Found with Ziggy212919. Great spot! Didn't have trades but left something for the next person! Thank you(:
There was most definitely a Rickety Pier at this spot. Had to take a lot of care grabbing the cache to ensure we stayed dry. TFTC
Southern Autumn adventure Day 51. Mid North section of SA trip Day 22. Mount Barker 2. Today and yesterday and tomorrow are really transitional to me getting to Mildura in time to do the Paddle Steamer with friends from Canberra. I journeyed to a spot about 35km South of Loxton near a location called Veitch via Murray Bridge an Karoonda for lunch. Before I left I spent an hour or so near Mount Barker having a final go at a few multis with difficulties and other local caches. The rain started while I was out and did not let up for the rest of the day. As I traveled, I did manage to stop a few times, getting wetter all the time, but I was keen to find some caches. At the final stop for the day I found a remote patch of roadside rest area and sat quietly till it was time to leave the next day.
I was glad when I worked out I did not have to go out the pier, but getting to the actual GZ was still a bit tricky. I am impressed by the amount of cache maintenance that has been done along the river since the flood waters have receded.
Thanks for the cache cruisinblues

Arrived in Red Cliffs and staying for several days with RoddyC, hatzofff & grannysmith1947 (To save space on log sheets, we have signed as Team 44 QLD.
This one had us all over the place and with the fear of falling in the drink we decided to bail. Four sets of very tired eyes looking I think we need an RDO.
Good hide here CO.

Risked my life 4 times only to find it with Kaaaat_ on the 5th try in a much safer area then where I was looking. TFTC.
Cache container decided to go walk about, all replaced to be found again. Happy caching!
Another year has passed since our last failed attempt.
This year an extra pair of eyes but the same result.
There was one large hole unexplored as the smell of dead carp was over powering. Ha.
Quite happy to leave it to next year.
Until then... Happy DNF day!!!

Found on a trip from Adelaide to the Mildura area for a few days of caching with Team Waldron, Brisal5 and FeatherWaite. Our main targets were the Paddle Steamer and Turtle geoart series' but we also took the opportunity to seek out a few other caches along the way.
We were fortunate with the weather. After a burst of very hot days, we timed our trip nicely to coincide with the milder conditions before the next hot spell. That helped to make both the caching and the camping along the Murray River and in the Murray-Sunset National Park very pleasant.
We ended up finding all the caches that we had targeted. Most were in good order. Some of the puzzles were quite challenging and there were some very novel and entertaining multi's. Some certainly took a bit of finding and there were many very clever and/or tricky caches and containers that were a credit to the cache owners’ ingenuity.
It would have been good to have had another day or two to complete the remaining caches in the area, but I’m sure we’ll be back.
Thanks to all the cache owners for the hides.

I have seen a T shirt with Sleep Eat Cache Repeat [^] Well a four day trip to Mildura with caching friends Team Waldron, E.gregory and FeatherWaite certainly fit that bill. Logs were signed with initials only for the teams - BEFW
Up at daybreak, quick breakfast and cache all day stopping only to have a snack whilst out on the trails, rush to set up camp near dusk for a meal, then perhaps some night caching, early night and REPEAT!
Strategic camping at Kings Billabong, Rocket lake and The Common meant we were close by the Geoart and target night caches. Two previous trips in 2013 and 2016 by me and some by E.gregory meant we visited some (well quite a few actually) previous finds but that made it quick for the people that hadn't found them previously.
I can't thank the CO's of these caches enough as some were really very inventive. Even having solved most puzzles before we came we were confronted with field puzzles and gadgets that were just mind boggling. [:X][:X][:X]
***Thanks cruisinblues for putting out this cache and maintaining it for our enjoyment. ***
Logs prepared and published through GSAK.

Found during a trip from Adelaide to the Mildura area for a few days of caching with Brisal5, e.gregory1 and Team Waldron with the main aim to complete the Paddle Steamer and Turtle GeoArt series but also to find other caches along the way. We camped out on the banks of the Murray River near Mildura on the first night, at Rocket Lake campground in the Murray-Sunset National Park on the second night, then back to the banks of the Murray River near Merbein on the last night. We signed the logs as B.E.F.W. Thanks to all the cache owners for placing the cache!
I found this one after a day of rain and it was very slippery. I really loved this find as it took me back to being a kid. As a kid I spent a lot of time in the bush climbing and walking into difficult to get places. Thank you for this one - it helped turn a bad mood around for me.
Finding the correct way into the cache proved challenging but we eventually got here to admire the rickety pier.
Of coarse the fit Triton made his way cautiously over to gz and had signing duties while I watched from the safety of the pipe.
Thanks cruisinblues for the adventure.

We spent our last day in Mildura, close to the river which we love, lapping up the tranquility and peace. A FP dropped in for the location.
After adding our name to the log, we watched the pelicans cruising the river whilewe ate lunch.
Our thanks to 'cruisinblues' for adding this cache to the geo-gameboard.

It certainly is, well, what is left of it anyway. Being very careful on this rather rickety structure, we all looked and eventually the cache was located. Thanks for the cache and showing this to us.
Love old structures, although a little more of this would have been nicer. Thanks for the cache and showing us this place.

Day five of a camping road trip with Papi4506, Geoturtle37 & RoamingHowie.
With NSW now out of bounds, today we focussed on Mildura.
Nice spot and a quick find by P4506 as I ventured further down.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache, cruisinblues

Continuing my first caching adventure with OzHockeyChick, Papi4506 & GeoTurtle37 and a mega adventure it is! Last day in town nabbing a few caches.
After we found a way to access GZ we began the careful stumble to the cache location. A short search and we found the crafty hiding hole. The pier has definately seen better days. Fortunately no one was fixed to walk the planks today

Found at 3:22 PM GAFF4 at a distance of 17 metres .
An interesting location, but we really had a lot of trouble locating this cache. We could have found it just about straight away as p-pprass peered into a spot (where the cache was hidden) but didn't look in the right angle as it was a tad precarious [B)] So we followed the GPSr which took us way over the side track up the bank and - nothing. So we went back to where other logs have hinted and scoured the whole structure - nothing. In the end a PAF was required to put us on the right track and p-pprass yelled out in anguish as that is where the search had just about started - 20 minutes ago!!!
Thanks cruisinblues
Feedback: It is odd that no one has mentioned that the co-ords are out by 17 metres!

Hooray !!
The day dawned cool,
and dust free
Time to head down,
to the mighty Murray
Accompanied by the hum of the power,
I stumbled down to the pier
And risking a fall into the water,
A cache did soon appear
Well it *had* to be in there didn't it ???

After Mrs finished work we headed out to investigate some newly placed caches. Lots of action out on the water today, jet skis galore. Cache was found after a short search and the logbook was quickly signed and returned to its hiding spot. Did some CITO on our way back to the car. TFTC
This one definitely got the better of us. With our coordinates playing up pointing into the water we backed up and headed home. To steep for us. Be back next holiday.

We were out catching yabbies and were about to call it a night when we saw this cache on the map. We contemplated whether to go for it or not and of course the excitement of finding a new cache won. By torchlight we made our way to gz. A juicy Redback Spider greeted along the way. Wow! What a location. Very eerie at night but with the torches off peering across the the bank on the other side of the river with a sky full of stars it was somewhat peaceful and magical too! Mr 4Moule made the find tonight and we stamped our name into the logbook. Thanks cruisinblues for highlighting this area, it’s great to discover local areas that we have never been too before! Our trip back to the car was exciting spotting two very healthy possums and the red/orange moon rising!
