I am archiving this cache since there's been no response from nor action by the cache owner within the time frame requested in a prior reviewer note.
Hi deefulThis geocache was brought to my attention as being in need of an owner maintenance visit and after my previous reviewer note, there has been no owner response. The cache owner needs to check on this cache ASAP and either replace it or archive it, after picking up any geo-litter. See the [maintenance section of the Geocache Listing Requirements/Guidelines](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#listingmaintenance).I've added this cache to my watchlist, and I will check back in four weeks to be sure that the maintenance has been done. In the meantime, I have temporarily disabled this listing. When the maintenance is completed, the owner can enable the listing by clicking on the link below the cache name to return it to active status.Whatever your intentions, please **post a note** here on the cache page (not email) to let us know that you are still active and maintaining the cache. If a month passes without seeing a response, then I'll assume that this listing should be archived. Please note, that if a cache is archived due to lack of owner maintenance, the cache is unable to be unarchived.RegardsTheCoddiwompler
Hi There Cache Owner. It seem as if your cache has been moved somewhere. Spent 20 minutes searching for it but still couldn't find it.
Looked everywhere, owner needs to find & relocate after new pathways now constructed In area thanks
Finally found after not finding last year
Initially a person was stretching within 1 metre so had to wait them out. Nice place to sit and wait. Then found container very exposed now propped under cheeks with bit of stick.

What a terrific spot to hide treasure. It took us a bit to find the correct Source. But Pencil Monitor spotted it first. thanks.
Found with summer salad but took a while to find the right source that you don’t see at first.
Sadly no pen so didn’t sign log
Might not be the OG spot but we put it back there anyway.️

Much easier than we expected...once we stopped and had a think and a look around haha. Not sure it was meant to be where we found it but put it back there anyway
Beautiful Sunday avo walk to find the cache, thanks for an excuse to explore this area
Great spot, Quick scramble, cache was soon in our hands. Out with PieateLinda on a frosty Wanaka morning. TFTC
After having stayed in a lovely Air BnB only a few hundred metres away we thought we'd grab this one before setting off on our travels for the day. This meant for a rather frosty walkway, but a lovely little walk.
At GZ we struggled for a while as our GPS had us on the other side of the area. Heed the hint. It's all about The Source.
After signing the log we headed back down to fill up our water bottle for the day.
Thanks deeful for bringing us to such a lovely spot (I can't believe one other log is from a local that had lived in Wanaka for 20 years and didn't know this place existed ). That's what I love about caching - the places (like this) that you discover .
Favourite point from me.

Had a really good look in all the obvious and "non" obvious places with no luck sorry
We spent quite a long time searching for the cache here, so many places it could be hidden. Got there in the end though. A very interesting little area that's not on the normal tourist radar. Thanks for placing this cache & bringing us to this unique place.

An interesting & informative location, thanks for bringing me here, another place I would never have discovered without geocaching.
Thanks deeful
Find recorded using GCDroid and logged using GSAK

Hi there deeful - a quiet day for me so I went out after lunch and found this cache. I'll swear that I looked there last trip, bt at least this time the hunt ended up with a find. A lovely spot with the Fisheries dept making it really accessible and useful. I found your cache at 0254pm after a short search - and the container and log were both found to be in good condition unless noted in the Fieldnotes below. TN, LN, SL. Thanks to deeful for this cache - the 1st of 1 finds for the day.
FieldNotes: The cache and log were both found in good condition.

Thought we’d do this one last cache this evening, and fill up the water bottles at the same time. TFTC
Left the pen in the car so no couldn't write in the cache sorry. A new wheelchair accessible part of the board walk makes a great loop including the cache.

New timber works giving two access points. But too many options now with new seating structure.
Good first cache, no tap anymore to fill up water, still a good find, thank you
Visiting from Melbourne, Australia & loved the walking path. Cute pink edged container
First find for this time in NZ. Close to the source Hint helped. Thanks for the cache.
Initially stopped by a closed path we found the other side and headed to GZ. Cache sound by kyb3r. Icy outside but dry inside. Looks like they are re-doing the path here hence why the other side was closed - hopefully the cache survives the works!
Considering the works going on here the find was all good! Filled up our water bottles and pleasantly surprised to find the water taste like nothing at all. Is this how water is supposed to taste!? Cheers
Was I Wanaka a few weeks ago and had a wander around here, good walkway but it did take a while to find the cache but we did eventually. Cheers for the smiley
Did not bring a pen! Were hunting for sensible location, but used the hint to narrow in.
. 1614. 11:20 am. Well, it took a lot longer to find then anticipated. I wandered round and round - not being sure how far out the GPS was as mentioned in previous logs and never seeing a tap. I also created more work for myself by interpreting how wide a path is before it's not the path, but thankfully I persevered long enough to make the find. TFT(spring)C.
A dnf now found. It still took some searching though. This is a nice spot for a walk. Last cache for the day, cheers.
Ms_KR and I are on a wee South Island break. Today we cruised around Wanaka, Hawea and Cromwell. There was a stong nor'wester wind and some lovely lenticular clouds, but it did stop biking and caching.
Thanks to all CO's for publishing and maintaining their caches. Cheers.

Gps was a bit off but description spot on. Filled up my water bottle. Sadly too far for hose to fill up the camper.
This is an interesting area to visit, such nice clear water too.
+ a marble, - nothing.

Tftc. Such a lovely reserve which I wouldn’t have found if it wasn’t for geocaching. I love this
Find number three for one/one/two/two. A nice wee walk, thanks for bringing me here.
Thanks for the cache, we found just a notebook hidden, so signed and replaced back where we found it.
Tricky but fun to find. Love the wee swappables. Thanks, have lived in Wanaka 20yrs and never explored this path.
Found with StreetWalkerNZ on another warm Wanaka day .
This was not a quick find as it was so hot in this sheltered location, and the boardwalk and wire netting covering it were burning hot. It was only when SW searched a little bit further from the source that the cache was found.
Lovely spot, well done to everyone involved in creating it. TFTC.

#20502. We enjoyed exploring this interesting area, but got scorched by the hot sun while searching. I was pleased to finally look at the right angle, in the right place, and spot the cache. TFTC.
In Wanaka for the night so I thought I would grab a couple more caches. TFTC. Beautiful are spot
I have been living in Wanaka for the last 9months and never knew this place existed. Awesome spot
After a couple of nights tramping the mototapu track I was back in town for a few caches before heading home tomorrow..quick find on a nice wee walkway felt very exposed from the houses below..tftc
