Visiting from Sydney found with annabella02 sassieold55 and muggle friend. TFTC.
Well, wasnt that a pleasant stroll through the forest, with a fair amount of chatting along the way.On arrival at GZ, there was a fair amount of circling by the three of us until the penny dropped, so as GeoD was halfway there, he grabbed the container and we all signed our lives away, now its back to the 4wds for the last one of the day.
Day out caching with sassieold55, thought we would target some of the Bambra series, so I crawled on a limb for this one. TFTC

Ha ha! The geokids can't deny me today! We're out for family geocaching adventures, and all the whingers have to suck it up!
Well now. As if the name of this one wasn't going to cause a bit of anticipation. As you can guess, we had three teenagers up a tree quicker than you could say "double scoop". I even jumped up a nearby one to get a good camera angle.
Thanks heaps, Tritonz!

In all our travels we would not have even thought to travel to this location.
(HaHa). In your dreams, these cachers do.
[:(!] Thanks for an awesome effort.

Out and about with Dromaniax on this chilly Sunday night!! We decided this afternoon that we would go on an adventure to collect a handful of smiley faces and this series is on the list!!
Sneaky little hide but the name of the cache tells it all. Where does this road go??? Thank you for bringing me here!

Donutholes asked me if I would like to go caching tonight. The weather at the time was wet, wild and wintry, but the answer is pretty much always yes; who cares about the weather.
We had planned to cache this area a month or so back but were sidetracked by a possible FTF in Melbourne, and today was the day we chose to cache this area.
The Bambra Series was the main target for the night. It had turned out to be a pretty clear night with an almost full moon. However, we did drive through some very thick fog and had to keep an eye out for kangaroos. No kangaroos were harmed in the finding of these caches.
Not sure if there is a The_Tritonz series that doesn't require a little climbing. Donutholes did the honours, and another cache in excellent condition.
Thank you for this cache The_Tritonz

We checked in on this one just to make sure the cache was still hidden in it’s original location after a DNF and a write note. We are happy to report everything is the same as we originally left it.
Take note of the title of this cache…OUT ON A LIMB…. And also he attributes.

Spurred on my the find for this one 3 days ago and a little hint from that friend, I found this. The dry path we took to it in June is now a burbling brook after recent rains. Gets a favourite from me.
Rule number 1 of geocaching. Always check the name of the geocache and then the attributes. Spent a little while here with my iPhone and my GPSR with my geokid egging me on and thinking hmmm… where could it be? Then I checked the attributes, the name of the cache clicked and all of a sudden it dawned on me. The hint helped a lot. I gathered up my nerves, trying desperately to ignore my fear of heights and went for it. I made sure my geokid knew what to do just in case something happened. She was ready and so was I. I made my way to the geocache, hesitantly digging around with a stick and there it was! What an amazing spot. Getting down was an experience and my geokid captured it all on video. Not sure if I want to watch it or not! Another Bambra cache down, and a bit of a confidence boost as well. TFTC
I have to agree with the previous hunter re the trees down but I don't know long they have been down. I did check out the top of these huge trees but could not see any sign of a cache just in case the cache was up there.
Two big trees down right where the gps seemed to land on, but it was jumping around
Well my last for the day.
Have found a few great caches around here.
This was a little deja vu.
Sure I found a similiar cache here many moons ago.
Well it was worth it.
Fav from me.

From times long ago, we remember:
A pinch and a punch on the first of the month!
The calendar shows Sunday the first of November:
No pinching or punching, - a great afternoon for geocaching!
(The saying apparently originated after Geo.Washington provided local Indian tribes with a supply of fruit punch laced with a pinch of salt each month)
Our thanks to 'The_Tritonz' for fascinating & informative cache notes & a neat hide at an interesting location.

We were keen to finish off this series after a stalled first attempt. The 4 year old bunny was keen for an adventure so we started with this one, walking the 200m in though it would have been OK to drive as there was plenty of room to turn around. Spotted a likely option to walk the plank and the brave bunny followed along as well. TFTC
I came, I looked, I didn't find. The hiding place seemed obvious - up there! I went up twice, being even more thorough the second time. No cache could I find. Was it somewhere else? Not that I could find. Hopefully it was just me.
Found It......After having lunch it was decided to head out and get some caches. We headed down this way to pick up some caches that we had not had the chance to collect. So after pulling up Mr H_3 sprang into action and soon was holding the prize so with the log signed we continued our journey. Thanks The_Tritonz for the cache
Out today with sorceysal to clean up some caches in the area but mainly to complete this series.
Did as suggested - parked and walked in to GZ and knew exactly where to look. Really didn't want to get up there though. As it turned out that was the easy part. It was getting down crawling backwards was not an option. It was in bottom gear that was chosen. It was easier but resulted in wooden prickles all over the point of contact.
End result was two happy faces.

Out with 6hinemoa2 to finish the Bambra series and clean up a few caches along the way. Had to have a giggle as 6h2 almost ended up with bum splinters whilst getting down. Thanks Chris and Lorraine.
Suscoe decided to have a nearby Western District wander today seeing as it was going to be a mild Summer's day.
We weren't disappointed with the weather, after a cool start it turned out to be a delightful sunny day with a few clouds and a cool breeze.
The roads were very quiet for the entire journey there (Carlisle River) and back.
Thanks to The_Tritonz for this hide, a bit of research helped us with the best entrance to this area and so we soon found ourselves within 20 metres of the hide.
A quick find with the benefit of our levitation device,
Time for a cuppa and so the thermos was opened and the coffee was made.
Such a lovely little bushland area for us to enjoy today, thanks for bringing us here.

On a balmy evening which went from 40° to 25°in a matter of hours, leaving the air thick with humidity. I joined up with SimsFamily and Neville Devil to grab a few caches around Winchelsea and Bambra.
We parked just off the main road, but it turns out I could’ve driven to GZ. Well we were definitely out on a limb at GZ as the rain started to come down.
We opened the cache for a surprising joint [FTF] after being published for a few days.
Log signed and replaced as found.
Thanks for the cache The Tritonz

With the start of a new month our awareness for first to finds are always at a premium so when we were alerted to the two new caches in the Bambra series where still waiting there first logs plans were put into place for a midnight attack.
Shortly before midnight we arrived at a suitable entry point leaving the car and heading in on foot. We were very near GZ a few minutes before the start of the few minutes so we stopped and turned of all the torches and enjoyed the night in the bush until the new day and month ticked over. The darkness was extreme you could not see your hand in front of you own face but it was very peaceful.
When time was up we were into the search with a very quick find exactly where it was expected to be.
Thank you The_Tritonz for the hide
