Find # 16072Down in Melton to hit up some caches and Adventure Labs. But main reason was to go motorbike helmet shopping. After checking out a couple of bike shops in Melton, I headed around town grabbing ad labs. But then decided to head to Keilor to check out a few more bike shops... With shopping done I headed back to my original plan, "cache around Melton", hitting up The Toolern Vale Triangle and the Merry Bush Christmas trails and what ever other caches came up on the GPS. All caches found had no issues. It was great to be on some back tracks and make finds in an area I've had my eye on for some time now.TFTC Benjamin Screamer
Geoturtle37 and I headed off a little early for the pre event for The Great Cache Crawl that starts tomorrow. As we pulled up, we wondered where the cache was going to be. Ah, that makes sense now. Thanks for placing this cache for all to enjoy.
We chuckled at this hiding place too. Would want to be careful in there in summer. TFTC.
Out on the road with Mrs Cogs in the PeuGEOt to do a series of caches in the Toolern Vale area. TFTC

I was near Sunbury today so I decided to go to Toolern Vale Triangle series. Nice size cache here and a quick easy park and find. TFTC Benjamin Screamer
Found by Mary and David at 14:05. We are having a real Benjamin Screamer afternoon. Love your work. Nicely hidden. Our thanks to Benjamin Screamer.
Nice quick find with the hint. *The generic bit*We took our new geo-vehicle on an overnight trip and did some caching on the way home. Although the weather was a bit cold and miserable to start with, once the sun cam out it was a pleasant day for a drive. We found a good assortment of caches, completed a few adventure labs and learnt a thing or two along the way. Thanks to all the COs for placing and maintaining the caches.
It helps if you look at the map lol. Easy find once I was in the right spot. Tftc
2nd last for today Mmmmm if Im not mistaken that would have been Nutella! Easy find, signed log and now off for my last quick cache for the day.TFTC
Team_Riley taking our kids for the first time in years. Our 6yr old sons first geocaching experience.TFTC
11:29"Intervening Days" the pause between Christmas and New Year! After attending The Intervening days CITO 2023 and Intervening Days (Revisited) XV Events, the triangles looked like a Christmas treat for our map. Many school days memories were awakened as we worked successfully on the isosceles here. Thanks to Benjamin Screamer for hiding caches in interesting locations. 36260
I was a little worried about what state this would be in when I saw the roadside grassland had been burnt. I jumped out of the car and went on the hunt. Slightly wary of snakes I got down and had a good look before retrieving the cache It is in good condition and the fire had not bothered it!Ran into my old boss and got chatting after this find so I didn't get the rest, guess i'll have to come back! Had 2 BenjaminScreamer caches as goals for the day on this dreary overcast Sunday in July. However, I decided to take a little detour to complete this Infernal & Toolern Vale triangle series.
With consistently spot-on coordinates, perfect hints & great containers with dry logs, I breezed through all of them.
Many thanks

We just got back from overseas yesterday and the countries visited had hardly any caches, so we are well behind in this month's wheel of challenge. So, a huge day of caching: ad labs, trads and of course hunting out those with lots of favourite points.
A spot of caching with RoamingHowie over this side of town - as long as the rain holds off.
Thanks for bringing us here by placing this cache, Benjamin Screamer

The weather wasn’t looking great for today, however it appeared there might be a break in the rain during the middle of the day, so OzHockeyChick and I decided to team up and head west away from the weather.
The sun was fading and the temperature dropping further. We decided to whip around and complete this triangle as one of our last adventures for the day. Cache found in good order.
Thanks Benjamin Screamer for adding this cache to the worldwide collection for us all to enjoy.

While staying in Melbourne we picked up a few caches in the area and this was one of them.
Cache and contents were in good condition.

Out and about with Echidna44, we decided to do this Triangle series. we looked in quite a few places before noticing a great little hiding place, which was where the cache was located.
Out with Boabtree, we had a lovely day caching in the Toolern Vale area.
The GPS seemed to bounce about here so we tried quite a few places before discovering the little nook. Thanks Benjamin Screamer.

Another quick find, its just as well because i am meeting a friend for lunch and dont have much time.
The Trip
I think the stars have finally aligned for a two night trip, caching and camping along the Great Dividing Range. It seems that every time i have planned a caching trip in the last six months something has come up to thwart my plans or cut my trip short. I have high hopes that this week it will be perfect.
I started at Moorabool Reservoir and will be collecting caches from there in the direction of Riddells Creek although i have a lot to find so am unlikely to make it that far. The weather is glorious and there is a cool lilt in the air which makes for a pleasant change from home, and the shady forests are vibrant.
Champagne caching!

I had headed to Melton today to attend the Intervening Days (Revisited) XIV event but with a bit of time up my sleeve, I decided to go a little bit further North to find a few other caches in the area, this being one of them.
I didn’t notice this critter when I got out of the car only spotting it when I returned, lucky for me it was already dead.
**Thanks to Benjamin Screamer for placing this cache.**

After attending the Intervening Days Event in Melton with BettyBoo3747 and the geodoggies, BB completed a couple of AdLabs around town, and then we came to look at these triangles.
A nice collection of good sized caches with easy finds.
Thanks, Robmc.

#20674. Aaah Melbourne you have done it again - mind-boggling heat one day and cold the next. We are off to Melton to attend an Event and find a few other caches in the area.
Thanks to the hint and good coordinates it didn't take long to find this one and add our names to the log sheet.
Thanks Benjamin Screamer

We have arrived in Melbourne to attend the MEGA Event at Whittlesea, so of course we came over a few days before to do some geocaching first!
woolwood9 and I had a good time and this was a cache we located.
This area had seen a lot of rain, all the grass was wet and some large areas of flooding.
Road closed here but we just drove around the sign as I think it was ok for us and we had no problems getting through.

Second find in this series.
After checking out the famous post down the road I made my way up here.
The side road was closed so that made parking quite easy.
I propped to the side of the intersection.
*To be fair, it's not exactly the WRR here.*
No muggles at all so far.
There was a bit of water laying around but, once again, GZ was easily accessed.
Cache found, stamped and returned.
All in good order here too.
Thank again Benjamin Screamer.

Found on our way to our accommodation in Daylesford for a geocaching weekend, this was a pretty quick and easy find although it's a bit of a shame about all the rubbish dumped around here though. TFTC!
It's a real shame to see how much rubbish gets dumped around here.
Thanks for the find again

They said Go West Young Man and so I did. I dropped my caravan off in Campbellfield for service this morning and had a couple of hours to kill, lets go geocaching
On the way back to pickup the caravan now and grabbing odd geocaches as I pass.
Coldish and wind blown out here today.
**Thanks for placing this cache Benjamin Screamer**
