Heading to New Plymouth to do a bit of maintenance on a couple of my Taranaki caches, I was forced to take a detour, so here I am.All good here. TFTC

Not sure why I had this log taken down (we had found the cache) I am assuming it was because I had made a 'cheeky' comment about the 'padlock' that someone else had referred to...have had to travel back

Where is it?!!

Heading up to Whanganui with BFG & D for a weekend out of Wellington. This was one of BFG'S targeted caches for a challenge he's working on. We must be getting tired, as we took far longer than we should have needed to find this one!

Had an attack of the lurgy today so couldn't go to International Geocaching Day event, but I had to get a cache to celebrate the day. With the weather being inclement and me not being at 100% I wanted an easy, nearby park and grab. This was exactly what I wanted. Thanks for the cache and for showing me this reserve.

Tricky little one that!!

I was in the area on a quiet Easter Monday and had a look for this cache. Despite a good search it was no joy today.

Attacked by gorse bushes could find will try again another time

After my recent burst of caching activity to get the end of and beginning of year souvenirs I discovered, there are these base and summit souvenirs and I only needed one more cache sometime today to qualify for a summit. I had planned on returning home tomorrow so this could not wait, and with the industrial area pretty much shut down for the Christmas break, this seemed a good candidate to go after.

I went straight to GZ by instinct but male blindness prevailed and I widened my search area before resetting back to my starting position and wondering where my glasses had been last time.

4th to last dot day today!!! Had a DNF up the road a bit so luckily we saved this one for an emergency. Of course someone was right at GZ spraying for weeds when we arrived so had to wait a little for him to move on.
Nicely tucked away and I soon had my name on the log quick smart. TFTC Mum

Found it dangling but the paper was very wet

We went out to Lepperton today for lunch at the tawa glen which was really lovely and on the way we detoured around to locate a few caches in the area that i still had not got and this was one of them. The autumn leaves on the trees are looking lovely with all their various shades of gold and yellow etc. I am not sure what the hint pertains to as it is a little distance from the broken danger sign which really has no place to put a cache around ti so perhaps the sign has been altered. Thanks for this newer cache

Well what a blinking challenge that was - about two hours start to finish!!! After leaving a friend's place where we were working in an assignment together, I headed down the road to the nearest cache which was one I had looked for previously but today I was also foiled as there was soccer happening on the field. Blimmin heck. So I made my way to this cache but upon arriving here, I spotted a couple of vehicles at the nearest business and I didn't really feel like dealing with people watching me. So I went for a drive around the block collecting some munzees on the way. Arrived back at the gz and they were still there. Ffs. So I made my way to another multi cache and spent a fair amount of time trying to locate the information but I have up after not being able to do that. Made my way back to the cache and the vehicles were gone, hallelujah!! I would love to stay it was a quick find here but clearly my geosense is off these days!!As I was searching I turned around and spotted a munzee, attempted to scan it but it wouldn't scan, of course and just my luck. Anyway, nice to finally get a smiley here and pick up a dot day

Finally able to get to and find this cache after waiting for the required Covid-19 level to be approved. Seems such a long time to wait. Tftc.
