Found an empty clip lock bag on the ground which I assume was the cache. Needs maintenance.
Unfortunately it is a DNF for us. We spent a good 30min looking high and low around GZ.
How can someone log a find when they didn’t

We quickly found some clever camo but no container or log. We checked out all the little nooks and crannies but with no success. TFTH
Two TASSIES still in Hervey Bay recovering from a torrid week at the Gympie Music Muster. Thought we would start at Point Vernon and work our way back to log caches which weren't here in 2019. Well, this fig'n tree did not reveal its treasure today. However, we did find a small ziplock bag amongst the roots. Maybe that is all that remains of this hide ? ? Thanks for placing it anyways GazaCasa.
Accurate coordinates made this a quick find , all's good at gz . Thanks GazaCasa
Our final cache for the day, one we drove past on our way out, but stopped on our return. We weren't optimistic with the size of the cache and its location, but it was found quickly.
Today we left Bundaberg after some great sightseeing and caching and headed for Hervey Bay. As we weren't traveling far we stopped and picked up caches on our way where it was safe to do so. This involved a stop in Chiders where we walked around town and had a look around. A nice lunch was had at the bakery there.
Once at Hervey Bay we set up camp and had a relax before heading out to do some more caching and sightseeing. We particularly enjoyed the drive along the coast.
All up a day with plenty of variety; traditionals, multi, wherigos, and Labs on our journey.
Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache GazaCasa.

TFTC! Finally turned this frown to a smiley! I’ve been a bit of a hit and miss with these types of hides in the past. Today must have been my lucky day!
Nice day with HCH. Found cache still in container on ground unsure where it came from. Replaced in one of the many holes in the tree. TFTC
What a beautiful old tree. Still a bit wet under foot after all the rain we've had recently. After some scratching we soon had the tiny container in our hands.
Signed the log and returned as found.

Stranded in the area after returning from a few days on K'gari and unable to head back south. What can one do, eat, drink geocache and see the sights.
What a nice place and a awesome tree!
Thank you for showing this place.
Thanks for the cache and many greetings from Germany,

Found it in a plastic ziplock bag after digging round for ages. Might have lost its case
This was a quick find at an absolutely beautiful tree. Everything is hunky-dory with this little cutie. TFTC
Out caching with Konie. After finding a nearby cache, we headed to this one. It was quickly located and the log signed. TFTC
Heading to Hervey Bay today with Selva Girls and once there picked up caches along the foreshore and this was one of them. Once at GZ the cache was soon in hand and once the log was signed all was returned as found.

Yep, those beautiful figs. Beautiful area. This was a pretty easy find and we thankyou for such a fun scooting day. ...so far...
Our holiday to Emerald to collect the geoart meant a nice square/circle route including Hervey Bay to see family for a few days. This was a quick find.
Logging old caches originally found with alphag_25. Now have my own account and logging them separately so that i can claim the finds or not as the case may be. TFTC.
28/6/21 Staying in Hervey Bay catching up with my Parents who have travelled here for a visit. I am on holidays from Mackay. Beautiful sunny day today. TFTC SL
We are certain that we have been to this tree before to find a cache, here we are here again. It was hubby who was in the right place to find the cache. SL TFTC
TFTC. We have been staying in Maryborough and most of our caching has been in that area. Today we decided to take a trio down to Hervey Bay for some caching. We had done a lot of caches in Hervey Bay on our last trip a few years ago. We followed the coast from Point Vernon down to Pialba and just a bit further. We picked up quite a few caches that have been placed since our last visit.

Headed to Hervey bay for my annual pilgrimage to see my daughters on their first day of school for the year. Lucky there's a couple of hundred of caches between Hervey Bay and home.
This was cache **16** of **70** All caches were found with ease and in good condition unless otherwise said, and I thank each of the Cache Owners for placing and maintaing these caches. I apologise for the generic logs, it doen't mean the effort has not gone unnoticed.
Found in the first place that I looked which was a nice surprise given the heat and desire to be in the aircon
Thanks for the cache **GazaCasa**

Hi there GazaCasa.
We found your cache **"Hervey Bay Views *13"** today.
The plan for the day was to attempt the nearby Adventure Lab Cache, and we wanted to re-try this one as there was nobody to interrupt our search this time. At the end of the day we logged 7 caches (and DNF'd 0).
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found your cache near where the GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape.
**Took:** Nothing
**Left:** Nothing
Thank you GazaCasa for adding to our adventure.
Regards
Ian & Penny
PS: It's no wonder that our grandkids have lost all interest in caching, there's no thrill for them any more. The trend of placing small caches without swaps is increasing, especially in a spots such as this - where a much larger container could have been placed. Doesn't anyone want to place large, kid friendly caches any more. [?]

Hi there GazaCasa.
This is the 2nd of 2 caches we didn't find today. [:(!]
We spent quite some time here but there were too many drunken youths fighting and throwing bottles so we couldn't locate your cache, so here's a DNF from us.

As said last week, we are back in Hervey Bay, staying a couple of days here with our 8yo granddaughter.
We love the waterpark, the playgrounds, the Skatepark, the beach..... and caching.

Good find. Had to be careful of mufflers around considering lots of people walk their dogs here but tftg
Tricky find!!! But after a good dig around we got it! It seems to leak a bit. Log bit water damaged. Swag dropped.
Absolutely glorious tree though!

Both had a very good look here. Found an empty small plastic bag so wonder if it’s gone missing again.
All was quiet at GZ as we continued our walk along this stunning Esplanade. The last two along here we had given a miss to, since the lawn was being mowed by a very active person on their ride-on lawnmower. we can come back for those later. A beautiful historic tree at GZ, and with a little probing and prodding, soon had the container in our hands.
Log signed. Thanks GazaCasa

So, now I’m confused as the plaque says this tree has been here since 1884. There’s a fig tree at Cleveland claiming to be Queensland’s oldest
Cache was MIA but soon sorted out with the CO

TFTC Love this big Mother Earth tree... looks like someone has tried to protect it. A little search but found, log in good condition.
Second day in Hervey Bay, had breakfast, quick grab a cache while walking back to the resort and riding bikes along the water front and collecting as much caches as one can in a day.

After a very wet trip we arrived into town this morning & have set up in the caravan park.
This morning we cached along the foreshore, finishing up with the Adventure Lab Cache.
Thanks for placing this amazing series GazaCasa

For this cache find,
I took a stroll from several hundred metres away.
The stroll took me through the official 'dog off leash' area,
so I had to watch that I didn't step on 'land mines' more than usual [:o]
With clean boots I made it to GZ,
for a quick cache find
That figures !!

Day two in the Bay and was out at the Harbour just on sun rise. this is the next one on my list. I have had a good 2 days down here. Will only be 4 left in the Bay that could not get this trip. Hint was very helpful. Not a quick find here. I had the co ordinates 7 meters out and this sized container is very hard to see in all the natural material on the ground. Could be cache creep. Replaced it at the base of the tree behind the plaque. I signed most logs YOF as that is what I use to conserve space on the log. good co ordinates for this one. TFTC GazaCassa
Out with the dog for an afternoon drive ... and we stopped in to find this cache. Quick and easy find. TFTC.
Took the dogs for a walk on the shore after enjoying lunch with our old neighbours. A beautiful winters day, makes your glad to be a Queenslander. No lid but all safe and dry. TFTC
Cache found minus lid as previous finder noted.
Log was dry though so added a gladerap cover until it can be repaired.
Thanks again GazaCasa

Container is missing it’s lid ....log wet so in need of maintenance...due to size we are unable to give it waterproof protection...lovely spot which is completely Muggle free TFTC
***FTF*** We eventually figured it out. Nice hide GazaCasa. A FAV from us.
