Out caching with Aussie_Moose before it got too hot. Just as I was telling Moose about my many encounters with a huntsman on past containers.... one team across my fingers as "Exhibit A".
Just picking up a few more caches with goingplaces2 while still in the area. We limited caching for the day due to the heat. Logs were signed and replaced as found. TFTC.
Came along on a hot day with ilook4geo to add some more caches to our collection. There were a few caches we selected for the day and each found log had two more names added to note our visit. Thank you to Miss_Direction for placing this cache.
As I approached along the path I spotted my target location straight away. Clearing the caches in this area after a dog agility comp at Elimbah. TFTC
Met a long term geocacher recently and he told me what a UPS is, made this a quick find!
With NobbysNuts and we were now getting close to the end of the trail. We have had a bit of luck finding a few of the caches and others had been quick finds. This was another of the quick ones.TFTC Miss_Direction
a lovely walk along the bike track to GZ soaking up the glorious winter sunshine. Cache found quickly and in good condition. TFTC
Certainly an interesting message to read on our way to GZ. A quick find here. Thanks Miss_Direction
Another quick find, and all is in good condition here today, Thanks Miss Direction

Having more time in my life now since graduating university, I have decided to try to find the caches around my two work sites. Leaving work roughly on time today, I decided to tackle a few close by, starting with the furthest one away. This was that one. The Hamilton Series has been a great trip down the road, collecting the caches as I went.
Around about the fourth one, I realised that this whole process would have been significantly easier had I worked from the nearby path, but oh hey.....them's the things we do.
I climbed in and out of the bushes, screamed at spider webs, prayed I didn't find snakes, blasphemed at the massive march flies that attacked me, and eventually got most of them. I had to abandon ship on the last couple as it was getting dark and I live approximately 25 minutes away. I will be back for them another day.
Thanks for the adventure.

Today, baby Warren and I had an early start with a northern drive to Caboolture to participate in parkrun, and we used the opportunity to complete [Central Lakes Caboolture](https://labs.geocaching.com/goto/a7df1f4d-e91c-4a0f-adb0-023897a20506) Adventure Lab. It was then followed by [JaT's Community Celebration Event](https://coord.info/GC8K07H), where we had a lovely walk around the lakes area completing the [Caboolture - Centenary Lakes Park](https://labs.geocaching.com/goto/9c0d34cf-53ca-4489-8daf-9b64d9ef7e7a) Adventure Lab. We finished our half-day excursion with a hike up Saddleback Mountain / Mount Elimbah, which was a pleasant and scenic walk.
In the afternoon, I took a drive to Mitchelton's [Secret Santa Picnic - Community Celebration Event](https://coord.info/GC8K08T), and then visited a few geocaches around Ferny Grove, of which I had been meaning to return to after not having the correct TOTT when we walked [I'm Hooked on Geocaching](https://coord.info/GC38CEN).
Whilst baby Warren napped in the backseat, it gave me a chance to do a few quick driveby geocaches, so I concentrated on the musical Hamilton tribute series placed along Old Gympie Road. Consequently, I made a stop here, and after taking the short walk from the car, the cache was a quick find given my approach from the road. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks Miss_Direction for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

Can't smell anything cooking but I did find the cache. Ignore the log in the plastic bag as it is wet and falling apart. Instead use the log in the tube - its nice and dry. Thanks Miss Direction.
Miss_Direction I found your cache George Washington - (Hamilton) on 30/8/2022, 12:45 pm. This is my find 4028 and find # 10 today. A quick and easy ride by. Thanks for the cache, mate! TNSLLN
After visiting the Sunday Market at the Caboolture Showgrounds we walked back to camp and had some lunch. In the afternoon we headed out with a focus on the Harry Potter series, but of course picked up a few traditionals that crossed our path on the way. We got all bar one on our travels and had a successful if at times eventful day.
Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache Miss_Direction.

We took the geo-grandma and geo-great-niece out for some adventures this afternoon. At the GZ we had a quick search and came up with the find. TFTC
This morning i went for a brilliant bike ride from Caboolture to Woodford and return on the rail trail and back tracks through some beautiful forests. Went I got back I still had a heap of energy in the tanks so i decided to do a little loop north and collect a few caches along the way.

It didn’t take long to find this nicely sized container… tftc…

Found with Peppa, Giraffe 18 and 2manytrailers. Coordinating the correct song to match the cache is requiring me to stay in the car - what a shame - on this rainy day
Relogging found caches under the name Bonkersandshush to my other accountGAZKERSH.Thanks.Nice quick find while walking along the trail Thanks for the cache
I was out on a caching run this afternoon with the youngest stortigirl and newbie cacher "Mr Sowden" my eldest's partner who has developed an interest in caching (much to her disappointment ) . This one was another quick find and sign. Tftc!
We found a few in this series on the day we came to collect the Harry Potter series.
Thanks Miss_Direction from all our these along the way. A great musical and theme for this series.

TFTC. Hubby gone to races I’m caching. Who’s going to come back w the treasure?? Thank you Miss Direction for putting these caches out and giving me the reason to walk this trail.
Today we decided that we had attempted enough Little Bird and we headed off in a different direction. We found this trail which we did driving and walking. The walking was chosen due to the lack of suitable parking on the road, I know, it is meant to be done by bike or walking. All the caches we attempted were found and with the good size of the cache containers we dropped off a few TB’s to start the next leg of their journey. All caches were in good condition. SL TFTC
We have now set up camp at the Caboolture showgrounds. We have been joined for a couple of days by pprass.
While the men went off to finished the drum series, I decided to find the ones closest to the showgrounds. These were done using a combination of walking & driving. I did not pass another person along the bike path.
Thankyou Miss_Direction for placing this cache.

Lots of nice swag in this one but as the previous cacher mentioned, the contents are unfortunately wet.
Found at 4:02 PM GAFF1.
Nup - We are not in tune with what the narrative is referring to. Just too obscure for us.
A nice little hiding spot that us geocachers gravitate to immediately However the lovely colourful items in the container are now a bit saturated. Looks like the previous finder left a bit of the zip lock bag sticking out from the lid - and you know what that means
Thanks Miss_Direction

Dayboro trip. Day 8. This was listed as pre-Mega day. Check in was running so I collected my stuff and headed out for a morning caching. I chose an area that would not overlap with team caching over the next few days, out by Caboolture. There was a series on a bike path, three sets of Adventure lab and an assortment of other caches in between. The day ended with a multi for the days requirement. Then it was back to Dayboro show grounds for socialising and onsite gadget labs and other fun activities.
I chose this series to get started today. The forest made some of them a bit hard, but all in all a fun series to get me under way today.
Thanks.

Another nice easy find, but the log is very wet.
Thanks for hiding this series of caches. We spent an enjoyable morning looking for them.

Making my way back down the coast with hatzofff and RoddyC & spending a few days in the local area to do some geoart puzzles and others in between.
All hides were found relatively easy and apart from a few wet logbooks that we changed where we could, caches were in good condition.
Apologies for the generic logs CO's, thanks for placing for everyones enjoyment.

Out and about with Chamad on this wonderful Boxing Day to complete the B/W trail series, Hamilton series and any other caches that were in the vicinity. The weather was perfect with a hint of cloud at times to make the day a little more pleasant. We both thoroughly enjoyed our experience today and how can you not enjoy the backdrop of the Glass House Mountains, we really do live in such a wonderful location where we can experience places like this. After several hours we decided to call it quits, I finished the day with 30 finds and unfortunately 1 DNF.
Thank you to each an every CO for placing caches at each of these locations and for giving us a reason to visit.

I had contacted Geonayfee and said we hadn’t been caching together for a while did he want to come along for a morning of caching. I had planned to grab “little boxes” and the ones along the trail leading up to Beerburum .
After our success at our first cache this morning and the speed in which we knocked over the B/W trail, we discussed about hitting another series of caches and it was sort of on the way home, the Hamilton Series. Ok let’s do it and off we went. This series was a little sporadic as some caches were easy to find and some a little harder and took a good deal of time to find. However we did find all of the series. We passed a couple of others along the way and just had to stop and collect. An awesome end to a good morning of caching, just working in that balance of family and caching, lol.
Thanks to the CO’s for the placement of this series and the extra trads we found along the way. All logs were signed and caches were replaced as found.

Out today on a mission with OBC and mini-OBC. Swung by here for the next of over 120 finds today. Another quick find at this spot for us as we near the end of our long day.

Out and about on a power trail today - targeting the Roses geoart (wahoo! highly recommended), the Potter Puzzles geoart, and the Hamilton power trail. It was a long but fantastic day with myself, Pprime (P') and mini oz_bean_counter, and the logs were signed as OP'X to reflect this. Started at 4 am with a check on the US election progress, in the car by 4.45 am and the first cache by 5.30 am. Home and dead tired 12 hours later, where wine and pizza were necessary to refuel the body before I crashed for the night. I was delighted to end the day with 124 finds (plus 5 DNFs, and revisited 2 caches) - a new daily record for me. I was really really happy to be celebrating that achievement with family and good friends.
Thanks for all the COs for their time and effort in placing and maintaining these caches. Apologies for the generic log.
