there had been a few new caches hidden over here in Waterloo. So decided to pick up all of them this evening. Parked nearby in the main street. Walked up to GZ and soon guessed where it would be hidden. But it was not well concealed so was easy to find. Once in the hand I signed the logbook nearby and replaced everything as found but tucked in a bit more. Thanks Bax001 for the new cache in this area. Hopefully this one lasts OK in the next heavy rain storm.
(# 5640). My brain wondered where the hide could be then I spotted something. Had to wait a couple of minutes before retrieving due to a lady muggle waiting to be picked up nearby. Once gone a quick retrieval followed. A quick find. Everything in order. TFTC
Good use of a hiding place. Parked on the main street and walked up. Whilst walking back to the car, I noticed a chair someone had tossed into a skip - far too nice to go to landfill, so it's come home with me! Just needs a new seat cover. TFTC & indirectly, the unexpected SWAG!
#11,629. Third to find. Park and grab on Norton Park Grove in Waterloo, Lower Hutt. Fortunately, GZ was all quiet at the time of our visit. Found after a short search. The cache was in excellent condition, all nice and dry inside. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log.

We were at home when the notification came through about a new geocache just published which wasn't far from home, only having just recently returned to geocachin after a year or two break we thought why not go for the FTF, off we headed to GZ and it wasn't too long before we had the cache in hand, [FTF] @ 1500hrs. TFTC.
([email protected]) Doing a bit of post New Year's shopping at Queensgate, so thought i'd do this quick park and grab on the way home. TFTC.
