Just a couple of doors down from where were staying for the Coldplay gig. Nice. TFTC
It helps to read the cache page Once I was on the upper level, it was time to admire the view, and I agree it is a special one. Then the cache, well that is very creative themightysundins, and unique. Like the hide and the adventure of coming up to the top. Thanks for the hide and bringing me here.
Looks like our cache has gone walkabout..will try and get up and running again soon
Had an idea thinking I knew where it was and after looking and touching nearly everything couldnt find it. So looked for spoilers in the Logs and apparently its not here I hope thats the case! Ill come back another day and have a geez
Yooo! We found it, that was a fun cacheGot here just in time as it has started to rain! Tftc from my boyfriend Yuri and I!
Nicely done! A few meters from the coordinates, but not so difficult if you know what to look for However, the log book is unfortunately mostly gone, see picture
#935 We bolted up to take in the view and found the cache promptly after. The log was very delicate and wet, so we did nut want to screw up the extraction effort. Unfortunately our pen tore the page a little as we were signing. It needs a way of keeping the paper dry, but this is a great first hide.
Very interesting instead. You may not see it at first but it's obvious once u found it
Was way early for an appointment so took the opportunity to find some caches in an area Im not usually in.Gps had me stopped a little short for this one. I had an idea what I might be looking for but nope when I saw it I knew and whilst I was on the right lines I hadnt envisaged that.Fav point for the camo. Thanks for the cache!
Very creative and good first cache for our first exploration in this area. Thanks
We couldn't find this geocache, it really stumped us. We tried hard but couldn't find it. We will one day come back and avenge a DNF.
TFTC. Amazing cache, great design and a nice and easy find. Wasn’t sure at whether to go up or down! Worth a FP.
What an awesome hide! The view was stunning at sunset. Also fantastic camo and construction. I would never have known that it was your first hide if you hadn't mentioned it.
Found with Cephy - thanks for the hide!

I remember coming here one time and thinking the cache was in that rock wall somewhere and on that day a large truck was right on GZ and I didn't want to look like a thrief sneaking around the truck so up and left.
Came back here today before a going away event for CyclicalCaching and PJRJBO and realised I had been here before, so this time I happened to read the cache page properly and soon realised the cache no where the rock wall as such. So up the path I went until I spotted with my super keen caching eyes something out of place, yea.... that's gotta be it alright! Sure enough I had the cache in hand.
I signed in and I thought this was quite clever, thanks for the hide guys. Now off to another cache before meeting up with rusty, aiden and tramyard for an earth cache.

I was initially looking just a few metres away from where it was, and then a kind gentleman pointed me to the general area where it was and I quickly saw it. I didn’t have a pen though so I didn’t write my name in the log.
On our way home from a day out with Team Welsh we decided to pick up just a few more. Stopped by to check out My First View, but initially failed to spot the hide. Then the CO popped ourt with the container in hand. Ah, that explains it. Nice camo, thanks.
And it’s a great view. Have to admit to using a spoiler photo to get this one but I like to think we would have found it eventually. Tftc
Checked all of the ‘things’ along the ‘place’ and I had walked straight past it haha Great camo and hide spot TFTC!
Took a bit to find looking at the wrong ones to begin with. Picture helped. Tftc
I found it with little children it’s accessible to all but it’s not exactly where the GPS takes you it’s about 3-5 meters away.
Still a great find.
Wish I had brought a pen though.

Gosh i almost lost this one! Had found & retrieved it, nek minnit a bit goes over the side, down "there". Had to wander along down "there" till i found it. Lucky i could reach it tangled up in the greenery. Phew. Got cache all back together after signing it. Nice camo & nice view. TFTC
Out for a caching day with merlot58 and supernannny. We were heading out east, but stopped at the new cache in Watling Reserve on our way (didn't think I would be back there so soon after visiting yesterday to get the FTF!). Due to a road block, we had to take a different route which took us past this cache, and the others were happy to stop so I could find it. Nice and easy to find - not quite in the first place I looked, but I'll put that down to the stress of being watched by a previous finder No problems with this one and some nice urban camo. And a nice view, too. Thanks for placing it here.
As a bonus, this cache gave me a Firefly - my first magical item for Signal's Labyrinth!

A short uphill walk to collect this cache. Nicely camo'd cache container but the top may need some attention (re-gluing) TFTC

That was cool, my most creative cache to find to date. I had parked right under it. And yes great view, though not much time to enjoy. TFTC
Very good cameo indeed but after a quick look the cache was spotted and in our hands to sign. Thanks for your efforts and showing us this good view.
#838 I was on the wrong side of the road initially, until a local geocacher realised what I was doing and pointed to where the cache would possibly be. I touched the cache, not realising it was, and returned, after there was nothing else that seemed likely. Cool container! TFTC
Nice cache hide here and a great view from GZ. The top part of the cache has come off so is only balancing so might need a little Maint to repair. Aside from that, a great cache here, thanks for that.
It's F F F Friday and time to hit the trail again after a relative day off yesterday and just the one find out Kumeu way. mrs c is at work at 0630 and I'm off and out in the other car just behind her and on the caching trail. Targets for the day are a few solved puzzles as well as any collateral nearby caches and a first trip out Hillsborough way to see what that area is like (it's nice). 30-odd caches, half of which are tuolei ones, a load of puzzles knocked off and beat the weather which is always a winner. So many thanks to all COs for their hides, it's not a game without the CO's efforts.

found it after a bit of looking! it really does stick out like a sore thumb! the clue is very helpful got absolutely soaked in the process though
We had taken a trip into the city to drop off something to a friend and we thought that it would be such a waste of a beautiful day to just drive into the city and then back home again. So, a plan was hatched to do a little caching while we were out. As the inner city is a bit of a mess at the moment, we decided it would be better to try the surrounding suburbs. So we settled on the Mt. Eden and Balmoral area.
As soon as we drove up to GZ we could see what the warning was talking about. As Mrs. Liver Bird was still recovering from a badly rolled ankle, Mr. Kiwi was the one to go and grab this cache. Crossing the road and heading up, he came to a point where the GPS on the phone said the cache was. Then the phone caught up with his movements, and he had to turn around and go back again. This happened a few times until he finally zeroed in on the cache.
It didn't actually take long before the cache was spotted, but since it didn't seem to move when pulled at, it was dismissed and the search continued. Anyway, there were no other obvious cache containers around, so a closer inspection of this object was called for. Well, what do you know, it was the cache after all. Extraction was just not as easy as giving it a tug.
A nice piece of camouflage if you don't know what you are looking for, but as a geocacher, it does stick out a bit like a sore thumb. A great hide in a very public place.

Driving home from picking something up and pulled in here to attempt this, which I’d never noticed on the map before. Had a good idea of what I was looking for, but in the dark was having trouble. Deployed the phone torch and realised I’d stopped one short on my systematic search-by-touch. Nicely done. Very imaginative and well constructed. A fav point for a quality first hide. Skytower was looking great tonight. Thanks for the view-tiful cache!
No view today because of rain and clouds but indeed a nifty little hide here, tftc!
Visiting my daughter for a few days. She lives in Three Kings so this was one of the closest caches to her place. Got to GZ and wondered where to get the best view. Didn’t take long to spot the cache which was all fine. Great first hide and happy to give it a favourite. Enjoyed the view as well. Thanks for the smiley.
Out on a sunny day finding geocaches in the area and filming. Great cache container here and loved the view. Favourite from us. Thanks themightysundins nice hide.
What a difference a hint makes . I spent absolutely ages looking for this on my last visit to Auckland, I couldn't decide where the GPS wanted me to be or what I was looking for. Today it all seemed so obvious.
Thanks for the cache, found on an awesome Auckland day.

Up in Auckland for the long weekend. We were just going for a random drive before dinner and spotted this cache on our route. Walked up the drive for a quick find. Cool camo cache which was fun to find. A fav point from us.
Thanks for placing the cache themightysundins.

Out and about with the elder Future Finder for a few hours of cache detection on this, largely, overcast day of summer. I parked up on the road and we made the short walk up to GZ. I spied what I correctly assumed was the hide on approach. Nice effort on the camo here. We agreed that it is a nice view from this spot. Cheers for the cache placement!
#8899. I was driving past here today and decided it would be a good time to check out this cache. I had an aunty who used to live on Landscape Road years ago. Today I parked nearby and headed up to GZ. I was looking very closely as I made my way up there so spotted the object of interest as I approached. While signing the log a car pulled out so had to make room for that. Returned the cache as found. Great view of the Sky Tower from here. Would be good spot to watch the New Year fireworks display. Well done on the cache camo. Thanks themightysundins for hiding it here.
Some young guys were unloading a car at one end near gz so I approached from the other end and had no problems locating the cache. Nice work for your first cache hide! I was about to return the cache but had to wait as a car had pulled up behind me and wanted to turn into the next drive down from where I was standing. Once he was gone I quickly replaced as found
Gorgeous Auckland day for caching. We found this without too much trouble once we avoided the nearby gardener. Pretty clever for a first cache! TFTC
Great views for sure from gz on this stunning Spring day. Once we were at the right level we soon spotted what we were looking for and spied this cleverly camo'd cache. TFTC
picking up some caches is a good reason to get out on the bike again. A good cache .TFTC
Took me a second to spot it, but as soon as I saw it. There was no mistaking!
Well done!
Hand sanitizer before and after cache handling.
Great view indeed!
All good here!

This cache is quite close to our house and I've been saving it for a "dot day" when I'm a bit pressed for time - thought that might be a weekday but turns out our Sunday was busier than we thought.
Swung by here and parked up and walked with Albert the geohound to the cache where Mrs Tulolei spotted something out of place and sure enough, there was the cache. Nice piece of camo work done here, a hint of G--2 here even perhaps.
Signed in and replaced as found, Nice work and thanks for the cache.

Took me a while to figure out exactly where I should be...very clever hide...cheers V
We felt a bit conspicuous looking for this one but it was raining so there weren't any muggles around.
We didn't spot anything after a quick initial glance but when we slowed down for a more thorough search we spotted something which warranted further investigation and it turned out to be the nicely camouflaged cache.
A clever hide, and a nice view. Thanks themightysundins
