Out on a morning caching jaunt with the prime objective of picking off some caches needed for a couple of challenges I have underway. Cracking through these mysteries now. I spotted the cache as I pulled up for a quick park and grab. Thanks GlennandMagsPhilip#5580Found using Cachlymsc_20, formerly caching as msebn
Set out today for a goal of 1000 caches. Headed off from Rotorua detouring around seeing where we end up, appreciate the cache!

Quick find on this one.Greetings from Canada #2255 - Mar 4, 2024TFTC GlennandMagsPhilip
Quick easy find after a not so successful day out geocaching. Too many that we couldn’t find or had too many muggles around. TFTC
Make a little detour to Rotoorangi Road on my way to Cambridge for the week end. Thanks GlennandMagsPhilip for the cache.
A quick easy find. I couldnt resist walking a wee way up the road to take a photo of my recently found short term friend who i have nick named missy mooloo.
Our adventure was unfolding quite splendidly and being surrounded by all of these lush paddocks made us feel like we were back on Finniston Farm.
But time was of the essence and we were already feeling quite famished so a quick investigation was undertaken and a cheerful shout of "hurrah" was soon heard.
Where will our adventure take us next?

Loved this series set on a quietish country road. This wasn't a difficult find, and all the new logs are great! TFTC
Found but log too wet to get out. Can you please do maintenance on this series. Disappointing they all wet.
Paper was quite damp. Fortunately I had a pen with me that could sign it delicately.
It has been a long time since Team SEAC did a numbers day, so we jumped on the chance to join when Keylev initiated this day. We started at 8 am and got home around 11 pm, and attempted most caches in Cambridge, Te Awamutu and finishing with a night cache in Huntly. On our mission today was Keylev, UncleSamNZ, Liverkiwi, Draffin, B4Dawn and HeMaLuDy. Caches were signed with SEAC to save space.
Took a wee while, but with so many people searching we managed to make the find.

Like the Willy Nelson song, Team SEAC were On The Road Again. It had been quite a while since we had gathered to go on a road trip, so a trip to Cambridge was organised to clear out that town. All logs signed as S.E.A.C to preserve log space.
Some of the team jumped out of their vehicles and headed over to where they thought GZ was according to their GPSs. Then one of the team saw that they were all looking in completely the wrong place and went to find the cache at the correct GZ.
TFTC.

My first full day with Team SEAC! Very excited and a little intimidated! Very fun!
Useful to have the power of team SEAC! Multiple bodies helps tftc

It had been quite a while since Team SEAC had been on a caching road trip together so a plan was hatched for a day trip to clear out Cambridge. It was a long but fun day, as we cleared out Te Awamutu as well, with the promise of not leaving it so long before our next roadie. All caches were signed SEAC to save space.
This was find #24 for the day. A few were looking in the wrong place and then Uncle Sam wondered over to the correct GZ and soon found the cache, TFTC!

A number of Team SEAC banded together for a road trip day out targeting Cambridge and surrounds and ending up with a night cache. As per usual there were laughs, dramas, cache finding and a generally fun day!
Took a few moments to find the right hint item but didn't fool us today!
Thanks for the cache.

Decided to meet up with NZPatoto at Roro-o-rangi school to get 6 more smiles. We were going to bike, however with the dodgy weather I said I would drive. Glad we did because as we where having a coffee & muffin it poured down and we would of got wet. Instead we could sit in the car and stay dry and have a catch up & laugh. Found the 6 we had on our list.2 of 6 Found by NZPatoto We looked. It's got to be here. Think outside the square (it's been a while) and sure enough an easy find. TFTC
Nahkins and I decided to do the Roto-o-rangi geocaches before it rained. Nahkins was the driver. Easy parking. We both looked. She was leaning on a post looking when I looked down and thought mmm that's different. Viola found. Log is damp and I tried to sign it but the pen didn't work very good.TFTC
Thanks GlennandMagsPhilip for the cache. It’s #1434 for us. We found your cache on 23 February 2021. Another quick find - all is in order here

A great little series, based on a great little series. The Geckoh's group today is made up of more dogs than humans (3 to 2). They seem to be enjoying the ride in the van and are grateful, as we are, of the good parking and quick finds. TFTC

no cars on the road any where but as standing at the cache site 3 motor bikes came out from the house along road and came pasted. TFTC
TFTC - great day for a drive out of town. Easy find.. still in good condition. Some very protective locals - long story..
Out caching with nufrat in Hamilton and Cambridge today. Quick find. TFTC.
======== NZ Mega 2020 ========
NZ Mega 2020 is definitely happening, but has been postponed until 2021. It will be held in Auckland over Labour Weekend, 22 to 25 October 2021. It's going to be a massive celebration of geocaching:
20+ years of geocaching worldwide.
20+ years since New Zealand had the very first geocache hidden outside of USA.
All the 20s and now 21 as well!
Talk to your geo-friends and start planning to be part of this event - you won't want to miss it!

Out and about in the area for a few days, stopped to visit this one on our way, no problems with the find TFTC.
Loving the drive and easy caches. Watching my passport getting knock off quite quickly for the wonders of the world. Tftc

Good to be out and about again even if the day is a little wet Picking up a few caches on the way to and around Cambridge. Enjoyed the series and the drive out here TFTC
needed time out and something normal to do, with almost no one on the roads it was a pleasant ride today, this one was easy to find but was home to a couple of large spiders, a nearby stick soon solved that problem, tftc
**Found on our way home from a February - March tour around the South Island. Logging back home in Auckland in Lockdown isolation**
We spent last night at the Otorohanga NZMCA camp, and today are travelling home to Auckland after 8 weeks on the road. Perfect timing, as it turned out, as NZ went into Alert Level 2 that day. We spotted the ? icon on the map, and decided to do this series on the way. A quick find of #3, but not hidden as expected here. TFTC

Heading down to see my mother so thought to grab a few outlying caches along the way, early in the morning so no issue with the traffic
Well now that we are all in lockdown its a chance to catch up on the logging that I have been dutifully ignoring for the past several months. Thanks to all the cache owners that placed these out there
Thanks for the cache, thanks for the placement

Travelling back home from Auckland and knew I wouldn't make this mornings event but arranged to meet up with Squirrel Nutcase and 2 of his family members in Huntly.
Once again the plan was to circle around the Waikato. The starting point was the new yet not completed Expressway.
Another quick find with good hint given. SLTFTC

With Gap (of Fap and Gap), and nieces... The plan for today was to complete another sweep of the Waikato to clear some newish, and not so new hides. We have quite an ambitious route and a lot to do. By the time we met up with Gap, it was already mid morning...
Another straight forward find, Thanks GlennandMagsPhilip and TFTC.

TFTC, found this one once we paid attention to the gps coordinates and map instead of heading straight for the nearest couple of hint objects...
All quiet at GZ a quick search soon revealed the hidden treasure...signed and replaced as found...thanks for the placement
Going well, three down, and still no-one to bother us. Nice countryside, even if it is rather brown at present. TFTC
I wasnt concentrating on this one as I was busy googling info for the final mystery. Another nice hide in this series. Thanks for the placement.
We had to drive back towards town to get reception so after making a mental note of all the hints we set off again for our 3rd quick find of the day...even without phone reception.
We've left a wee bit of colour for someone else to find.
Tfgc

I had a job to do in Cambridge so headed home this way tftc. It is very dry around here
Find number 6769. Saw these pop up last night but not in a hurry to pick up as I had my FTF for February so it was a leisurely morning before coming for a drive. All quiet at GZ when I got there so able to do the business quickly. As I pulled out on to the main road a car turned into the road. Pleased I was on my way again. Thank you for the placement.
