A quick find whilst travelling to and around Carpenter Rocks today, on a very windy day....Who would jam a small toy in that? Muchless be the one to put it back in?I couldn't get the Swan out, so replaced the whole cache with same style.TNLNSL Thanks
Easy find. The little yellow plastic duck shoved in the cache is hard to extract to fill in paper.
What a gloomy Saturday it was as we set off for our little interstate holiday for the weekend. We were lucky enough between breaks in the rain to quickly get out of the car and go have a search of some close by caches along our travels. Thanks for placing for us to find today
TFTC Quick find just on dusk I think we shall turn toward Mt gambier cache is in good condition.
We have been in Portland visiting dad for a couple of weeks and we decided to have a couple of days caching in the SE corner of SA hoping to get our 10,000th SA find .This one was next on the list and we were quite happy the rain had stopped and the sun had poked through. We pulled up opposite GZ and spotted something which turned out to be the cache container. we added our names to the log and returned as found. Many thanks GeoVenture2020 for another smilie.
Travelling with richlink on our Annual Caravan Geocaching road trip, using geocaching as our guide. We are staying at Millicent for the week, finding some of the caches we should have found if we had not been prevented from attending the 2020 Mega by Covid19. Thanks for the cache. LNCU.
Travelling with iluvtrekking from our home state of WA on a SA caching foray. Staying in Millicent for a few days to grab some finds placed for the ill fated Mega because of Covid. Thanks for the hide. LNCU
We headed over the border for an event tomorrow but had time this afternoon to visit some caches. It was a beautiful day and after finding a few in the pine plantations we wended our way back to Tant where we were camped. Thanks for the fun GeocachingSA
I am still in SA after attending the Leap Year Mega Event in Adelaide and today targeting Regular size caches to achieve a challenge I am working on. I found this cache and the log signed. Thank you for placing and maintaining this cache.
A lovely day in the Millicent area, a bit of cloud, a bit of sun and a strong southerly wind.We enjoyed wandering the roads and finding caches as we went.We appreciate the work that the cache owners have done. Thanks to GeocachingSA for this hide.

Day 10 of our loop through Vic and SA then home.
Today fitzy_1965 and I again joined albida, Sol de lune & smittengranny. We signed as MAFSS to save room. Some of us may have rebelled and signed FAMSS instead.
We started the morning later than normal as we caught up with a couple of local cachers. Was great to share a cuppa with hevwalker and scramping! But all too soon we had to get going.
Our aim was to clear out as many caches between Millicent and Tantanoola. All caches were found quickly and easily unless otherwise mentioned.

Rutherglen Mega and South Australia Trip Day 10. Today was another great day for our little group - the last day the 5 of us will cache together for a while - caching around the Millicent region. We finished up chasing higher D/T caches, as well as some great forest drives and other caches along the way. Awesome. Quick find once at GZ. Signed, replaced, then we headed off to the next one.
Thanks GeoVenture !!

Southern Autumn adventure Day 11. Post Mega South East SA trip Day 5. Today was the last day with our team all together Fitzy_1965, Albida33, MinnieK, Sole de Lune & Smitten Granny and logs were signed as FAMSS or similar. We went to the south of Millicent to target some high D/T caches and some interesting clusters of caches on forests. After a wet few days, the weather was much better and we had a great time. We ended the day with a meal together in one of the Millicent Hotels and a cache just outside the door of the pub.

Day 3 of the 5 amigos caching in this area. A much more relaxed start to the day - it was agreed on 9 am as some of the group were catching up with a couple of local geobuddies.
Today we were targeting caches in Tantanoola so we gathered some high D/T caches and some that filled a calendar for some. This was one of the caches we found and our initials were added to the log. As "we" included minniek, Albida33, Fitzy_1965, Sol de Lune and myself Smittengranny logs were signed as MAFSS or FAMSS

After the Rutherglen mega, fitzy_1965, albida33, minniek, Smittengranny and myself headed to the Mount Gambier / Millicent region to tackle some of the caches from the Millicent mega that we couldn't get to.
Now onto day 3 of our run around the area and we started the day with a trip to Tantanoola, finding caches along the way, in town and then around the forests and back roads.
Many thanks to all the CO's for the caches and for the fun we had finding them.

Found on a grey afternoon. I thought I’d go out caching on one of the last days of my holidays. Luckily the road was quiet today. Tftc.
Tftc. Cute little critters nesting in the winter nearby where this cache was found
Owl was in town with Magpie and Ostrich for a family function and after a family lunch there was plenty of time for a drive. Owl decided to head to Tantanoola and grab a few caches on the way. This was a quick park and grab.
Found by The Empire with Rebel Acts
In Millicent for a few days of caching fun! The Crayfish was the first series we wanted to complete this morning. With the cold wind keeping the crowds at bay, we were able to find all of the caches in this series without too many interruptions from the locals.
With that series out of the way, we were able to chase some interesting difficulty/terrain combos with the ladder in the back of the Patrol. Heading back to the freeway, a couple more caches were in order. Rebel had found these already, making this super easy for me as we cruised through! Thanks for the cache GeoVenture2020.

with it being School holidays in Victoria I had some time spare to head to Millicent where I teamed up with the Empire for a few days caching in the area, we had a fantastic time exploring the area. Today was a nice easy day around Mt Gambier as I awaited for The Empire to arrive, once he arrived we headed around the Blue lake to do some Earth caches.
This is one of the caches found today. A quick find here, I have never seen so many lady beetles in the one spot before, they were attracted to the container.
Thanks GeocachingSA for the cache.

Over in SA again with a cut down group of geocaches compared to last time. We felt it was time this group of Victorians found some Millicent caches, as we were banned from the mega! We are signing the logs as Vic1. Thanks for the sometimes challenging caches GeoVenture2020!
Found with a team consisting of BecknMonts, McLookers, Maccamob, Rabbitto, and Muzza. The day turned out to be better than expected and the caching was good too. Many thanks to the CO's for the placements.
In the Millicent area for a few days, we are signing the logs as Vic1. Lots of ladybugs here. Thanks for placing the cache GeocachingSA.

Day 4: Today was spent traveling about doing a lot of lab caches before ending up at the show grounds for the Welcome to Country event. If anything was else came across our paths during the day you will find some comments
Here.. Mt. Gambier today. Quick find.
Only one of the three goals from last year achieved. So once again trying and fill my calendar with multi-caches and complete loop 11 again this year. [^] For my third goal I will try and get my DNF numbers from over fifty to single digits. That should keep me busy again this year! [:o)]
***Thanks GeoVenture2020 for putting out this cache and maintaining it for our enjoyment. ***

Quick drive by on the way to another cache. Cache was on the ground, placed it back where we thought it came from. Tftc
Accurate coordinates and an obvious hide location led to a quick find. The cache and contents were in good condition except that the logbook is full and needs replàcing. Thanks GeoVenture2020 for the cache.
after some R&R with the Geohusband and hound we finally headed out for an afternoon of caching. We did a little loop targeting some high terrain caches and some of the Sadie the CLeaning lady series. Managed about 20 for the arvo which was just about the Geohusband limit. Thanks to all for the fun hides.
Not a quick find eventually found on ground. Replaced in obvious spot. TFTC

Stay safe out there, caches and their hidey holes can be dirty and wet!
wash your hands, wipe down your cache gear, stay on this side of the border (it was tempting...)
sanitise, exercise, even wear a mask if hayfever season gets to you and
cache the countryside safely distanced at least a roo or an adult brown snake's length apart ! ! !
Have fun out there ! ! !

We stopped to get a few new release cache since the last trip, clear some dnf's off and grab some off the highway stray caches plus find a puzzle and a multi cache needed by me on this calendar day.
