Having seen who had visited before us, we didn't hold out much hope. Like all the others, no luck for us here today.

Adding another blue face here!! Will try again another time Smile

A nice little wander in to gz soon had me on site but the cache eluded me. After a decent search I read the clue etc but for some reason the past logs wouldnt download to my phone. Reading them today I now know how useful they would have been.I lucked out with the weather for this trip. I arrived just after the last of the heavy rain and although some clouds threatened it remained dry for the rest of the day, albeit quite muggy. The same could not be said for the ground which was soaking wet with water flowing everywhere, gravel and soil washed over tracks and roads, and everything else washed clean and fresh. Thanks for placing this cache for the rest of us to enjoy Weberhardie. Not found with Geooh GO

Walked up and down the fence but couldn’t spot the cache this time…

06-May-23
A spot of caching with RoamingHowie over this side of town - as long as the rain holds off.

Finally back to turn this frown upside down.

Thanks for bringing us here by placing this cache, Weberhardie

The weather wasn’t looking great for today, however it appeared there might be a break in the rain during the middle of the day, so OzHockeyChick and I decided to team up and head west away from the weather.

We made our way up to this cache to redeem a previous DNF. A previous finder had relocated the cache but had not published the details before our first visit and hence the cache was not found where it was originally meant to be.

Today we knew the cache was in a slightly different spot, and one that meant you could remain on public property. A quick find and off to the next one.

Thanks Weberhardie for adding this cache to the worldwide collection for us all to enjoy.

The Whittlesea Mega has been on and off for a long time due to that rotten COVID-19. The sad part is that due to MND I really think this could be my last Mega but I am in the area for a week thanks to my two great SA friends who travelled from SA visiting Ballarat for a couple of days and then moved down to Geelong only to pick me up and we are staying in Craigieburn for a week and then they are taking me back to Geelong. It’s generosity like that Geocaching folk are renowned for, plus all the help that I have received in the past few days which I will be forever grateful.
This guy was found, signed on the 22nd November 2022 with my two SA friends who were looking after the ageing Bushfire.
Thanks for placing and looking after this cache. I am slowly getting a few more of these caches logged but for how long I really don't know depends on the body.
The good news is that I am working on going to the Rutherglen Mega. So, time will tell, thanks to Weberhardie for placing this guy.

After the event and CITO this morning, I headed towards Sunbury, picking up some trads along the way. I was heading out of town towards a bonus cache and noticed this cache along the way, so why not stop? Found nice and easily.

Many thanks to Weberhardie for the cache.

Not in the former coordinates. My reading brings to:
S37° 32.816 E 144° 43.213

After arriving to a giant wall of private property signs and the former "log" of the hide (I can only assume) I eventually spotted the new container kept uphill from the provided coordinates.

Still on correct side of the fence.

22-Jan-23
Found at S 37° 32.824' E 144° 43.213'
Suspect it has been moved.
Still on the correct side of the fence!
TFTC.

I was up in Romsey finishing off some work that I had started recently at one of my kids place’s.
(They have only been waiting since June last year)
So after that I had a couple of hours to spare before I had to get home so I thought that I would finally make a start on some more caches around Sunbury especially a couple of the newer ones.
After doing part of an Ad Lab which was close by I spotted this one on my map and decided it was time for a walk amongst the Kangaroos.
I didn’t spot any kangaroos but I did spot some large warning signs and an eventually a cache as well.

Thanks Weberhardie TFTC.

A pleasant walk. No kangaroos seen though.

I found your D1.5/T1.5 Small Traditional called A walk amongst the kangaroos at 16:17 on 22 November 2022. It was find #16447 for me. Thank you Weberhardie for placing this cache for our enjoyment in the wonderful state of Victoria.

Whittlesea Mega Wobble and Wade Tour: Day 9: We went to Sunbury for the afternoon Surprised

Once again myself and Anymules were in Victoria on our way to a Mega event. Wink We made a detour via Geelong and picked up Bushfire. It had been three years since we last all cached together. [^] Today we set out for Sunbury for the afternoon with a pub meal at the local pub. Razz Many caches were found and unless something stood out these will be generic logs. Cool

Nice walk but we didn't see any kangaroos. Smile

***Thanks Weberhardie for putting out this cache and maintaining it for our enjoyment. *** Big Grin

My Nanna used to live about 500m from here. We would do walks down here long before there were houses, or this was even bitchumen. Spavin drive was once all gravel. Today a very short walk, and of course, greeted by Kangaroos! Great spot here for a cache. Used the coords in previous logs and Aysen made the find. Thanks!

Out and about with 80 degrees returning to complete this area and its not so windy and cold this time. Boy how it has developed. looking forward to seeing some wildlife here but so such luck. Did the walk to the fence and did not venture past the keep out signs. Spied the cache through the fence and retrieved it with a stick. We have now made it accessible at
corrected co ords 37 32.823 144 43.212 which is just meters away and clue still applies.

19-Jun-21
Out and about for a third day of caching around Sunbury width xambo4u. Oops a barb wire fence and plenty of keep out signs. After a wander away from GZ spied the cache across the fence. We managed a retrieve and placed it according to the clue on the right side of the fence.

19-Jun-21
There is no illusion when you arrive at GZ given the numerous private property signs. We inspected the location and referred to the hint but there was no cache to be found anywhere at GZ.

30-May-21

Awesome location with amazing scenery. Upon arriving at the location I found myself surrounded by several kangaroos; the joeys were adorable but do be cautious of the larger adult Roos as some were well over 6-7ft in height and of massive muscular build.
Thanks guys I thoroughly enjoyed my experience

Found by Aussie Train Driver 04/05/2020, find number 1532.
This cache was a quick find this afternoon. It is indeed a nice spot for a walk and I enjoyed continuing along the track. The erosion in the creek is certainly impressive here and I noted that up the hill there were signs of one of the grassfires earlier in the year.
The cache was completely exposed so I ensured it was better concealed before I departed. TFTC.

02-Mar-20
Great hide and a beautiful location.

21-Feb-20
We did not see any kangaroos this am but we did enjoy our walk in the bush - there were plenty of birds enjoying their morning, too. Very well blended in cache container found in a good hiding spot.
