Find number 14155 at 2:56:48pm on Wednesday the 25 September 2024We're on our way to WA Goes Big, travelling from Croydon (Melbourne, Victoria) with a caravan in tow and making a leisurely caching holiday across the Nullarbor and back.Well, WA Goes Big is done for another year and we are on our way home again now, via Perth, Kalgoorlie and the Nullarbor but slowly over the next five weeks Today we had planned to go south from Dawesville and inland a little on the quest for LGA's but an early morning call from RoamingHowie changed all that, "I'm chasing a D5/T5, are you interested?", HELL YEAH So off we headed, north rather than south, we still chased a few LGA's but also a few Giants as well.A few geocaches on the way in and out to the local Giant **Thanks for placing this cache macgyver1973**---*WOW, so much happening at home in Victoria*Dont forget to log your will attend for Victorias first ever Block Party in March 2025, the [**The Sunbury Event**](https://coord.info/GCAP417).Theres also all those lists of amazing geocaches at [Geocaching Victorias List webpage]( https://geocachingvictoria.com.au/information/great-caching-lists), go check them out.
Out enjoying a beautiful morning walk around the lake and grabbing some caches. We searched for a while before Leega hit the right spot. We added our names to your log and returned your cache back to where we found it. Love the location and enjoyed your cache so a favourite point coming up as soon as the next batch gets delivered. TFTC mcgyver1973.
Continuing our walk around the lake and we havent seen any swans but plenty of other water birds. We searched for a little while before this one was found. It was quite a way into its hiding spot so was easily overlooked. We sat and waited for a few muggles before returning to its hiding place. Thanks for the cache macgyver1973.
Such a cool cache! Almost gave up on this one such a rewarding find, tftc:)-E+E
Discovered another one of my special geocaches were takenPlease leave them for others to find if your new to the game pleaseBut enjoy the game Its awesome
### Cache Maintenance Visit Required please.###This geocache has been brought to my attention as needing an Owner Maintenance visit, as the logs indicate that it is most likely missing, or else some other problem exists with the cache. See the [GCHQ Health Score](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=713) process. It certainly needs to be checked by the Cache Owner. The cache owner needs to:* Take action to restore the cache or address issues such as correcting the D/T rating, or the posted coordinates.* Re-enable the cache by posting an Enable log* Post an Owner Maintenance log to advise what has been done and to clear any Needs Maintenance attribute that is present. Otherwise :* Post a Note Log to request more time if necessary or provide other information. **Do not use an Owner Maintenance log for this. That is for use only **when you actually do something to repair the cache**. Alternatively:* Archive the cache and remove any remaining geo-litter from the site.In the meantime, I've temporarily disabled the cache page to await owner action by macgyver1973 and to take it off the playing board to prevent further inconvenience to our Geocaching Community.[Please see the maintenance section of the Geocache Hiding Guidelines.](https://www.geocaching.com/play/guidelines?expand=1#cachemaintenance)**I will check back in 30 days** to see that action has been taken by the CO.If nothing has happened, I will conclude that the cache has been abandoned, and, unfortunately, I will need to Archive this cache. *Caches archived because of lack of maintenance/abandonment will not be unarchived.*The Geocaching Community needs to have a degree of certainty that a cache is in good condition and waiting to be found, and the CO has a responsibility to maintain their caches. Please see [my profile page](https://www.geocaching.com/p/default.aspx?u=Balayang) for additional information.Thank youBalayang -GeoffCommunity Reviewer
Had 3 pairs of eyes and were all over Gz with no joy. Suspect this one is no longer in situ.
If it is meant to be in an easy spot, then as others have said it is likely no longer here
Since we were with some previous finders, we feel we can safely say this one is gone, unfortunately.
Full time nomads since February 2014, here to visit family.
Now staying in East Rockingham for a few days. The plan was to head south and look for the Mandurah Giants. The plan was great but without too much planning we had no idea that the walks would be so long and well of course there were caches along the way! With a 3.8km walk to/from the first Giant and maybe 10 or 12 caches that took us nearly 2 hours. Then we drove from Lakelands to Halls Head and realised we had lost 1 of our phones. So back to Lakelands and back walking 1km to find the phone right where we left it thankfully. Then to the Mandurah visitors centre to find out what we didnt know about the Giants and a visit to Simmos by then the day was coming to a close!
A stop at the shops, meant we attempted a couple more caches that were just there.... then we had to complete an AdLab that we started on Thursday and of course by that stage it was definitely after hours so a visit to BYOB 16 rounded out our day. Phew.

Found it but couldn't grab it as some spider friends had also found it. Nice easy find
Had to go digging around a bit but we managed. Paper is quite damp, had fun nonetheless!
Doing a lap of the lake looking for giants and grabbing caches along the way. Thanks macgyver1973

Out and about again, down in Lakelands area to try and clean up some more territory.
Found a variety of hides and in different areas which made for a nice day. Generally quick finds today
Thanks to all the CO’s for the hides I found.

Time to hang around Mandurah for a bit with a few detours for LGAs. TFTC.
Took a bit of looking through potential spots before finding the right hole.

Search a few places before finding it. Log sheet was damp but managed to sign, kind of... Tftc
Realised I hadn’t found a cache this month so took a little walk along the lake to try my luck with this one. Searched a few places before tracking down the location and only then spotted the cache resting peacefully in its home. Signing duties completed, I returned the cache back to where it came from and went on my merry way.
