Would always get washed away from rain so will remove it for now if someone else wants to hide a cache in this lovely park
With all the DNFs & not found since October 2020 this cache needs to be checked by the CO.
Spent a lot of time here with no result. GPS was very jumpy and I ended up with an area of 400 sq metres to check. After turning over rocks and digging through leaves for an hour or so decided to give it up and go home.
Put in a pretty decent search here, but walking away with the DNF. Between 2 phones and our Garmin, our search results were jumpy. 2 other girls turned up and seemed to be searching, but upon conversation, they were just exploring. We will be back!
One of us has a birthday today and to celebrate , we printed out some border passes to find a couple of newer caches over the border. Just finished the list and a last minute check of the emails and we see a new cache has been published. We were ready to go so a quick change of direction had us heading for the Springbrook road. Having grabbed the FTF up the mountain, we returned to the M1 and steered south for the border.
We started looking here in some obvious spots because GPS was a bit jumpy. Gave it a pretty good crack for about 5 minutes and then bailed as we hadn't sprayed and the mozzies were relentless and vicious. I always wonder where the blood has come from when you squash them before they bite you?? Lovely spot and we will be back but next time covered in 80% Deet Bushmans!!

Today we were very fortunate. We spent some time here scrambling about this beautiful creek. This is another one of those locations where you say: ‘without geocaching I’d never have known this was here’. So thank you so much for placing a cache here that showed us this pretty section of rainforest with its stream. The cache proved elusive and GayeNT was nearby and popped down to help us as a previous finder. It was definitely missing so we checked with the CO and got permission to replace it as we had the previous finder with us. So cache is the same container with an updated log, a trackable and a pathtag.
Take care to replace it well with its camo to help prevent it from being seen by muggles or washed away by high water.
Cheers and happy caching!

Making a second visit to try and find this cache we did a pretty thorough search before making a PAF call and still no luck even with GayNT a previous finder we contacted the CO. With permission we put a similar cache in place and thank the CO for allowing us to do so.
Having spent a fair bit of my life in the area I had no idea this park existed. Thanks Jacko2484 and Benfolds7 showing me around my backyard!!!!

Watawieh from Norfolk Island South Pacific.
I had spotted the cache, clipped my GPSr to my belt, turned around and reached in for the cache. SPLASH. My GPSr fell into the stream and could no longer be seen under the raining water. Quickly I reached in and found it. Luckily I had bought a waterproof Garmin. I sure tested the waterproof rating today.
Watch out for the mosquitoes here. They will eat you alive. And hang onto your GPSr! TFTC
Found on 19/03/2020 before the CV restrictions. I am catching up on my logs

Brought my partner down so he could grab the cache and WOW! A massive tree has fallen over! Cache is still easily accessible but look out!
It's not everyday you see a natural looking waterfall in suburbia. Excellent location, but I had a quick look and couldn't find the cache. I only spent 5 minutes looking as it started to rain and I didn't bring any mozzie repellent. I'll be back though.
FTF! After battling mozzies and a dodgy GPS signal due to the weather I’ve found it. Had to make a quick trip to coles to buy some OFF! Thanks for sharing this great location it’s incredible! TFTC
