Logs
Same as the previous cacher, there not that many magnetic options here and I didnt find anything
No luck today. If it is up in the lock area I certainly could not feel it.Next time.......
The logbook has been replaced and the cache is ready to be found once again.
This cache was found with the logbook missing or probably disintegrated probably from the storm a few days ago. The pole must’ve filled up with a lot of water and went into the cache. The log must be replaced and maybe put it in a different spot so it doesn’t fill up with water.
A surprisingly quick find. Nice location here so I might have to explore the track one day. Thanks math not lost.
Well it had to be on that thing, but it was so well hidden that it took a while to find the cx. TFTC.
Picked this up yesterday. Now a very well frequented spot but only a few cars here today and only one person to wait to leave
The logbook is damp and the numbers for the final erased. I have put some clues for the numbers in the description to help you until I replace the log in December. If you are still having trouble, email me.
A quick easy find, although as the log was sodden, we added a small waterproof sheet. No sign of any letters for the final cache. TFTC
Out on a geocaching roadie today while my muggle partner plays some golf. Want to pick a couple of the geotour caches out this way and also fill one of the holes on my DT grid
Haven't been out this way before so enjoyed the sights on a bueatiful Tasman day

A late start to work gives me another chance to roam around. My last of the series, now on to the final. TFTC!
It is a long weekend (Anzac Weekend) and NZDi wanted a few days away. We spent a few days in Motueka over Easter and intended to tack a couple of days at Kaiteriteri to that trip, but end up staying at Mot, so this trip is to make up for that. Our intention was to come across on Friday, spend two nights at the camping ground, then head home. But we enjoyed the first two days so much, we tacked another day onto it and will go home on Monday.
Today is day three of our holiday and being Anzac Day, first up is to attend an Anzac service before any geocaching is contemplated. This year I chose the Riwaka service. If I am away from home on Anzac Day I always attend a local service in the area where I am. That way I have been to dozens of different services around the country.
After the service, we packed a picnic lunch and headed towards Marahau, caching along the way. This was our third find on our way to Marahau and was found in a place I wouldn't have thought it would be but checked after exhausting all other possibilities. On the way back to the car, we checked the cache name and realised we needed to go back and retrieve the information for the bonus puzzle. A not so QEF PnG.

Found with Ulmuslyn on this cool have all the coords. Great hide Thank you for the cache
I found the other caches in this series the last time I was in the area, so today I asked GK if we could come past here to find this one so that we can work out where the final it.
GK made a nice quick find here and he passed the log into the car where I was sitting watching what he was up to.
The numbers required for the final are getting a bit hard to read, it may be our old eyes, so I took a photo in the hope that if I zoomed in I would be able to see what the numbers are. As I write this I am about to work out where the final is, so that we can find it next time we are in the area.
This was a great area, plenty of parking and turning space, close to the road yet so secluded. Thank you for placing this cache and thank you for the smiley

Having dropped HorseGirlNZ at friend's a way back down the road I set off for a dog walk, or two, or three with some end-of-year caching to boot!
Plenty of cyclists huffing and puffing up the hill to the GZ and a few MTBers on the forest trail but none to bother me. The GPS bounced around a little but the hint saw me good.
The first two numbers grabbed.

*Thanks for putting out this cache for woolwood9 and I to find!*
SL **tm/ww NZ** (may just be a black smudge on the many wet or plastic logs)
Weather a bit better today with only a few showers of rain
*Soon had this cache located!*

Found in the drizzle, a good spot for it. One of the letters is getting hard to decipher.
We're having a bit of a lazy caching day so nothing to physical but still nice scenery. More often than not it's either destination Kaiteri or Marehau with each their own best access roads. On my way to the cache I remembered I used to drive a 34 seater bus here with a trailer. Good times. Thank you math not lost
We had decided it was time we looked at the caches on the Kaiteriteri/Marahau loop since it was some time since we had been this way.
As I approached GZ I noticed something on the ground in the mud a short distance from where I suspect it was meant to be; it was the cache so after signing we placed it back there where at least it now fits the hint.
Perhaps the CO might need to check this one.

No luck today.
Too wet and getting wetter, so a short ssearch today, in the obvious places.
Next time.......

Quick find after initially overshooting the pullover area. Numbers for the bonus final cache noted and we are off to the next one. TFTC
Today RG1972 and I went to Marahau. A first for me, I have never been here. Which is a bit odd, as I have previously found caches just a few kms down the road.
It was a great day. We loaded the bikes and parked out of town, then rode on in for a bit of casual cache collecting and to enjoy the views.
On the way out we did a loop walk that was slippery but fun, and bumped into a few friends along the way.
A fun day. Thanks all COs.

Well spotted, I hadn't realised there is a forest road through here. I note a previous log suggests one needs a permit to enter but I think that just means if you want to do any hunting. The first line specifically says "walking and mountain biking access". A parked car nearby suggested there was someone in there somewhere and then when we were signing the log a couple of runners came along - - - one vaulted the gate as if it wasn't even there .
Thanks for this cache and for the series, a great idea. The call of kai and coffee was just too strong so we left the final for another day but have made sure we corrected the coordinates in anticipation.

Caching with Sidewaze. I haven't been here before! Met up with some joggers, it could be an interesting place for a walk. TFTC
A short stroll with SJT_NZ and quick find, thanks math not lost for the cache all in good order.
A quick find with Tregearp. All in good order. Thanks math not lost for a second cache on today's outing .
I knew I was going to have to do some backtracking for the final no matter which route I took. Short walk to collect the numbers and sign the log then head back for the final. TFTC # 15,401
The last of the three caches we needed to find to collect the co-ordinates for the mystery. We already had an idea of where the final would be and this last set of numbers confirmed it. tftc
Oh oh...think we needed a permit to get this. We went to a large "private property" sign, then just before the gate another sign saying permit required, Seems the gate is simply the most practical location, rather than the boundary.
Mr M went for the padlock and cache.
Cheers

Out on a caching expedition with bumandworker today.
We parked beside the "Private Property" sign and walked in [:0]
Bum pointed me to the end with the blackberry and gorse so I ignored him and went to the other end for a quick find.

Out for a drive on our day off - decided to head out this way to see how many holidayers were still around - the answer was quite a few Made our way to GZ which was an area we hadn't noticed before - a good quick find - log signed as SONO ( Stretch0 and Niteowlnz ) information gathered thanks for the cache
It was time to get a little fresh air along with a few caches. I spotted these when published but we didn't have time to do . A lovely day out and this little diversion onto an area we had not been on before. As we approached GZ we had an assumption where to look which proved.correct. Thanks for the Cache
First cache for the day. We had intended to do a cache replacement in a completely different direction until a check showed the track was closed. So we headed for a walk in the Abel Tasman, which was open, and found this on the way. Recorded the numbers although we knew the final would be found on another trip.
Thanks.
Thanks.
I headed out for an early morning drive to find a few new caches. I also had some cache maintenance to do not too far from here so these new caches seemed like an obvious target. No problems here. Plenty of space to park near GZ which was good. Cache found in the first place I checked too. Now with all the information I needed in hand, I was off to find the final. TFTC, Biggles.
Just happened to be up when the emails came through advising of the new caches..
Decided to leave until the morning and got slightly distracted, nice easy find.
Thanks

Quick find this morning, the chance of a few FTF’s was too good to turn down, TFTC and a great series
