Well, I was one of the more challenging hides in the series so far. As the last two cash or mention, the lid is not that form fitting you might say. And also when youre in the area behind the lookout for a little slick little snake that was coming by to say hi, as well as why I was just a diving into the thorns! Thanks for the fun!

Venturing along the Landsdowne power trail with Storm_cacher, we raced against time to find as many geocaches as we could before the looming storm struck. Despite only getting 15 caches, it remained an incredibly enjoyable day.

In the area between other commitments so time to try and finish off this series. Picked a different starting point to try and minimise the loop. Made good progress despite the heat. All logs signed and generally no real issues with the finds. TFTC

OCW GZed. A challenging power trail is a good power trail. Camo has come off. If there was a number on the lid, it’s smudged due to moisture. TFTC!

Coordinates changed from:
S 33° 53.776 E 150° 58.509

Coordinates changed to:
S 33° 53.777 E 150° 58.499

Distance from original: 50.9 feet or 15.5 meters.

The area has been designated by all the water. I couldn’t find the cache in its original location. I’ve replaced it at the new coords and it’s now secured at the location.

Walked over from #9, spent the most amount of time here, this was a tough find

01-Jan-22
Had a cursory look for this cache in the less densely grassed spots, but wasn't able to turn anything up. We'd met a local walking the trail by the water a short way back, who informed us they had seen a number of large black snakes on or near the paths in the last few days ....from this point forward in our day we were much more cautious of walking in grass / taller plants where the ground couldn't clearly be seen - so a number of caches further along the trail were abandoned as a result. We plan to come back in winter to complete the power trail when the snakes are less active!! Smile

11-Oct-21
Hahaha I went way deeper that I had to for this one. But a satisfying find in the end tftc

06-Oct-21
Searched all the grass, couldn't find it, we'll have to come back

28-Sep-21
Great start to my day, walking around Boggabilla reserve and caching of course!
Gz placed this on the wrong side of the path. Tftc Smile

04-Jul-21
Hard find. We were looking on the wrong Side of the path.

28-Jun-21
This one took the longest by far. Even though I could reach it from the track, I looked in so many different spots because the grass is so long and overgrown. TFTC

11-May-21
Quick check on a few in this series. This one is still there, good condition and waiting to be found.

30-Oct-20
I managed to fit in a days caching before the wet weather had us house-bound or doing other less exciting activities. With my pushbike as the preferred mode of travel I targeted a few caches on the bike.

This series of caches was to be my focus for the day, after parking near No: 1 it took me a couple of hours pedalling around this great pocket of bush to nab the series. Well done on a great series of caches.

Thanks to CO's for your caches that I found throughout the day. Smile

21-Oct-20
This will be a copy and paste log!

Awesome day out finding all these caches with some friends!! All were straight forward! Didn't have fun dealing with all the spider webs but great getting a large number of caches! Thank you for placing these on a wonderful trail!!

Out for a couple of hours to find some of the geocaches on this trail. This is the 8th of 11 found today with gotheallblacks, reels and burgercraft. Stopped just before the rain.
Thank you for showing us this part of Sydney and for the trail.
I also really enjoyed the size of these caches.

16-Sep-20
Within easy reach, but fairly well concealed. TFTC!

10-Sep-20
Ms Atalanta is my recent companion while geocaching as she sometimes wags work to come with me. That's OK as she has her own business and answers the phone as and when required while caching. Today was a nice spring day following a day of drizzle, and we found ourselves on the Lansdowne power trail. Actually at one time I lived at Upper Lansdowne, some 300km from here. A nice but easy series of caches. Thanks for placing them.

25-Aug-20
This log is a bit damp but still serviceable. Might be worth remembering.

Freezing morning, ominous looking clouds, wind... who said it's not a good geocaching day.. not us! Set out today with 2 geonieces to tackle half of this trail. Great trail for kids. Good clues, visable geotrails, caches all easily found, nice walking tracks, varied hiding methods. The kids also enjoyed the suspense of whether they would find a number inside each cache. Overall a good morning out. Will be back to finish this trail off another day. Thanks for placing these caches!

16-Jul-20
On a cache run with phlphotos today and decided to collect some more multi-caches that we need for a challenge cache. Whilst down here we made a decision to collect some of the LPT. Another quick find on the trail. With the cache in hand, we signed the log before replacing it as found. Both the log and cache container are in good condition. Thanks for cache jessbarnard.

The following TBs came through for the mileage : Bob geoMinion, Dave geoMinion, Evil geoMinion, Jerry geoMinion, Larry geoMinion, Mary Hyde's Treasure, Stuart geoMinion, teamMerlin's 7 Deadly Ducks Tag (Lust), Vanlith The Youngling, Hidden Creatures Geocoin TB, teamMerlin's Football, Daltus-Dachzeltbus39

16-Jul-20
Down this way to get some multis with teamMerlin after getting Bird sphere crossed over the road and came after a few of the Landsdowne power trail while here. Ended up with 6 of the trail caches started with this one.

Another one that we spotted as we approached pulled out the log and the zip lock bag was wet but the log was dry

With cache in hand we signed the log and replaced as found. Both the cache and log are in good condition. Thanks for bringing me to the area and thanks for placing the cache jessbarnard

The following TBs visited for the distance - Hawkesbury Tiger, 2011- 2019 NSW geocoins, Area 51 Tag, Cache In Trash Out Geocoin, Cache In Trash Out Tag, CITO Micro Geocoin, dirty Black Juke, Four Elements Geocoin, Mary Hyde's compass, Optical Illusion Geocoin, Spindoc Bob Memorial Geocoin, Trackable Building Brick, Wales Flag, Wheel of Caching Geocoin

I joined a trip to Maitland with Aquilus1, dty73, Tankengine, Barb2e, Kitty Katch & Joolay. The weekends main game was to do the dogs head series, but along the way we did some old caches around Sydney and did as many Maitland caches as time allowed. The return journey was via some old caches and some challenges that may or may not be met one day.

Day 1 was the big drive north, broken by a few stops in Sydney including Australia's Oldest cache at Lane Cove.

Thanks for the cache jessbarnard

Found with and signed the Capital Crunchers who are: dty73, Tankengine, joolay, kittycatch, Albida33, Barb2e. A four day caching trip up around Maitland collecting a number of caches of interest to suit everyone along for the fun. A lovely area, very scenic, green and lots of historic locations. Also some great caching to be done while in the area as well as on our way there and home.

Came in for an old cache, collected a few along the way. Quite a nice walk along and a good chance to stretch the legs.
