First fence was a little antisocial, but eventually I managed to clamber over and discover the cache. Tftc.
After volunteering at Eynesbury Junior Parkrun, I took the chance to tick off a few caches in the area. Beautiful morning for a forest wander. TFTC
We set off from home early this morning with no destination planned except for head towards Melbourne, well we didnt quite make it as we got sidetracked with the copious amounts of caches in Eynesbury since our last visit. Eynesbury is always a lovely location to explore with all its history so we headed here to begin a fun day of caching in a lovely setting.Once we finished exploring the homestead with the local labcache we parked the car at the convenient parking location and made our way along the track to enjoy the ambiance of the bush walk while seeking out the caches. This was certainly an unusual hiding method. Thanks Benjamin Screamer for the placement.
So we were on the wrong side of the fence. Quite a challenge with kids getting over/under around it
17:04It's been a lovely relaxing Christmas, with only one dinner to get through instead of the usual back to back marathon. And I am free to attend this year's Intervening Days event... and see where the caches lead after that. The Eynesbury Grey Box Forest, as it turns out.I've been meaning to take a walk here for a while, so today seemed ideal.Ninth and last find during this walk in the forest, and what a beaut sized one to finish with. Thanks, Benjamin Screamer. And now all that's left is to walk along the wall to a gap in the wire fence nearby, and back to the car.All up, a good ten thousand or so steps.#8108
After the Cobbledicks Ford CITO and visiting a workmate in Eynesbury, what else to do in the area but go caching. This was the start of my long walk, picking up 11 caches and clearing the forest before returning to my car. This was a nice and quick find.My thanks to Benjamin Screamer for the cache.
Found with lozzie88 and leeroy1603!
Wonderful day for a walk today and of course some cacheing in the area.
After trying to work out how to get to GZ.
We finally found a gap in the fence.

With such beautiful weather today I decided to mix it up and and drive west in order to cache in a new area. So I drove until I felt I needed a break and then I opened the app and checked to see what caches were in the area when I saw this Large cache.
I am always on the look out for Large caches as I am trying to qualify for the [6*100 Cache Size Challenge (GC95TP6)](https://www.geocaching.com/geocache/GC95TP6)
So I parked at the entrance to the reserve and enjoyed the nice walk over to the cache. This area is just such a beautiful little pocket of nature.
I found the actual fence first and had to walk up and down the length until I found a gap in which I could cross. It was then a short walk over before I found the forgotten fence.
It was then another short walk before I reached GZ and only a quick search until I found the cache. I always love finding Large caches they are always so much fun to find. Thanks for the fun today and TFTC.
Cache Maintenance Status:
The cache container was in good shape and the logbook was clean and dry with plenty of room for future cache finders to sign.

Decided we had better make a dash for the car rather than hunt this one out today, as the rain was approaching with the thunder, and a decent wind picked up making safety before caching the better option haha. Will be back another time to find this.
Love seeing the relics of history out in these places. Eynesbury is fantastic for it. Accessing the old fence involved climbing the new. Gave me a good jab going over too. Kids loved a big cache with plenty of swag. Zade did a runner so couldn't stay long!
Love this little forest. So peaceful. What a great cache! All in good order thank you!

After loging Idle hands started my search for this one only to find a fence blocking my approach and being a short asse with my better half taging along as support staff we couldn't get over the fence so we had to walk right out to the road then double back adding 170m to our journey sl tn left a small pocket transister tftc
Found by Mary and David at 16:00. We never tyre of visiting Eynensbury. Saw numerous rabbits, or underground mutton as they were once called.Great to see the remains of the old fence, and perhaps the remains of an old hut part way there. Definitely earns a FP. Our thanks to Benjamin Screamer.
Nice to find something decently sized that's well hidden.
If you approach from the end of toorongo road and walk to the cache as the crow flies you'll pass by the debris field from an old house. There are some interesting remnants here including old cans, ceramic cups and containers, metal sheets, even some old tyres. Quite interesting to look through if you're into history

Set out with SimsFamily to grab a few local caches in the area.
A enjoyable walk out to GZ where the cache was overlooked, due to its great camouflage on the first look.
Log signed and replaced as found.
Thanks for the Traditional Cache Benjamin Screamer

Took the long way around after some arguing with the caching buddy :p Lovely place though
Thanks to Benjamin Screamer again for a terrific cache placement.
We enjoyed the walk to GZ.
We soon spotted the hide and were impressed with the cache container and camo.
Well done for showing us this historical relic.
Thankfully there was no rain while we were here.
We did enjoy the walk listening to an interview on 774 with John Williamson. The wonders of the mobile data age where you can tune into a radio program via an app thingie to listen to a favourite musician.
Sadly no pink galahs or Cootamundra Wattle here today but we could hear the songs in our heads.

Having been home for a few days I decided to head out on a short mid week adventure. I headed out west to explore some caches in an area I have not been before.
Like finding a needle in a haystack this one . Thanks for the walk and find.

4 April 2021,wow, what a lovely wall, so many beautiful stone walls in the area, such hard work. Thanks for the 'small' cache... ha ha
Out this way with a bit of spare time pre-Christmas and thought I'd take the chance to pick up a few of the new caches that have appeared since my last visit.
After parking nearby I took the nice walk down to gz where I safely navigated the barb wire and after a quick search spotted the quite well concealed for its size cache. Very well organised inside as all of your hides are with some quality swaps. Pity I can't get the kids to come out with me much any more. Nice to highlight a small piece of local history and to find a spot to hide such a large container. I took a moment to enjoy the stillness and the local birdlife before heading back to the car. It's a beautiful area here and always nice to go for a walk around. Thanks for another quality hide Benjamin Screamer.

It seems COVID safe enough to enable the cache. Be careful. I don't want to disable this one again.
This cache has been temporarily disabled to reduce the chances of spreading the COVID-19 virus. It will be back in business when health authorities say it is safe to go bush walking etc. Stay safe. Wash your hands. Maintain social distancing.
This geocache is currently disabled because I support the government's non-essential activities restrictions that have been introduced because of the COVID-19 virus crisis. I encourage you all to suspend your geocaching activities ASAP. We must all work together to stop the virus spreading. The cache will be enabled in the future.
Being an experienced cacher I took a cross country route here. Always nice to find old stone fences and this whole area has relics from its past.
The understorey was relishing a wet summer and looked great.
Such a large cache too and well concealed. Should last. Returned much the same way
Thanks Benjamin

Great cammo for such a large cache . I made my way over the fence where a fallen branch had made the assest. Walk straight past the cache and looked in the wrong spot for a few mins. Getting abit rusty haha soon made the find and return as found tftc
I don't mind if geocachers climb through the barbed wire but you don't have to.
Came out to grab this one for today's streak find.
Wandered past where GZ was to get today's steps up then doubled back for the cache.
Big gap in the fence past GZ and also an easy crossing point not far for the parking spot at the corner.
Nice to find a big cache stocked with quality swag.
Thanks Benjamin Screamer for another great hide.
How do you keep finding these spots?

It was nice to be able to follow the track almost to GZ. Took note of the forgotten fence line as I went. Had no trouble getting through the barb wire fence to find a perfectly well hidden large container with nice clean swaps.

Beautiful day for a walk around the area.
Took the track in and at the appropriate point, turned towards the forgotten fence only to encounter the barb wire fence.
Hmmm, I don’t like rusty barb wire.
Too many bad memories.
Anyway, a crossing point was found and the container quickly identified.
Log signed and everything returned as found.

So, I never meant to find this one, and I almost became FTF by accident.
Prior to publishing, I'd searched around the area for some large caches to show the little geokid. I checked back on the results yesterday only to discover a new large cache had suddenly appeared and it still hadn't been found. Due to stuff, I planned to head out later in the evening to grab it but alas, the Sims Family were too quick.
Back to the original plan saw us drop by here on Friday as well as 3 French Hens just up the road. We parked beside the main road and wandered up the track a ways before jumping through the fence. A cache this big was always going to be easy to find but the camouflage was quite effective and if we weren't looking for it, I'm sure we'd never have seen it.
We took a dinosaur and left a couple of Hot Wheels and polished rocks. Thanks to Benjamin Screamer for these 2 large caches. As someone who hates micros, these are a welcome sight.

When this guy was published I was all the way down at Apollo Bay on a big day caching with AusFox; and had no chance of heading out for the first to find. When I awoke this morning I was very surprised that there was still now logs and even when I check around lunch there was still no love for the cache. I had a few things to do and then I decided I would make this my cache for the day. So even if I missed the First to find I would still satisfy my cache a day streak.
After all the heavy rain recently I expected the ground to be a lot wetter as I walked into GZ following the track when I got to a suitable sot my GPS took me off track where I carefully hoped over and found the forgotten fence then the cache hide.
Thank you Benjamin Screamer for the large hide
