WA Big Trip Winter 2024. Day 54 - Bunbury to Fremantle via Mundijong. I did some roadside caches along the highway before it became freeway. I had two more counties on the radar, so I took a bit of a detour and found a fantastic little village Mundijong. From there it was back on main roads and from Armidale it was all built up. I tried a reserve for some series caching, but it was very hard going off trail and I struggled. After setting up, I headed into Fremantle itself for dinner and then I went for a bit of a walk and managed three more before heading home for the night.Wow, a train went past ! I was poking around trying to decide where this one may be, but when I spied the cover I was happy and was able to extract the log. Thanks for the cache WebblyWA47871.16 TNLNVisited: World Traveling Gold GC A#6 & Ballarat Geotour 1 A#519**Albida**
After a lovely walk to the top of Mount Cooke, we came by this small town as we make our way back to Rockingham for the night. We stopped to read some of the information boards and the history, And then turned our attention to finding this Hide. Log signed and a short walk around here before moving along. Thanks WebblyWADomsky
In town for a 60th birthday, early for once so thought I would grab this while here. Quick find.TFTC
Last cache for the day. After a spot of lunch at the pub I wandered here to make this find. There was no log so I added a log sheet and replaced as found. With the long weekend giving more time for leisure, a call was put out by some of the FOTT lads to get together for a day out on Easter Monday. Its been an eternity since the planets have aligned in such a way that I was able to catch up with Granett and Kyzabra, so I was pretty keen. As usual, its an early start (even earlier for me) and we met up in Mundijong and headed off to make some finds. We had some free time so we ducked out to Mundijong to grab a couple of caches before it got dark. This was our first stop and Leega spotted it straight away. So we waited for a muggle to pass and made the grab. We added our names to your log and returned your cache back to where it lives. TFTC WebblyWA
Getting a couple of late afternoon caches with axell33 and so we came back to Mundi. This was a nice quick find. I love how they have revamped this quaint historic town. Thanks for the cache and greetings from Baldivis.
Cars piled back from train crossing so we did a leap into Mundijong for a quick find. TFTC.
We are pleased to be able to get out and about again and chase down some smilies. We had no real set plan but grabbed caches one after the other in a bit of a loop from home. This was one of the caches we collected today. Cheers and TFTC.
