Suscoe was heading from Wagga to the coast today. It was full sun, about 30 degrees at its hottest and good travelling conditions. We left the Hume and headed east through the Southern Highlands down on to the coast. The countryside changed from brown to green and grain crops were replaced by green grazing farms and bushland. A lovely sea breeze greeted us at the coast. We found a few caches and Ad Labs as we travelled. Thanks to widge76 for this hide.
Out with BlacknWhite to chase down a few caches in the southern highlands on this fine Kings birthday Monday. Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache.Like his mate Dave Carl is looking a bit dusty, a bit of cosmetics may be helpful.TFTCIronbark.
Another quick find with Ironbark this morning. These minions seem to pop up all over the place. Thanks for the cache and another adventure widge76
Full time Nomads, travelling around Australia since 2014. Staying a few nights in Moss Vale, today we headed over to Berrima and surrounds.TFTC widge76

We finished the day driving to Bundanoon to do a couple of ALs.Such a big variety of caches found todayA nice way to visit the town & area is by following the geocaching trailThanks widge76 for hiding this cache.
bunadoorian saw this on the map nd said - there is Carl the minion - do you want to find him. He had me at minion. TFTC and for bringing us here widge76.
Grub62 and I stopped by here on our travels as Grub62 is a fan of minions. A nice little tribute in a standard hide. TFTC.
A quick find here this morning while down at the Southern Highlands, TNLN thanks.
Found this cache with ilook4geo before leaving the area this time. It was a very easy find. Thank you to widge76 for placing this cache.
Adding a few more smileys to the map before leaving this area. Came along with goingplaces2, found the cache, signed the log and replaced. Job done! TFTC.
A quick find during a break in the afternoon showers. Thanks for the cache widge76
Favourite because I love minions but really doesn’t deserve it. Don’t know who was more uncomfortable the motorbike rider or me when I pulled up at the barrier. Tftc
Out and about for a drive today, enjoying the sunshine in an air-conditioned car. As I love minions, I couldn't resist stopping to collect this one.
Parked nice and close and made a quick find. As the log was full, for the first time in my caching history, I was actually prepared with paper in the car. Signed the new piece of paper and placed it in the cache along with the old log.
Loved the container. Slightly regretting collecting this one without the geokids as I reckon they would have loved it too.

Found with sebass19 on a huge day of caching in the Southern Highlights; all up, 68 finds for me today, not bad considering the heat! Parked further up the road and walked back down for a quick find. Retrieved and replaced in between traffic. A very cute container! TFTC widge76!

The first of a few caches we picked up here in town. A quick stop.
It was time to move on from Goulburn today, but only a short distance to Mossvale.
We did the usual however and stopped to pick up a number of caches along the way, some with short diversions needed.
We also did one waypoint of and Adventure Lab and fully completed another en route. This afternoon we did some further caching as we looked round town. A lot were quite wet, but as Gippslanders from Victoria we understand that is what happens when you have weather like we have had.
Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache widge76.

After a quick dash across the road I made the find and replaced. The rain has finally stopped ?
Out n about browsing the antique shops. Took the opportunity to stroll down the road for a quick find here. TFTC.
Found with WaywardWoman while caching in the area. Signed log and returned as found. TFTC

Thanks for the cache.
Tankengine and I were on our way to a caching weekend away with other caching friends in Wollongong.
The day was warm, if not hot compared to what we’ve been use to, but it was also perfect for the caching we had in mind.
This cache: An nice quick find. Tftc!!!

Here is a little information about me. I have been geocaching since March 2015. At the time of finding this cache, I have over 8550 finds plus 1120 hides. I am the creator of the “Duck Dip” Lab Cache that won 2nd Place for the Australian Capital Territory in the State Vs State - Battle of the Lab Caches at the OzGeoMuster - The Gong Mega (GC7N7ZC) 2019 in Wollongong, Australia. It was my love of Geocaching that helped me find my lovely Wife. I have dedicated a Geocache to her that explains how Geocaching brought us together. That Cache is The Blueiris of Tidbinbilla by DARKSIDEDAN. | GC80WHA | Australian Capital Territory, Australia.
Currently I have over 10,000 Pathtags in my Collection plus over 500 Etagz. My collection includes over 300 JMC Pathtags and 180 Charlie Harper Pathtags. I love to trade pathtags with people at events or via post within Australia only. I currently have four Personal Pathtags 45762 / 46950 / 47696 / 47987 with another three in the works. Note: I do not trade overseas (Australia Only) so please do not ask. Also I do not log my Pathtags on Pathtags.com to keep what I have in my collection private. If you are selling your Pathtags or want to swap Pathtags send me a message. As a bonus to reading this very long log, please feel free to discover my Virtual Trackable AR6QTT. Yes this is my Personal Virtual Trackable and I give permission for you to discover it. Please feel free to share my Virtual Trackable with every geocacher you know.
I have included one of the Geocaching poems that I have written. I hope that anyone reading it likes it.
Geocache Poem
by DARKSIDEDAN
My endless search goes on and on
Looking for treasures of every kind
Always chasing just one more find
Putting past DNF’s out of my mind
I step out into the world outside,
Seeking what is hidden from me
What size, shape or form will it be?
Only time will tell, I can’t wait to see
Will I find my prize at the end?
I will search in the failing light and cold
Filling with despair having looked everywhere
Where is this thing that gives my life pleasure?
Looking all around from every angle
I read the logs and check the hint
I curse out loud as I walk in circles
screaming the bloody thing it not there
As time flies by and I fail to see,
Never once stopping to realize
It always been there before my eyes
No need for sorrow, there’s the Geocache.

***** I am currently writing very detailed logs because of a challenge provided by Project-GC called "The Author". This Badge challenges geocachers to write logs with an average one hundred words or more in each log. As of the May 2021 my average is 160 words per log, which seems close to the 200 words per log target. However given that I have found so many GC caches, I have to write many logs with well over 200 words for a long period of time to get my average up. Apologies to anyone who finds the logs tedious but it is the only way that I can strive to attain this challenge. After more than 8000 caches (which includes all cache finds up and including today I am now entertaining the possibility that I might be able to achieve my task very soon. Progress has been better than anticipated.

**This Cache:**
Cute minion! A little hard to retrieve but got it out
Thanks
**Today:**
A trip to the Southern Highlands today with DSD to clean up some of the more "Park and Grab" style caches, rather than being super focused like I usually am! We also managed to sneak in some of the solved puzzles on my list too which were on my to-do list and happened to be along the routes we were taking!
All up a fairly productive day, with 45 finds over a 5 hour period excluding the driving time to/from Canberra. We had a few DNF's and a LOTTT of Did Not Attempts, unfortunately there seems to be a lot of missing caches around the place.
Thanks to all the CO's!

Found at 11:54 AM GAFF1.
Wow - now there is a leap of faith type of retrieval. The spiders were doing a really good job in entombing the minion and it was a long way in b
Thanks widge76.
Feedback: Looking at the hint now as I write the log - it is no longer relevant.

#7551 (5 of 10 today)
Catching up with some logs after five days at the cricket - not the result we wanted after day 5, but it could have been worse.
I was after some calendar finds today, and so decided to head for the Southern Highlands for some caching goodness. I was originally hoping for 15, but the rain that arrived in the afternoon put a dampener on that... (sorry)
Still, I got ten, including one puzzle in a bush setting that hasn't got much love lately.
###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###
From one minion to another - but unlike last time when I parked over the road, had to stop a distance away and then walk. And it's definitely sprinkling now...
Again quick find in the logical spot. And nicely repurposed containers!
Completed signing duties and replaced, then off to my next target.

Quick run up the highlands for an EC Day souvenir, took the opportunity to tick a few traditionals off the map as well. Forgot to bring my minions props for a photo but quick find after a short walk from safe parking. Still felt a bit exposed with the passing traffic so checked out the view in between cars.
Quick PnG on my way to pick up BTM from work. Cute container but the hint is completely irrelevant! TFTC
Aimed for this one after the other minion was too unsafe for the kids. Sadly this one was too! Will have to come back alone.
My plan was to order a large coffee at the local and find this one while it was being made. Pity that I was standing behind someone who could not decide what they wanted. I decided that the cache was the priority!
Found on a perfect Winter day for a drive at Moss Vale.
A few good safe hides and not many muggles around.
Cache condition is OK/good.
Thanks for the cache widge76,

With bad weather on the horizon (literally !) we decided a quick trip for a few caches was in order. First find of the day, and it was a nice quick drive-by find. Cute container !

Out caching with Black Bunny today. It started off all right, wit a few nice caches found, and then the weather closed in. Lots of lovely thunder and lightning, and plenty of rain. We can do with it! Thanks for this one, widge76!
A big day in the Highlands caching today. With so many new caches popping up, there was a plethora of caches to choose from. Taking advantage of the longer daylight hours and many solved puzzles, I was able to find some good numbers.
A few final caches in Sutton Forest to finish off my full days caching.
Thanks to the CO's for placing the caches I found today.
