I am regretfully archiving this cache since there's been no response from nor action by the cache owner within the time frame requested in a prior reviewer note.
Hi Lis&Em
This geocache was brought to my attention as being in need of an owner maintenance visit and after my previous reviewer note, there has been no owner response. The cache owner needs to check on this cache ASAP and either replace it or archive it, after picking up any geo-litter. See the [maintenance section of the Geocache Listing Requirements/Guidelines](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#listingmaintenance).
I've added this cache to my watchlist, and I will check back in four weeks to be sure that the maintenance has been done. In the meantime, I have temporarily disabled this listing. When the maintenance is completed, the owner can enable the listing by clicking on the link below the cache name to return it to active status.
Whatever your intentions, please **post a note** here on the cache page (not email) to let us know that you are still active and maintaining the cache. If a month passes without seeing a response, then I'll assume that this listing should be archived.
Please note, that if a cache is archived due to lack of owner maintenance, the cache is unable to be unarchived.

Unfortunately couldn’t find this one while out adventuring; though looks it’s been gone for some time
A quick find with Tregearp whilst on a loop around Wakefield to earn some metres for the Reach the Peak challenge. All in good order. Thanks Lis&Em for the cache.
SJT_NZ and I headed off to get some caching in on such a lovely day, a nice loop walk down the cycle way, through Wakefield and out the other side while we attempted to climb the current peak. Thanks Lis&Em, all in good order.
Thanks for a quick find as we pulled in here for a coffee as we head through to St Arnauds on our way to Picton. Picked up the geotour cache and needed a refreshment on our way through. Thanks Lis&Em for the cache.
I came down to Wakefield to grab caches that I skipped as I drove by on previous occasions.
The cache was quite exposed, so I covered it afterwards. TFTC

Found with StreetWalkerNZ as we head south from Nelson to Brightwater, Wakefield and beyond, our object today is to find the ad labs in the area as well as solved puzzles and anything else that takes our fancy .
We parked nearby and found this cache as we walked towards the main street to do a few WPs of a Ad lab. We overshot GZ and focused our search on the wrong thing before realising our mistake. Cache was a quick find once in the right place [:)}. TFTC.

#19871. No luck at first as we were too fixated on the structure housing the various display boards. Troodles made a quick find once she'd expanded her search area. TFTC.
Part 1, Day 2. Four of us are on a trip away in the Nelson area. We are graciesgpsfun, Ethness, Jude_E and me. Thanks Lis&Em for creating this hide. It was find 9861 for me.

Nosynel, Graciesgpsfun, Ethmess and I are caching the top of the south. Today's mission will take us to St Arnaud. Spotted there was a cache here as we waited to use the facilities! A quick find. Many thanks.

A quick find with a replacement log. Signed GENJ. TFTC.
The holidays are here and the second half of the ‘Very Top of the South Tour’ begins. GraciesGPSFun and I have been joined by NosyNel and Jude_E and so the fun begin begins.

This one remained elusive so arranged a replacement with temp RITR log to help it along. Great info boards right beside it that kept me busy waiting for muggles to depart. Cheers
Zara and I are in Nelson for a few days. Toby stays behind this trip as hes back at the Motor Drs. Zaras booked for a heater - which was a 'no go' in the end. Some caching and and event at Tahuna. And check out some Op shops. So lets go see what we can find.

Despite there being a few people around today we managed to find the cache and retrieve it without anyone seeing. Also managed to find a small spot on the log strip to sign, but it definitely needs replacing. tftc
When I was a young un, I used to mow the lawns under these trees and up towards Faulkners Bush (and the mower was stored behind the Plunket building then behind the police station) so nice to come back and have an explore of the town. Cheers
Nice little find at our time in Wakefield. The real fruit ice cream shop round the corner is very good. TFTC! ~~Also the log book needs to be replaced as we signed the last box.
Visiting family for a few days cos its been ten years since we were last here.
Went for a quick walk to the village and grab some caches.
It was a quick find once the muggles cleared the area.

I was in Wakefield for a house viewing and had some spare time, so I came here. Looked for this one previously but couldn't find it, read some logs and thought I might be wrong thinking of a micro attached somehow to the boards. First time I went in circles and looked high and low. Just go with the hint and if you are lucky (like me) you will see it, but if it's nicely covered you won't - so just grab until you have it in hands. Signed, replaced and put cover on top (now that's a hint)
Another good cache found today with woolwood9.
*Enjoyed walking / driving around the area *
Thanks for putting out this container for us to find!
SL **tm/ww NZ** (may just be a black smudge on the many wet or plastic logs)

I came out to Wakefield to do some AdLab caches then thought I'd do a couple of trads while I was here. There was a car parked close to GZ and I knew its owners weren't far away so I kind of mooched about pretending to be invisible - - as you do. Oops, almost collided with someone going in the opposite direction round the info boards. Read a bit more history. "You're not geocaching by any chance are you?" I heard. Oops. Sprung! Turned out to be other cachers of course - - the Keewee team though they're more into rocks than caching theses days. We had a good ol' natter. By this time I had the cache in hand, and both teams signed the log. Then we all continued with our day. Thanks for the hide .
Easier than expected. No, that's not right. Was expecting it to be harder. So I looked in all the hard places first - I thought it might be a nano attached to the info board shelter. Not so. trust me to pick the hard option first!
I am leaving Marlborough soon and so putting in some serious effort to cache out the entire South Island before I leave. I always wanted to cycle the Dun railway and more of the Spooner line, so I thought this is probably my best opportunity. Grabbed my landlords bike and headed out without the dragon, just for a change. Cool weather, but sunny. Perfect cycling weather. The Dun was a stiffer ride than I was expecting, given that it is an ex-railway, but this one is a breeze. Which is nice as I tore a muscle or strained a sprain or something going up the Dun and it still hurts to use my legs. Now that that's done, bit more cycleway and a quick cache place.
After this find, just 8308 South Island caches to go... maybe a week?

A quick after-work trip to Wakefield to collect another couple of recently published caches.
Having originally thought this was another owner's cache, I set out looking for a different sort of hide, but following the GPS took me elsewhere nearby.
Just at that moment a car pulled up right by the GZ meaning I needed to occupy myself elsewhere for a minute or so until they pulled away.
Then, circling the GZ, I spotted the cache from just the right angle. Signed and returned with some additional natural camo.
Thanks Lis&Em

Another adventure out in Wakefield. The bakery nearby does amazing pies!! TFTC
Dad almost got it but not the smartest tool I the shed 12 year old helps tftc
We came over for a daytrip to attend the International Geocaching Day Community Celebration Event and to start our Wonders of the World collection with the intention of collecting a few lab caches aswell. On our return journey now and I had put this one on knowing their was a reststop here and it might be our last chance for awhile. Neither one of us needed to use the facilities but we couldnt resist stopping for just one more cache. We managed to collect all the Modern Wonders today so this cache started our Ancient Wonders. Thanks for placing this cache and adding to our smilies
A caching road trip up around the Baton area, Tapawera and Motupiko required a stopover in Wakefield to get fish and chips for dinner. While I was waiting for my order to be cooked I wandered over and found this cache. I seem to remember finding another near here some time ago. Thanks Lis&Em, this one looked brand new!
Thank you for this cache, Lis&Em.
I am spending a few days in Nelson and came out to Wakefield for lunch & exploring today; it was great to find that there was a fairly new cache across the road from our lunch place !

Found with Ulmuslynx on this calm warm day.
Arrived at GZ and it wasn't long before we spotted the cache

Parked in the nearby area and headed over to where I assumed it would be. That was a mistake. After circling the info booth a few times I looked over there instead. Ah, I saw and retrieved the cache and replaced as found. T F T C
A funny long weekend this one was. mrs capperz has headed to the North Island to await the birth of grandchild number 12, yes 12 (with another due in October), and so I was at a 'loose end', yeah right. Also on the agenda is an impending move of us and the household to Auckland, maybe as soon as 4 weeks time, and I have 3 days off work, fuel is not too badly priced at the minute (starting to sound like a Blues Brothers line) so it was a chance to roll down the drive for 3 separate forays into Nelson/Tasman territory to pick off some random caches. Not a 'numbers' trip, more a settling the stats trip. I was keen to make a few more beltfamily cache finds to get to the magical triple figures, plus some unfinished rail business from Marlborough's t S. A weekend of great tramping/walking/caching weather, 3 consecutive days of 20kms walked, nice, and some great scenery.

Quick find, we checked out the nearby structure first but not many spots matched the hint, so a quick find in the second place looked, as they say. TFTC lis&em.
We came to Wakefield to get some lunch from the bakery before heading to meet friends at Rabbit Island. Tanya suggested we get a few geocaches while here. This meant we got to walk through Faulkner’s Bush, part of it she had not explored before. A good day out.

Thanks it was very fun. I would not recommend it for small children because it is high up.
Found by SoBad while Mrs SoBad was checking another possible spot nearby. We have parked here a few times for coffee and for the start of cycle rides.
Thanks.
Thanks.
Getting a few caches on an enjoyable day. Submitted via Garmin Live Geocaching
It's a while since we had a dedicated caching trip around the area but with so many new ones recently it was time to do just that. It's always great to see new CO's too. Arriving near GZ, a quick look indicated a spot which I suggested to Hazedarus to check out while I casually tried to absorb some local history. In no time at all we had the log signed and back on the rod to the next one.
Thank you Lis&Em.
Thank you Lis&Em.
A flood of new caches to be found and a beautiful day. There's just no excuse to do anything else but do some maintenance and have a tiki-tour up country. It was the well practiced routine of one parking and the other scanning GZ. Then one leads from behind and suggests the other to look somewhere A quick find here when there was a lull in people coming and going. Thank you Lis&Em
A quiet morning at work today so I took some time out and a drive to find a few newish caches. This was the first one I came to. GPS hovered between a couple of features and the cache was found in the second place I checked. TFTC, Biggles.
I just couldn't find this cache in the two spots that I fully checked out. Then on my way back to the car I spot the most obvious place - a nice quick find there funnily enough! TFTC # 15,390
Having found the nearby cache published today, the dog and I casually walked along the river then into Wakefield and grabbed another newish cache. Thanks for the cache.
Travelling home after a couple of days of hard out caching on the Canterbury Plains.
I called by here for a quick find and sign this afternoon.

My GPS was all over the place, I'm sure I checked every place with 20 metres of where it actually was. I'd only just grabbed it when I was muggled by half of gkmlb as she left work. Talked for ages before heading home for tea. Good to see a new cacher finding gaps that is old timers had over looked. Thanks Lis&Em

Monday morning sitting having breakfast and causally checking my email. A new cache in the heart of Wakefield. Nothing too casual about the next few minutes. We were out the door in seconds hoping that we might get our monthly {FTF}. Luckily we did. Thanks for placing this cache and thank you for the smiley. It is exciting to have a new placer on our area. Looks like the cache owner is finding some good gaps in the area.
